Where are all these jedi that the Alsakans are so capable of killing all of them?

It would be and unless you are all secretly hiding with the Tae, somewhere on Coruscant, or on Alsaka, we should know where you are if we are capable of screwing over the jedi.

The Slaver's Price and Mayday.
I'm not posting in that one until everything is sorted out... and until the faction leader posts first.

Uhm why? You wouldn't know it was us. As far as you'd know, if it goes through, is that either the Tae or Tae Terrorists attacked Alsakan. And the Republic isn't in bad shape at the moment. We're just not doing anything. You've got Coruscant, okay. We still have how many other planets?
Why would the Tae attack Alsakan...? We're going to know that this was a setup, it's a little obvious. The Tae would have no reason, and it would seem like a sort of trick that an enemy we're currently at war with would try. Seriously, the Republic has done nothing, just like you said. And we would know what kind of activity was going in our sector. The Tae would not attack Alsakan, it's kind of Shalharra's planet, the Goddess they revere... It is a red flag to have fake transponder codes for Tae vessels with hydrogen bombs in the lifepods... We're going to know who did it, IF it goes through.

If it makes you feel any better ols, I just arranged a mission with about 6 jedi being on coruscant now.

Great!
Yeah, we'll probably glass the entire effing planet now.

It could, potentially be Tae terrorists, or a backstab by the Tae. I don't think you can IC be sure until somebody IC owns up to it.

You don't know the Jedi are there IC, but killing billions of civillians on Galactic center just to retaliate isn't maybe the best option...

My character would know IC immediately. Why? Because the Tae are smaller in number than the people of Alsakan, plus it is Shalharra's world, and I don't know if you've been paying attention, but the Tae love Shalharra...

Yes we do... It's the Republic capital, and there is a temple on Coruscant... Plus, it's going to be retaliation for both acts, IF we decide to glass the planet. We may do other, more devious things instead...

Fair enough, I can't account for individual characters, but again extremists do do extreme things, so you can't completely rule it out. I mean if there's people who can convince themselves blowing themselves up and taking a bunch of others with them will get them into heaven, then it's not impossible that a bunch of Tae extremists might hate the Alsakans so much they do this "in the name of Shalharra". Again, I'm just speculating, but there's always outside possibilities.

I meant the 6 Jedi matt is taking there now...of course you know there's the Monastery.

We've got a very small Monastery, as the actual Jedi Temple hasn't been built yet, and won't for a couple thousand years. Also, when the attack happened, the Jedi left. Thus why matt said he was sending six Jedi back to Coruscant for whatever reason. At the moment there are only six Jedi to be had on that planet.

Well, think about it, yes there are extremists, but what kind of extremist would destroy a symbol of their faith, FOR their faith? That is essentially what the Tae would be doing as far as I know.

And Nexus, yeah, but would the Alsakans know this? I'm not saying that they would glass the entire planet for that single monastary, as that would be incredibly stupid, but it would be a contributing factor for whatever retaliation the people of Alsakan would seek.

Two things. It was Boli who suggested we use Tae codes, as he knew it would cause turmoil for the Tae. I'd think he'd no his faction the best.

But anyways, you probably would. I mean, I'd think you'd investigate the Monastery once you took the planet, wouldn't you? Seeing it completely empty would turn on a light in your heads, I'd imagine.

And I'd know mine, I created the religion, and the planet, and the main city-ring around it. But as for the Tae, if what I was led to believe was true, about Shalharra and all that jazz, from what Boli wanted to plan out earlier, then they wouldn't do this. I know that The Murray would tell the Alsakan faction leader that they didn't do it, then the faction leader would probably believe him, as he wouldn't think so either, then together they would make a statement after talking with Tae diplomats. And I am pretty sure the Tae wouldn't be all like "No, we did it..." as they didn't...

As for the Jedi on Coruscant... we haven't really went down to the surface much...

Also Tae terrorists are unlikely to have the resources to build or buy their own hydrogen bombs. They could have the backing of the Republic but if they did, I think attacking the Republic directly would be better than bothering with the terrorists as terrorists could be a bit difficult to weed out.

Terrorists, if they can get money, could well pull this off. The terrorists could be funded by a trillionaire crimelord. They could be funded by the Tae government (who don't have a huge amount of cash, but probably could work it out). So is your arguement there basically "My char thinks it's the Republic because it's easier to retaliate to them"?

The Tae really don't have a motive to attack, I also don't see why a trillionaire crime lord would do it unless it were to incriminate the Tae. The only ones with both the motive and capability to pull it off would be the Republic.

And how does the Republic steal ships from the Alsakan's back garden from a race that has been "lost" for millenia?
Good question. How did they get them to begin with?

It may have been lost for millennia but since Alsaka has now attacked, I would imagine that they would have gained serious intelligence about the area and would have been able to hook up with any radicals on the planet to give them nukes.
