----- One or Two days later -----

Location; Galactic Alliance Judiciary Central Detention Center;
Level; 98;
Eastern Wing; Room 42;
Time; 14:36;

Bargening with the warden to be allowed a meeting away from the main unit and without no guards hadn't been easy, there had been a few conditions that he had been requiered to follow – one of them had been to transfere a hefty sum from his account to the wardens, and another was that he would spend the next three months in complete isolation - that was the prize that Nathaniel would pay for being allowed this one meeting. But then of course, it was worth it seeing as he had managed to get permission to use the eastern wing on level 98 – the whole level was more or less a place that the warden had put a lot of effort in to make it very comfortable for those that stayed the nights at the Detention Center. Or at least a room that was located in the eastern wing, one that had windows to the outside – Nathaniel had found it rather comical to see the rooms that had been built on the level. Most of them had been the size of a simple appartment, but a bit more effort had been put into them.

Leaning against the window he looked down at the speeders that flew by, his right arm was slightly above his head and was his support against the window – with his left being in one of the pockets on his orange jumpsuit. Courtsy of the warden however, was that he had been allowed to be free of his bindings for the duration of the time spent in the room that they he had recived permission to meet Faith in. Glancing over towards the door, Nathaniel wondered when she would arrive.

"I think it'll be a fun meeting, but you know the drill. Get in as soon as you receive the signal. Summon the others too."
The young woman uttered while exiting the fancy speeder.

On Faith's shoulder was a non discreet bag. In it were two change of clothes, and a new attire for her friend. Meandering through the hallway to the meeting place, Faith brushed the possibility of worst case scenario out of her mind. Her final words to her body guard gave a a sense of reassurance.

Moments later, Faith found herself in the exact room. "Right on time" She muttered low to herself as she entered the room. Kariya stood, tall and handsome as she'd always imaged him. A sense of slight nervousness could be detected in the Force. Without missing a step, The Initiative Operative walked straight towards Kariya and then handed him a package.

"Here. Orange is so not your color."

Inside the bag was a new change of clothes similar to the one Kariya adorned when the pair first met.

'Don't worry, a received clearance for you to change. Go ahead."

Faith added. The contours on her face would turn into that of a smile. A rather broad one at that!

When he saw that she entered the room he turned around and looked at her and crooked one of his brows whenhe noticed the bag, now what could she have in that bag that would have allowed her to bring it with her – most interesting indeed, for the moment at least. Getting handed a package Nathaniel looked at it for a few seconds as he held it with both his hands, before looking up from the package and locking eyes with Faith – having a questioning look on his face. He chuckled a bit and smiled when she made the same remark she had done a two days ago when he had contacted her, so it was clothes in the bag.”Thought you liked the change, but guess I was wrong.” Nathaniel said with a joking voice, in thruth he didn't think that he looked good in most types of clothes – though the same couldn't be said about her, at least he thought so.

“Wanting to inspect me are we now?” he said with a hint of sarcasm in his voice and walked over to where the table was and took out the clothes from the bag and placed them on the table, not waiting for her response to what he said he started to take of the orange jumpsuit that all the prisoners wore while in the facility. But he wasn't in any rush now was he, no no – most certainly not. Instead he took his time getting out of the jumpsuit to give Faith a good look at him if she wanted one, not that she hadn't seen this much of him before. Stopping halfway he looked over his shoulder.”See anything you like?” he said with a chuckle before continuing taking of the jumpsuit.

Turning her posture to the open skyline, and thus behind Kariya, Faith flicked out her cigara. Soon the expensive rolled leaves met her lips.

"You do realize I came prepared to help you escape out of this awful place, yes?"

Faith paused, though merely momentarily, as she allowed her rhetorical question to sink in. Drawing on her expensive rolled leaves yet again, she gently moved the box of cigara towards Kariya and then set it down- through the Force.

"Outside these four walls are my men. They only need the word, and you'll be a free man.
As far as I know the Alliance has it's hands full with more important matters. You, my dear, are on the bottom of the totem pole, as far as the Alliance priority is concerned. Word is, they're about to be-"

She paused yet again though her gaze remained on the street.

"...A diaspora of sorts is the best description, Nathan.
Funny because not too long ago the accountant confirmed the receipt of my reward in capturing one of their most wanted men. I bet you wouldn't have a clue who it was."

A chuckle followed, shortly after The Initiative Operative concluded her words.

