Zerath was no stranger to security checkpoints, but for some reason they always made him nervous. Besides the fact that, depending on the thoroughness of the search he could be outed as a Jedi, a small, irrational part of his brain always worried that the people searching him would find something far more illegal than a lightsaber in his possession- even though there was really nothing to be worried about.
As it was, the guards seemed to be confident in their sheer force of numbers, waving them in after a brief visual inspection and a scan of their speeder. Zerath was able to hide both their lightsabers from being discovered with a subtle application of the Force, and soon the Jedi were on the other side of the checkpoint (security pass roll 18/20).
Once past, it didn't take long to locate Trevor Hungsly. The gardener was busy repairing damage to lawn where it appeared that a vehicle of some sorts had cut across it at high speed, damaging the nearly impeccable grass. A quick glance around showed signs of a brief firefight, with blaster marks scorching the pavement and the remnants of a crime scene investigation still present. [This must've been where the kidnapping occurred] he said to Hailee. [What do you notice?] he asked her, holding up his datapad to take photos of the area. Hungsly wasn't going anywhere, so they could take a moment to investigate the crime scene before approaching him; an especially important step considering how little information they had.
