Nathaniel just shook his head a bit when she apologized for using his arm as a pillow.”Don't worry about it.” he had told her as she let go of his arm and got up from the bed, he would be lying to himself if he said that he didn't enjoy the precense of another – or their warmth. He laid there for a minute or so thinking about their meeting, he realized that he had actually been happy to see her again. Even if they had only seen eachother once before, and that time they ha been interupted – he had been happy to see Faith once more. Getting up from the bed he grabbed his undergarmants and put then on before putting on his pants, walking around for a bit searching for his other clothes that Faith had brought with her – finding them soon enough he carried them over his shoulder and walked out of the room towards the livingroom of the appartment.

Seeing that Faith was gathering her belongings he stopped and leaned against the wall, watching her silently for a minute – sighing he pushed away from the wall and walked into the livingroom.”Getting ready to leave Faith?” he asked her as he walked into the room barechested with the shirt hanging over his left shoulder, he didn't want her to leave yet – he wanted her to stay a bit longer at least.

Amidst her packing Cassex detected the the soft footsteps of her man approaching. Even so, she allowed him to think he was unnoticed. About a minute later, he made himself known at which point Faith paused for a moment.

”Getting ready to leave Faith?”
He uttered, albeit dejected.

"Indeed. My men are already wondering about me, since I never gave them the signal..."
Her response was a bit shorter than she'd anticipated. She'd wanted to explain her original intent. The methodical details of the escape, and etc, but she'd forfeited the singular goal that led her here. Why? That remains to be seen.

Running her hand through her long red tress, she inquired.
"Why?"

“I see...”

he didn't say anything at first and instead leaned against the cought, placing his hands as support against the back of it and watched Faith. Smiling fanitly for a second before sighing, once she stepped out of the door and the meeting came to an end. He would be confined to isolation for a month, with no contect allowed in any form.

When she asked him why he shrugged a first.”Guess I just want you to stay a bit longer.” he said and let out a sigh before pushing away from the couch.”Wouldn't you join me for breakfirst perhaps before you leave?” Nathaniel asked her.

"Stay?"
Faith scoffed a bit realizing what Kariya's request means.

"I don't cook. Never had a reason to learn. That's what servants are for."
Turning, the red hair faced Nathaniel.

"Since I don't see any servants around here, I presume you're doing the cooking. If that's true, then yes I'll join you for breakfast. Otherwise, I'll see you when you're release. Or wait-"
Both hands now running through her hair, still wet from her quick shower, she quickly tied it in a make shift ponytail.

"... when The Empire strikes back."

Servants was for spoiled brats who thought themselves to be better then other, in most cases they were worse at what they were doing then the servants was at their jobs – he could have scolded her for saying that.”Sooner or later your gonna have to, even with or without servants.” Nathaniel told her and started to walk over towards the kitchen area.

“That was the point, otherwise I wouldn't have asked now would I.”

Starting to rummage through the drawers for kitchen tools, grabbing a few that he would be able to use in basic cooking at least – placing them next to the sink, but he held onto the knife with his mouth. Opening the refrigerator he glanced over what he could find before settling for some eggs, milk, butter and some form of meat and sausage – not to sure about the sausage though Nathaniel took the knife and cut off a piece and tasted. Nodding a bit to himself before deciding that it was usable, putting down the knife he did so as he had used to while in the field – by basically stabbing it into the ground, but here it just sounded a loud thud when it went into the wood. Closing the refrigerator he turned to the stove and turned it on, quickly getting a pan and put some butter into it before placing it on the stove.

-----10 to 15 minutes later----

Nathaniel wasn't a master chef so to speak, but this was good enough for a breakfirst anyway. A omelette each, one or two slices of meat if you wanted, a few slices toasted bread, butter, cheese and jam if you wanted that – even some coffee.

Before taking a seat Nathaniel motioned for Faith to do the same, once she had taken a seat he would take his seat at the opposite side.”Enjoy.”

”Sooner or later your gonna have to, even with or without servants.”

The red hair wasn't so keen on Kariay's underlying goal, thus she didn't let his comment slide. Shortly upon taking her seat, Cassex pressed for an explanation. At the breakfast table of all places. Oh the poor manners of that woman!

"Excuse my impertinence, but would you care to explain your comments from earlier?"
Faith proceeded to nibble on her mean while she awaited Nathaniel's response.

“Exactly as I said.” Nathaniel said before cutting up a pice of the meat on his plate and eating it, it definetly tasted better then the food that he had been eating the the past month – much better.”Even if you live a life of luxry, and you have everything that you would and could ever want. There are still times when you have to be able to stand on your two own legs, do things with your own two hands, and not rely on other people to do it for you.” explaining it in more detail then he had done earlier, pouring up some coffee for himself he asked her if she wanted some.