Feeling the smell of smoke he frowned, he didn't smoke any more – nor would be begin to do so again. When she mentioned that she had come here prepared to help him escape Nathaiel paused his movements for a seconds, before resuming putting on the white t-shirt that had been inside the bag that she had brought with her. He didn't answer her question though, there wasn't any need for it just yet – at least for the moment.

When she mentioned about the accountant confirming the receipt for her reward for bringing him to justice he just chuckled before lifting up a brown jacket, inspecting it for a few seconds before taking it on.”Oh but I think that I do know who you are talking about.” Nathaniel said as he turned around and walked towards Faith.

“I believe the man you are talking about it me.” he said and did a slight bow with his head as he held out his arms to the side.”Or am I wrong, Faith?”

"Of course. It's you."
She interjected while observing his comedic bow.
Cigara still in hand, she took another draw. The contours on Kariya's face alluded to his disapproval. A quick invasion of his thoughts through the Force confirmed the ex Jedi suspicions. He did not approve of her smoking.

"Now, do you or do you not want my help?
Don't make me change my mind, Kariya."

Faith's gaze now back to the skyline, she pondered on the impulsive move that led her to Kariya. Inwardly, she knew a girl of her stature and background shouldn't engage in half of the shenanigans she'd recently found herself in. Faiths impropriety, however, didn't concern her one bit. In fact, she'd successfully blocked out any and all voice of reasoning- her husband and close inner circles included.

"So what do you say handsome? Stay in this god forsaken hell hole, or ride out with me? Unless you're counting on the Empire's pending attack to save your arse. Oh and don't worry, my informants are always dead on."

Want her help, at the sound of that question he straightened out and showed a stern expression – help she said. Stay in this hell hole or ride out with her, wasn't that a rather obvious choice? So there rumors he had heard from the guard was true, the Empire had launched a full scale invasion of the Galactic Alliance – it was the way that she worded it, along with the rumors that he had heard that Nathaniel came to the conclusion.”Do you need to ask? Why would I turn down help from someone as beautiful as you.” he said with a cold voice, and his face showed that he was serious about it.

“What do you have in plan for getting me out from here, bombs? A strike team, trigger the alarms on the lower levels, cause the prisons security center go into emergency mode and open all the cells thus creating a riot.” speaking about different escape methods as he walked closer to Faith.”Which one is it going to be?” Nathaniel said as he stopped only a few feet from her, having a serious expression on his face.

"Of course I need to ask."

Faith Cassex-Kyyysha responded. This time, the Kashyyyk native's tone was unusually gentle. Almost soft spoken, like a proper lady. Now turning to face her man Cassex extinguished her cigara, and then proceeded to take a seat on one of the single leather chairs. Eyes now dead on Nahtan, Faith added

"Settle down, don't get too excited yet..."

His former words would again ring through her mind ”Do you need to ask? Why would I turn down help from someone as beautiful as you.”

Soon, a soft chime emanating from the young woman's bag would bring hr back to reality. The job at hand...
Pulling out the electronic device, through the Force, Faith will quickly read, decipher, and respond to the message. Chances are Faith's team and Kariya could very likely pull off a prison break. The idea of finally seeing Kariya free made her smile. Even so, deep down she knew she'd have to resort to a constant change of residence. The idea was rather unsettling...

"...I told you orange was not your color. This set clothes fits you well. Tell me, how has prison life been? While you're at it, I'd love something to drink."
Always the discreet one, Faith subtly diverted the subject. Hoping to either buy time, and or forfeit her original mission entirely.

Nathaniel just chuckled when she said that she needed to ask, why did she need to ask even – after all she was a former Jedi, and that meant that there was something special about her. If she wanted she could have read his mind to see the answer, but instead she had wanted him to say it out loud, at least it had seemed that way. Don't get exited yet, did he really seem so exited about a potentional prison break? Yes he did, there was something to breaking out from a prison that made the blood in his veins run hot – it gave him a certain form of pleasure in thinking up ways on how to arrange a prison break, both to get in and to get out.”As you wish, madam.” he said and placed one hand behind his back and the other infront of him as he bowed whilst speaking, straightening out soon after and rolling his head a bit.

