The new Neopaganism seems more like a fad -- not to insult anyone's beliefs but, from an outsider-looking-in, today's neopagans are just anti-establishment Christians
As an antitheist, I find the fanatical wahhabism of the Taliban to be more appealing than Paganism.
Yes....because I am so much worse then someone who is willing to kill thousands of innocents. You say the most retarded and jackass things sometimes you know that?
I'm sorry, but the Taliban are far more interesting as a movement than teenagers with emotional issues.
Oh, I wouldn't worry about that. Paganism doesn't share the more pernicious aspects of Islam and Christianity, so I won't actually bother to argue with you. It simply deserves to be mocked.
Not going to lie, I honestly think Niner and Sheo are just bandwagon jumping. This is literally no reason they should have gone from:
no god at all and staunch athiest -> weekly attending church Catholic -> Pagan
or
Staunch Catholic -> agnostic/athiest? -> Pagan
In a two month window. No way.
And everyone thought you were bandwagon jumping when you said you were gay......
Especially people like you and Sheo who were pretty much extremists in your Catholicism and atheism, respectively.
Ah, now I see how these things turn into fights.
I'm not sure calling anyone an extremist within the confines of religion can be done in a respective manner.
It was just a metaphor to describe how deeply convinced and entwined they were with their now former worldviews.
You just realized? :CStern
Thing is, I like men. And it is normal for those of the LGBT community to conceal themselves. Once I saw others on here did so and nothing bad was said, I did the same.
That said, there is literally nothing out there that should legitimately draw someone into Paganism. Especially people like you and Sheo who were pretty much extremists in your Catholicism and atheism, respectively.
A pretty bad metaphor.
Yup... kids these days. :CHappy