“Don't take everything for granted Faith, everything will come to an end sooner or later, when that happens no one is going to be your servant. It's going to be you, and you alone that will have to use your own hands to get the job done.” taking a short pause as he took a sip of the coffee, frowing a bit, seemed as if he had made it a bit to bitter for his taste. But it was still coffee.”That's why you are gonna have to learn sooner or later.”

A temper that sometimes matches the color of her hair, Faith bit her tongue as her man spoke. She had to, as her man carried himself in an manner which demanded respect. Lending credence to his assertion, perhaps a direct result from the extended hours of solitude he'd endured, Kariya further expounded upon his statement.

“Don't take everything for granted Faith, everything will come to an end sooner or later, when that happens no one is going to be your servant. It's going to be you, and you alone that will have to use your own hands to get the job done.”

Dumfounded by Kariya's assertion, Cassex swallowed her toast and then began to give her defense.
"Oh you see, unlike me, my family allegiance is neutral. If it wasn't so dad would never have done business with The Empire and The Alliance simultaneously...

...and don't take this wrong, but unlike most socialites in my circle, I don't think people are disposable."
With that, she thanked the man for the meal and rose to leave....

When Faith rose to leave Nathaniel spoke.“Faith, follow me.” saying with a cold voice that spoke with authority, her walking out of the room without following him first was not an option - both his voice and eyes told her that.

Standing up from his seat Nathaniel walked over to the kitchen are again and searched for a small knife, finding one soon enough he turned to face her if she had followed him – on the contrary of what she might believe, he would not hurt her. Stabbing the knife into the wooden table he held up both of his hands, showing scar tissue on both of his hands at the same places – completely symmetrical.”Did you know faith, that every special forces commando is outfitted with four implants. Two in their left hand, and two in their right hand. One of the implants is a communications device, the other is a small chip that can work as a tracer.” putting down his hands on the table he grabbed the knife with his right hand.”I overwrote the coding in my communication devices so that they can only reach each other, and that the chips trace each other.” when he finished that he pressed the knife against the skin on his left backhand, cutting a slit open – just enough for him to be able to grab ahold of the chip. Removing it he placed it on the table next to his hand, and turned his hand so he showed his palm and cut it at the side. Putting away the knife he pressed a pot on his hand and showed how parts of it lit up, before pulling it out from his hand and placed it next to the chip. Picking up the knife once more he threw it into the sink, as he did Nathaniel grabbed a towel and wrapped around his hand to stem the bleeding. Lifting both the chip and the communication device up he washed them off with some water before putting them back on the table in front of Faith.”Take them with you.”

In lieu of a farewell, Faith was summoned.
“Faith, follow me.”

For what? she had not a clue. Nevertheless, she did the man's biding and followed him. Meandering through the one bed room chamber hall, Kariya led the pair inside the kitchen. She'd never witnessed the cold side of Kariya, thus she quietly followed all the wile thinking of a counter attack, just in case she needed to defend herself. Though Nathaniel's actions thus far has been nothing, but one of s sincere care and even love for the red hair, prepared for the unknown...

Soon Faith found herself - albeit reluctant - next to Nathaniel, in the kitchent. With a knife of all things! At the sight of the kitchen tool turned weapon, Faith bounced into a Jedi ready stance, ready o defend herself with her bare hands! Merely seconds later, Kariya inflicted asymmetrical wound on himself. Dumbfounded, the red hair ex Jedi dropped her arms down, and then moved in closer to the man.Unbeknownst to Faith, Kariya's following actions would be one that alludes to his growing love for her. She watched as he explained himself, and ultimately demonstrating one the kindest acts she'd experienced from him yet.

”Take them with you.”
Kariya demanded, with blooded device still in his hand.

Surprised and thoroughly content, Faith finally broke her long silence.
"You're going to get an infection if I don't fix you up soon."

Cassex quickly collected the device from Kariya, and then set it aside.
"Let me fix that for you."

She concluded while moving in on the hand and attuning herself one with the Force in preparation for the Force Heal process.

When she said that he would get an infection soon if he didn't fix the wound he just looked at her, his eyes showed that he was already aware of that – and despite that he did it. “If it means I'll be able to talk to you, then it's worth it.” he explained to Faith, it was strange wasn't it how a person could change because of another – like how Nathaniel cared for Faith.

He smiled a bit and looked down on the towel that he had wrapped around his hand after she had said."Let me fix that for you."

But he didn't say anything to stop her, instead he just unwrapped the towel from his hand and threw it in the sink where the knife laid already. The moment he had removed the towel from the wounds the blood had started to seep out of the wounds, without the towel to keep pressure on them there was noting to stop the blood.

“Thank you Faith.” he said after a few seconds, his fingers twitching only slightly at first when he felt how it crawled in his skin as it started to heal – it was a strange feeling.”It's really something isn't it, being able to heal injuries without leaving a mark?” watching how the skin repaired itself with the help of the force that Faith summoned.

No wounded man in their sensible mind would refuse an offer to administer healing, thus the ex Jedi was not surprised when she was given the green light. In fact, she'd already begun the leg work before Kariya's affirmative response came forth.