“That you have said already two times today, and another time when I contacted you.” Nathaniel started as he watched Faith from where he stood by the window, it would be so easy to break it from the inside – there were a few pressure points that he saw that could be used to shatter the window if you applied just enough pressure. Chuckling a bit at her asking for a drink.”Unfortunally there is nothing aclohol based liquid in this room, but there is always water if that is good enough for you.” he asked her as he started to walk over to the small kitchen that was located in the far en of the room, close to the table where his orange jumpsuit hung on one of the chairs.

“Prison life have been calm, nothing much to do nor complain about. Nothing worth my time anyway, found a few good books that I can pass my time with while in my cell. Either that or train using my own body, then there are a few times we are allowed to use the prisons gym facility. Not as often as one would like, but it's often enough to keep in shape at least. The food could be better for sure, truth be told it's just a nutrient paste of sort that is meant to give us enough proteins, carbohydrates and vitamins.” shrugging a bit Nathaniel poured up two glasses of water, one for him and one for Faith.”It doesn't do much to fill the stomach though.” he said as he began to walk over to Faith, handing over the glass of water to her once he was close enough.

At the sight of the glass of water, Faith’s facial contours changed into that of a smirk. Good thing she brought her own drink! She took the glass being offered to her and asked for Kariyas as well.

“Your glass, too, if you would.”
The young woman commanded as her man reached a stopping point with the two glass of water. Simultaneously speaking, she beckoned her bag to her hand.

“Glad I brought my own drink.”
Bottle now in hands, she observed the expensive drink. She didn’t give a second thought to the cost of the drink. In fact, she never has. Her family’s lucrative pharmaceutical business and other aspirations all seems to be thriving more than ever. With the pending wars between the Empire and Alliance, the Kyyysha Pharmaceutical Inc. would even see more exponential growth. Large businesses also seem to thrive during times of war. Good thing her family has continued to remain neutral and continues to do business with both sides.

“Here you are. A proper drink, just for you.”
Faith said, while handing her man a glass of drink. With a hint of smirk and lightheartedness, she chided the man.

“…I hope you didn’t also give up drinking in addition to smoking…. Soon the Alliance will be dispersed. My father thinks the Empire is given far more credence than they deserve. But, we’ll see. Time will tell if the Alliance will be able to hold back the core from the Empire, right?”

When she asked for his glass he raised an eyebrow and looked at her with curiosity at first, but soon just smirked and surrendered the glass to Faith – she really was a intruiging woman. At the sight of the bottle he just chuckled a bit.”Smuggling in alcohol into a prison, I approve.” he said and took a seat in the chair opposite of her aftering being handed the glass, bringing it up he closed his eyes as he smelled the aroma of the liqour. Sipping a bit and tasting it, he smiled when he opened his eyes again.”You have a fine taste.” starting to laugh lowly when she mused that he might have given up drinking.”That is something I couldn't do, not with corellian blood in me.”

“The alliance will fall, it's only a matter of time. And when that happen there will be chaos on the streets, people will cry because of pain, hatred and sorrow, it's going to be beautiful to watch to hear the suffering of people.” saying that he was human, was in a way a insult – he wasn't a human any more, he was different in his mind.”What do you say Faith, is war something beautiful to watch? Or something horrible that shouldn't happen.” Nathaniel said with a grin on his face, his eys showed that he missed the chaos brought by war and that he wanted to take part in creating this chaos. How would she react to what he had just said, would she become like so many other people who didn't understand the reasoning behind why you would kill another person – or would she want to try and understand it.

”Smuggling in alcohol into a prison, I approve.”

With a slight chuckle, Faith closed the lid to the drink simultaneously interjected,
"Glad you do. I knew you would."

Shortly after Kariya took his share of the drink, he began to open up. His perspective on the Empire and Alliance baffled the woman. While he spoke, Faith gently summoned his glass to her hands- through the Force. Merely seconds upon taking a hold of the glass, Faith downed the entire content in one big gulp!

A poignant query, one that didn't surprise the ex Jedi was aired.
"What do you say Faith, is war something beautiful to watch? Or something horrible that shouldn't happen.”

"Kariya, you know I was once a Jedi."
She paused. Allowing her words to sink in.

"Once a Jedi always a Jedi. All I know is soon there will be a diaspora of sorts. The Alliance will be loose a lot of ground, and big business such as my family's business will thrive. All at the expense of innocent lives."

Raising up from her chair, the ex Jedi walked over to the window. Her gaze, falling once again into the skyline. Observing and pondering as though the seemingly deep gaze into the vast skyline could alter the situation.

