How glancing is 'glancing'? I'd like some more clarification. Considering we have two forces charging against each other, a direct hit would easily lop off a limb.

Moderate to severe burn on a limb or across the back? Something that slows him down but doesnt necessarily put him out of the fight. The Force Repulse it self, due to the nature of the ability, isn't directed but instead explodes all around the person so it's fair to say that him just repulsing around him would throw back your swings enough to avoid a limb removing or torso piercing injury.

Reasonable, but hard to write a post on without padding it with monologue and fluff. I'd suggest having Defiance and Ben agree to the damage, Ben editing his post to reflect it, and have the fight move on from there.

Which course of action was decided on, btw? Rom discussed both the repulse and roll, mentioning that shifting the roll was more feasible. The way you worded your recovery from the roll ("sprung up like a jack-in-the-box") is a bit problematic with the repulse. Since we established that Defiance's saber(s) will connect with a glancing blow, that puts you less than six feet in front of him. If you try springing up from that position, you'll collide with him before making it to your full height. That's pretty tricky to write out since it occurs in Defiance's post.
