Looking to take a Padawan

So to help my character get out of the whole Non-playing thing, I'm looking to take a padawan. Any and all may apply, if interested please post here or pm me.

Being new here, I have to ask. What does take a Padawan mean? It's probably really obvious but it's not a term I've heard before XD

It's taking an initiate under your tutelage to teach them about the Force and what it means to be a Jedi. On this site it's basically an rp partner to help the new Jedi advance to the next rank. I only take one padawan at a time, as I find more a little too taxing.

The rank of Initiate was removed a year ago so Initiate and Padawan are basically the same thing now even though they are not the same thing. Having said that, Padawans are no longer required to get a master to ensure a road to knighthood. A padawan has to learn through study, missions and a refined understanding of the jedi philosophies to become a knight although after the core fell to the empire, we lost all temples. Now the jedi study and rest in safe houses hidden in jedi friendly planets were padawans can learn and grow.

That doesn't mean it hurts to have a master. It's nice just for the bond it forges between two players.

That is very true, masters are not needed but are very fun and encouraged.

Well, I've seen you write. I might even be willing to break my normal rule if you do and need a master.

Plus, I think learning from nothing but group lessons and single study gets boring.

Yes, she's approved, and She's looking to learn pretty much everything. Lightsaber, The Force, and go on some missions.