"When you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you. I forget where I read that, but you know what Kariya,-"
She paused, turning her full attention directly at him. Eyes, dead on his as though staring deep into his very core.

"No. I hate war. I loathe everything that encompasses war. I suppose you can call me a hypocrite seeing as I've neglected my duty as a Jedi, my child, and husband... I hate war. I hate the chaos...The very thing that led me to you on Hutt space. Kariya, I'm tired of running. I don't want to anymore...."

“I know.” he said when she mentioned that she had once been a Jedi, she had already told him once before –a mere day earlier she had told him that.”You told me before.”

When he felt a small pulling feeling on the glass he let go of it and watched as it hovered through the air to Faith, it made him chuckle when he watched it fly the short distance between them – and how she simple swept down the drink without giving it a second thought.”War profetering is the most promising market there is, be it weapons, armors, starships or medical equipment. Anything that can manufacture items that are of interest to the military will be bought up, leaving little to those that cannot pay the prizes the military offers.” following her with his eyes as she walked over to the window.”I know it because of what I did when I was still loyal to a cause.”

“I could call you that.” Nathaniel said as he stood up and turned to face her, beginning to walk over to her.”But if you are tired of running, then stop running. Instead of hating the chaos, embrace it and understand it. Learn what sort of sides people show when everything goes to hell.” stopping short of a meter from her.”That is when peoples true nature show itself, i've seen it more times then I can remember. And it amazes me every single time I see it happen....”

“So what will it be, will you continue running.” he said and raised his left arm out towards the side.”Or will you embrace it and understand it.” raising his right arm the same way he had one with his left arm.”It's your choice. Faith.”

"Tell, me, Kariay."
The ex Jedi responded. Pondering on her words rather carefully while at the same time watching her man approach her.

"Does anything good come out of chaos?"
The query was really a rhetorical one. Of course something good does come out of chaos. The Jedi purge and ultimate diaspora of old led the few remnants in creating a new Alliance. Perhaps history could repeat itself again with the pending war against the New Jedi Order. Perhaps...

"While your views of me is one of loyalty, I can't say the same about the others whom I have failed."
Her thoughts drifted back to her Master, her husband, her daughter, her friends. All of whom have no clue of her whereabouts.

Eyes still dead on Kariya, Faith reached for his hanging hand mind air.

"Being a vagabond is not my style. Id like to start over. Truly settle down, and for once make a difference. Escaping out of here would mean more leads following our tail. I'd rather not-"

She asked if something good came out of chaos, his reaction to it was a simple ha. Destruction and rebirth was something that was always present, even in this room. But it wasn't visible as it would as the fall of a nation, a government or a entier planet – it was more subtle then that, much more subtle then that.”Destruction and rebirth, it's all around us Faith. At times it brings out the good in people, but at the same time it brings out the worst in people....”

”Loyalty you say?” the very word loyalty made him chuckle and shake his head.”Don't make up stories about me Faith. Loyalty is cheap, as is blood.” he said with a cold voice, loyalty could be bought, blood cought be bought – they lived in a world where people threw away their lives for petty change.”Why else would mercenaries such a myself fight in wars for money, we sell our blood to a cause and war that isn't ours. It's simple, because we seek out conflict. We want to survive, we want to prove to ourselves that we have the right to survive, to live. That is why people fight.” pausing for a moment to let what he had said sink in.”Tell me Faith, have you never felt the satisfaction from walking away alive from a fight for your life. Knowing that you proved to yourself that you have the right to live.”

When she reached for his hands that was hanging mid air he took her hands.”What's stopping you from settling down then, is it fear that your past will catch up to you.” directing her hands towards his neck if she would let him as he stepped closer to her.”If so, then cast away your past. Don't let it drag you down to your knees, cast it away and choose to live in the present and the future, not the past.”

Words flowed from Nathan Kariya like never before. Perhaps all the reading he's been doing is to blame.

”Destruction and rebirth, it's all around us Faith.
Nathaniel's own words struck something deep in Faith. Her hands now covering over his, she simply listened as h spoke. Part of his words contracted hers, but nonetheless, she gave her man undivided attention. She uttered not a word until another poignant question was asked of her.

"A host of things seems to stop me from settling down. Chief among them is the Jedi. I left them in the dark. Forsook them without missing a beat. The Initiative is now my passion even though I don't need the money. But you know what scares me the most?"

