Bir landed on all fours, and that's when Gabriel made his move, discreetly gathering energy for what came next. Blue eyes locked laser-focused on the Kel'dor. Which seemed to give him away, but also meant he was ready. Bir went for his weapon and, a sign even if the grin and direct contact hadn't done it, and it was the Sith's arms that Gabriel was watching.

As Bir's left hand swung up Gabriel's right left his pocket to flick right, the two trading Force-borne blows. While the Sith went to pull the Jedi into the alley by the neck, Gabriel used the Force to smash his left hand into the alley wall with enough strength to break the fragile bones. Ideally it'd interrupt the Sith's concentration through injury, attempted defense, or both. Gabriel would have to directly resist the efforts on his neck if they managed to continue, but he'd rather not.

Whether the initial pull got him into the alley or not, Gabriel was entering the alley. His left hand left its pocket and settled by his upper torso, as if the jacketed limb had any real defense against a lightsaber. Beneath were his gauntlets- but the Sith didn't know that, of course, since they were covered up. His eyes sharply narrowed and he moved into the alley at a fair, short-striding jog-like pace, keeping his balanced on the approach. Both arms were up in a boxer's guard.

Well aware he was fighting a Sith and not an ordinary target sent nervous tingles down his spine, but right now all he could really rely on was his training. He was also wary of more influence on his person from Bir while he closed distance for melee.

As the armored Sith, surrounded by soldiers with weapons pointed at him, put out his blade and complied, a pair of soldiers moved forward with cuffs in their hands, seemingly intent on arresting the Sith. Another soldier walked up to Vin and helped her to her feet. "Are you okay, can you walk?" One of them asked her as he offered her a hand. Accepting it with a grateful smile, she nodded in response, and let him guide her away from the action and towards the exit.

As he did so she got a last look at the masked Sith, soldiers walking up to him to try and put the handcuffs on, while the soldier leading her told her about finding her an ambulance to get her to a hospital. As he walked her out the doors, he looked around and spotted a tree with a circular block of duracrete at its base meant for people to sit on. Weaving through the still panicking crowd, he helped her to a seat before pulling out his comlink and calling for medical support from the building's infirmary.

"Stay here," he said as he moved back towards the door, "help should be down any minute, I'll bring them out to you." And just like that she was left alone, effectively free to do what she willed.

Recognizing that he was about to do battle with yet another invader on Denon, Bir had enough good sense to suspect reaction to his own efforts. While Gabriel’s right hand being removed from his pocket would have been difficult to physically see, the Kel Dor could sense the Force pooling within him to prepare for retaliation. He could feel the accumulated energies coil around his own left arm, Bir raising his right from it’s position at his hip in response to the growing energies of his foe and altering Gabriel’s Force trajectory to Bir’s left, disturbing a small amount of garbage that had been left uncollected. This was to prevent his arm from being pulled into the wall and allowing his previous efforts of sustaining a choke hold on the boy to continue in hopes of pulling him in and putting him off balance.

His right hand continued in it’s arc across his torso until it came to an end at Bir’s left hip. Metallic fingers wrapped themselves around the hilt of his neuronic whip and pulled it free, the long wire crackling to life as the Kel Dor snapped his arm ahead in a backhanded motion. Stepping forward on his right foot, the electrified whip would leap forth towards his opponent, aimed for his knees. With Gabriel’s forward trajectory, be it by Bir’s efforts or his own, the whip would coil around the Padawan’s legs unless it was evaded and leave him with severe burns.

As this occurred, Bir knew he needed to expect things to go awry. Keeping most of his weight on his forward/right foot, he prepared to move if the need arose.

The day was going from bad to worse as Aziz had found himself surrounded by security forces while the female stalker was being treated for aid. The mask Sith was about to comply with the troops, if only to rid of the others, when Darth Draugr suddenly reported the appearance of Jedi.

As the woman was led outside (@Wit ), Aziz would draw on his anger and irritation with this entire day. On Bir and the Orc acolyte, on these soldiers forgetting who leads the Empire, on all these damn people in his way, and summon the dark side to aid him. Suddenly his arms shot outward, hands and fingers wide, save for a couple fingers holding his saber hilt. This would unleash a powerful shockwave of dark side energy to repulse the soldiers from around him as well as anyone else within 5-10 feet of the Champion.

Those left standing would not have a chance to react. Still fueled by the dark side, Aziz sped for the stairs in order to support the Darth and perhaps add to his collections of Jedi hilts.

Cairo had spent a moment speaking with the troops hurrying through the building, both rushing up stairs and rushing to evacuate the injured and terrified civilians. The sudden report of Jedi attack from Darth Draugr worried young Cairo. It was a relief, perhaps in some ways, that there was an explanation for the oddness. On the other hand, it meant that his deduction had been wildly inaccurate, and he had implicated an innocent member of the Sith Order in what was a Jedi attack. Such a mistake would not be rewarded, he assumed. On the other, the lingering feeling of suspicion following Jade's faux-bombing attempt remained. It seemed be a little convenient, but perhaps Cairo had entirely misjudged whatever situation had happened.

He made for the stairs himself, arriving approximately around when Aziz would. Wanting to avoid the armor-clad Sith's wrath at his insolence, he silently took a position moving up the stairs behind him. His left hand sat on the grip of his blaster pistol, as he followed the senior Sith towards Draugr's position.

Even though the Sith had finally coordinated the assault and were about to rush up the stairs together, it would be too late as Vren sent the message. It would only take a matter of seconds before it was delivered to the navy above, a fleet-wide order to lower their weapons at the presence of an approaching FWA fleet. The Navy Commanders would spread the command and one by one, the main batteries of the Sith fleet whirred down as they rested in an idle state.

Shorty after just being delivered the message, the "commandeered" FWA fleet would hyperspace in after receiving a signal from Vren, a force equal in size to the garrison. Even with the abrupt entrance, none of the Sith ships opened fire but instead just patiently sat there. The FWA force would approach the planet but specifically the blockade at cruising speed to maintain their appearance of being commandeered.

By the time the two forces neared each other and the Sith Navy Commanders requested codes to be allowed entry, it would be too late for them to do anything as the FWA ships would suddenly open fire on them, their weapons already primed. Despite being similar in size, the advantage of surprise heavily tilted the battle in the Free World's favor. With the lightning strike, a majority of the garrison would receive heavy damage, a few craft being destroyed altogether as the Sith mounted a quick retreat.

Alarms would already be signaled throughout the planet, alerting the populace that the FWA had arrived. Reinforcements would soon drop down on the Jedi's location in order to pick them up and relieve them. The Sith could have continued to push up the stairs if they wanted but the damage had already been done and it would mostly only raise their chances of being captured themselves. Vren would leave the room in order to rendezvous with the others.

Despite whatever happened, it was done. Denon had been liberated.