Interestingly enough, complete equanimity overcame the usually truculent ex Jedi. Though only for an hour! During that hour, Faith Cassex employed the Force around her hands, and slowly directed that energy around Nathaniel's bleeding hand! She moved in slow, but methodical circular motion working around the open flap of his skin covering it, and then enforcing the synergy of the Force around the area.

Slowly the skin begun to heal, fresh scent- akin to that of burning skin, assaulted the ex Jedi sense. Even so she kept her focus on the job at hand. The scent magnified as the healing process progressed. Dead skin cells- in the form of tiny flakes- begun to drop off the arm. To the naked eye it appeared as as though Kariya's skin around his arm was shedding. Shedding badly! However, that was merely a sign of completion. The healing process was soon thereafter done.

Finally breaking her silence Faith raised the healed hand! up above, giving her work a thorough examination.
"There, done."

While Nathaniel responded, the ex Jedi did all she could to prevent her body from falling- a residual effect of infusing the energy in her body into Kariya's healing process. Unlike Kariya's hand, the kitchen area still bore scattered blood all over.
"Someone's got a lot of cleaning to do.
My work here is done-"

Later on, wiped the blood off the communication chip, gathered he belongings and then proceeded to leave.
"Take care. I'll see you when I see you. Or who knows? Perhaps the Alliance will release you before the Empire closes in on 'em."

With that, the ex Jedi turned Initiative Operative picked up her bag and then headed out the door. Destination? Her homeworld!

-----------------

Two months after Faith discovered she was due to bear a child. She immediately retrieved from her social circles and went into hiding to keep the news of the pending delivery away from all who knew her, save a few inner circle!

“Won't be me who's gonna clean it.” he said and chuckled a bit when she commented about it needing to be cleaned up, he wouldn't be the one to do it though – probably it would be the staff that would do it, unless they wanted him to spend more time out of his cell. But he doubted that the warden wanted that, seeing as he had already granted him a meeting with Faith, and allowed him to remain outside of the cell for almost a day – just so that he could meet Faith once more.

“Yeah, I'll take care alright Faith.” Nathaniel said as he closed and opened his hands a few times to see that it worked as it was suppose to be, smiling a bit after having opened and closed it a few times satisfied to know that there was no pain and that it was working just like before.”You take care you too Faith.” was the last thing he said before she left the room, he could have said something more he thought – but what ever it had been would probably not sound right to her, at least he thought so.

Once Faith had left the floor which he was on and it had been confirmed, several guards had shown up to secure him – most of them coming into the room with equipment similar to the riot police when they would suppress a riot, expecting him to try and fight them and escape from this prison. Instead they found him sitting in one of the leather chair and just stared out the window, thinking about when he would get to see Faith again. It humored him in a way that he felt this way for her, and he didn't really understand why he had removed two of his implants and given them to her – but then again, he did it because he wanted to be able to talk with her. Even when in his cell, if she used the communicator in the right way and held it against a piece of glass or just clear plastic, they would be able to talk face to face. Turning to face one the guards Nathaniel just looked at them with a bored expression on his face for a few seconds, before turning back to staring out the window.”Time to return to my cell?” he said with a calm tone, some of the guards was surprised that he was so calm about it.”Thats right.” the guard captain said as he walked towards Nathaniel, intent on rendering him unconscious. As the baton fell Nathaniel just exhaled and smiled for a moment before everything went black, after that the guards lifted him up from the chair and cuffed him.

-----Some time later-----

Groaning Nathaniel opened his eyes looked around himself for a few seconds, his head was still pounding from the blow in the room – placing his hand on the back of his skull he rubbed it for a few seconds. At least they had lights in these cells, even though the didn't light up to much, after all it was just only a faint glow of red to light up the room. Standing up walked over to the bed along one of the walls, just a bed an a toilet was all that there was in the room. But hey, he could live three months like this. After all, raising his right hand he stared at it and smiled for a few seconds – he could talk with Faith now if they both wanted to.

-----109 days later-----

It had passed four days since he had gotten out from the isolation ward of the prison, and gotten back to his old cell – it still looked as it had done when he left to meet Faith. And the past three months had been easy to get through when he was able to talk to her, unbeknownst to the guards of course – even if they could hear him talking to himself some times but they would just shrug it of as him going crazy. Still, these past four days Nathaniel had been working on re-writing the code in his communicator once more, just so that he would be able to send out a single message to a friend of his – it wasn't often he needed to ask for help. But after hearing from Faith that he would become a father, at first he hadn't really known how to think of it – though the more they talked about it, the more secure he felt about it. And it made Nathaniel decide to escape, even if he needed to call a friend to do it. Laying in his bed Nathaniel looked at his hand for a few seconds before activating the device that had been implanted in his hand, placing it next to his ear he waited for it to connect – within a few seconds he heard how it connected the call, smiling he spoke.”It's me, I need you to do me a favor.”

~End Thread~