Moving in closer, she allowed her body to lean in on Kariya.
"..No question the Alliance will be beaten bad, but the possibility of this place falling into the hands of the Empire scares me. I think you know why...The thought of you staying in this god forsaking place..."

Nathaniel didn't speak, but listened to what Faith told him – her reasons that was stopping her from settling down. Hearing how she spoke about the jedi made him think that she missed them, that she thought she had betrayed them, but who was he to judge – he who had betrayed people before, it was not his right to judge her. She would learn to live with the choices that she had made in her life, some of the choices she had made would be difficult to make peace with, but in due time – she would learn to live with them.”What scares you the most.”

When she leaned towards him he let got of one of her hands and placed his hand on her hip, he didn't say anything when she continued. He closed his eyes for a moment when she said that the thing that scared her the most was him staying in this god forsaking place, letting go of her other hand he placed his under her chin and made her look up at him. Before offering a smile and leaning in and giving Faith a kiss. He didn't need to say anything, he was sure that his actions would be enough for her to understand.

Casting a dismissive look, The Initiative's Operative turned her eye to the room. The room, no bigger than a one one hotel, was nicely furnished. Faith wondered how Karya scored such a place even though he was still under arrest. Though no expensive wall furnishings graced the chamber walls, there were a decorative plants, and ornate furniture. Directly behind the pair was a medium size sofa. Cati-cornered to that was the hallway, leading to what the red hair presumed to be the refresher/sleeping chamber.

"What scares you the most?"
Words coming from none other than her man, interrupted Faith's thoughts, at which point she giggled. She'd always had a special abhorrent place in her heart for girls who giggled, thus she stopped, midway through the giggling fit.

"I thought I answered that already."
She chided Kariya.

"Oh I know, you just want to her it again.
Very well. What scares me the most-"

Faith methodically repeated the same words she'd shared not too long ago. Proceeding, the gentle hands of Kariya rested on Faith's hip. The other hand soon found its way to her chin. It was then that the fiery red hair's eyes drifted back to her man's face. Though no words were uttered, their action spoke volumes...

----A couple of hours later----

Opening his eyes he stared up into the roof for a few seconds before yawning and rubbed his eyes with his hand, yawning slightly when he started to try and get up – but soon froze when he felt a light pressure on his right arm. Turning to see what was causing it he just smilled, seeing that Faith almost used it as a pillow – and that her left hand was holding it. It made him decide against trying to get up, instead Nathaniel turned so he laid in the same direction as she and scooted closer to her, gently brushing away some of the hair around her neck he kissed her there gently – before laying his head down on the pillow and laid his left arm around her waist and let it lay low on her abdomen before he closed his eyes once more.

----The next day----

Nathaniel groaned a bit as he began to wake up, gripping her stomach lightly – opening his eyes he saw the red hair of Faith. Smiling a bit he moved his hand away from her stomach and placed it on his hip, raising himself a bit with his right arm he looked towards the window – almost getting himself blinded by the sunlight as he stared into it. Falling back onto the bed he thought for a moment before mumbling to himself.”So it's morning now huh.” closing his eyes for a moment he chuckled a bit, before he opened them and looked over to Faith again. Leaning over to her he kissed her on the neck once more before whispering.”Good morning.” to her, if she would wake up from that – was another question. But he didn't want to wake her to roughly since she was still holding his right hand in hers.

Unlike the norm, The Initiative Operative awoke bright and early- next to Kariya. His soft affection was well received. A quick glance at the chrono confirmed the hour of day- 0615. Two hours early than she normally would be up.

"Morning,"
She whispered back.

"Sorry about your arm. 'Twas a good pillow."
Cassex chided before sliding out. Soon she made her way into the refresher, cleaned up, dressed and then headed straight to the small dinning area. To her dismay, breakfast wasn't ready. She'd nearly forgotten where she was at, never mind the fact that she didn't have her protocol droid around or her servant.

Not wanting to disturb Kariya, or appear aberrant, Faith gathered her belongings in preparation to head out. "I'm sure there will be a lavished meal waiting for me elsewhere," she thought quietly to herself. Brushing off that thought, she continued gathering her belongings. Kariya's words concerning her allegiance, and the pending Jedi diaspora hit Faith one more time-

"But if you are tired of running, then stop running. Instead of hating the chaos, embrace it and understand it."

The question hang anew in her mind- can she embrace the chaos? or will she continue to run?
