I'll need to wait for approval of my Indie faction. I may come in late, as it were, I'll make some IC excuse just to be sure.

Alright, sounds good to me. I sent Boli a VM about it as well, especially since he's one of the Jedi Councillors (*Councillors are welcome with their FL's approval), so hopefully some of the unapproved Indi factions are close to being finished.

If the thread continues on to the point where either of you feel like there isn't an opportunity to join, let me know if you'd like to have a separate thread for an individual meeting, if you'd like. It would probably entail most of the same discussions.

*Chiss Council members are welcome to join.

What of the Mandalorians? The Aliit'alors, are we allowed to rub elbows with giants?

I thought the GA/Jedi were already at a pseudo-peace deal with the Chiss and they won't declare war on one another unless one or the other does something to provoke the initiative of war?

I sent the VM to all the FLs and Assistant FLs, but like I said, Council members (clan leaders in your case) can join with the FL's OK.

Technically that was under Radzkie a WHILE back. With Dorann, I've continued to stay away from the GA as long as they stay away from Chiss.
New times call for new meetings, and new declarations. That calls for bringing everyone into the loop and giving everyone a chance to speak in a galactic meeting.

EDIT: To be more clear, I've treated the Chiss with a semi-diplomatic sense. The Chiss haven't engaged in war with the GA is because they want to leave them to battle with the Sith Imperium on their own time. The Chiss focus on total galactic matters, not just the disputes between two of the existing power nations.

However, since the Chiss hold an alliance with the Sith Imperium, but refuse to get directly involved, they have no problem hunting down the Sith's indirect enemies that aide the GA and unbalance the war. The CA's goal is to keep that war in solitude, while managing peace with the rest of the galaxy. That is, if complete peace isn't a reasonable outcome in sight.

If the GA really wants it, Heliel and a Councilor could meet to possible discuss a truce (whether it happens depends on the success of the meeting); pending Zach's approval, of course.

That's what I wanted to know, didn't want any redundancy. :]

Anywho, sure thing, I'll send in Sigur.

Since Lucius in currently having family issues, I'll be dusting off Johann from my Inactives and brinfing him in. In a clearly separated(or possibly whole different post) ill be bringing in Roann as well ro answer questions and help out.
Want to get a slice of the action from both sides xD

Ok, err, glad I could help. But the part you bolded was the past-tense. That's how it's been in the past, but this new meeting is aimed at discussing what the current standards should be. Now, like I was saying to Weiss on MSN about a separate thread for you two, I think that a private meeting between just the GA and CA could be beneficial, but I feel like it would be just as well to welcome the GA/Jedi's presence in the galactic meeting.

Awesome, BN. Looking forward to the Tactical Commander's presence, and Johann's input :D

I don't mind either way.

We can do the one with just Weiss and I or have the Prime Envoy show up to the meeting, or both.

Is this meeting of minds in person or via holo? Because if it is in person chances are killing will occur between hostile factions

In person.
There won't be any killing in between factions, the Chiss will be making absolute sure of that. Everyone attending is either a faction leader or assistance, so we trust that you can keep your character's thirst for blood contained for one peaceful meeting.
And if you can't, well, we have Chiss Immortals to throw you out for that.

Zach, did you send me the VM for my Mando character's possible involvement, or my Sith? Even though they're the same person and all. I assume it was the Mando, since the chances of a Darth and a Jedi Councilor meeting peacefully are pretty slim, but I just wanted to check.

Also, since I'm Mars' number 2, I'll only bring Jon Viggo in if he tells me to/wants me there in his stead

The meeting is for anyone that wants to attend, in person or via hologram. If you choose to physically attend the meeting though, your character and whatever forces accompanying will be required to submit to a security check.

(We can't force you to decide how your character will act, nor would we specifically ask for an OOC ceasefire to prevent combat from happening. If that's the way things unfold, then that's the way things happen, not that there's a thread-rule about conflict. These are the just the IC precautions that the Chiss would take, just as an other character would act realistically in a thread.)

I sen you the VM because of your position as a Sith Lord, but if Corden and Mars are down with Jon Viggo attending to represent Clan Ordo (while A'den represents Clan Fett and speaking on Mandalore's behalf - I guess), then you're more than welcome to.

A'den speaks on the Mandalore's behalf? Since when? If Corden can't be there, one would assume Mars would be the next in line, since you know, he's the next in line and all.

EDIT: Nevermind, just took the time to actually read the thread. Don't mind me, nothing to see here.
