The conquering of Lothal had gone swimmingly but it had been a symbol for what was to come. It was time for the Mandalorians to secure means to supply themselves. The planet of Garos would be the target of this. It resided right next to Mandalore and had recently been suffering under strife. With the FWA's major loss of planets, taxes had been risen to support what had remained and put a strain on the populace. Not only that but the planet was quite far from the Core and out of easy reinforcement range, adding more to the strain and the questioning of why they remained in the FWA for their "protection" when they did everything themself.
Despite the rumblings, the Governor still lined his pockets with credits and continued on without a care. With the population becoming restless and the Governor appearing to not have a damn, it led to rebelling high-ranking officials turning to the Mandalorians for help. Both able to appeal to a self-relying nature in spirit, an alliance was easy to create between them. If the Mandalorians could help overthrow the Governor and his loyalists at the capital, the planet would pledge itself to their cause and support them in exchange for protection and being afforded more autonomy.
As a result, Clan Solus had answered the call leading this and resulting in Nox once more at the front. Instead of a typical entrance to battle, however, they used their allies' position to their advantage. The Rebels had snuck the Mandalorians into the city, resulting in handfuls of Solus stowed away on roofs of buildings that surrounded the Governor's estate, ready to descend once they were given the signal. There were more hidden throughout the city to help with the general battle as well.
Nox remained crouched behind some cover with that group, his pistol blaster already drawn and within his left hand as he waited with bated breath, his quiet whispers to himself dedicated to Kad.
Martial law was in effect in the city because of the protests, civilians forced to be in their homes, and thankfully part of the plan. They were doing this for the people, at least the Rebels, and that meant they needed to get out of the way. Soldiers were littered throughout the city, their allegiances unknown as the Rebels got into position for the surgical attacks. A portion of the Mandalorian fleet was ready to be called in as well once the battle begun to drive in the final nail of the coffin.
After his quiet prayers, Nox turned his head to peer at Dalair, How holding? The signal should be soon. Curious about his forge master's well-being. It was the first time he would see the Solus fight and he wondered how he felt.
