We just got to wait and see since its only been a day. I though expect at least one cheating scandal, simply cause trump isn't the most loyal of people already. But that's just my only predication, my ability to into the future seems have stopped working....
Was it Jake Tapper who said that a lot of polling agencies are going to be out of work soon?

Personally I just hope we don't get invaded.

I think he has the potential to do good things. The DJT of the last several weeks and last night appeared to be humble and pretty Presidential. I also think he will not be afraid to deal both sides.

If I am wrong, feel free to call me out on it if four years.

Ehh... I expected this, and I personally blame Comey for the outcome. You won't be able to convince me that he wasn't playing politics by publicizing the reopening of the investigation at a crucial moment in the campaign. Is he the only reason? Hardly. But is he a big reason? Undoubtedly, in my mind.

As for whether or not Trump will make a good president... no. Absolutely not. I cannot, for the life of me, picture this man cooperating with our allies on the world stage. Much less delivering a State of the Union Address or addressing the United Nations without embarrassing himself and the nation.

People voted against the status quo. They got their chance to throw their metaphorical brick through the window of the "Elites". But there's a huge difference between throwing that brick, and picking up the mess it inevitably leaves behind. And I highly doubt anyone who voted for Trump took the aftermath into account when they filled out that ballot.

Sometimes the status quo is good. It's stable. It's comfortable, and it's what keeps a country from devolving into the kinds of places we in America watch on CNN every night from the comfort of our living rooms. Am I suggesting things will get that bad in the United States? I don't know, to be perfectly frank. And that terrifies the hell out of me.

For the first time in my life as an American citizen, I'm unsure about the direction, and ultimate fate, of our country.

Not a fan of Trump, feel the Media blew him out of proportion, I wanted Kasich. Going to give him the benefit of the doubt and reserve judgment.

His presidency will likely mean an about face for many social reforms that the US has undertaken that moved us into the direction we needed to move. I am not looking forward to the state of our country in the near future or the damage that could be done permanently by electing backwards people into the SCOTUS.

I am not nearly as afraid of Trump as I am of what Pence may get Trump to do.

America made a decision, that is clear. The decision it made, however, was the wrong one.

Should've voted Danzo for 44th Hokage. Unite the Leaf Village, deport the dirty Uchiha, what's not to love?

Voted for the guy, but not really with the expectation that he'd win. (For clarification, I woildn't have voted Hilary anyways, just for 3rd party) Due to media reports etc, I was expecting Hilary to take this in a landslide, and I definitely did not want her to have a mandate.

Still, I'm not really upset by the results. I can't see him being that bad of a pres, honestly just think it'll be status quo as usual.

I can really only see this being a maintenance of the status quo if Trump had a Congress to check him, which he doesn't. This is going to be a Republican show for the next few years.

I feel old.
Too young? Yes, know of? oh boy do I. Rip Al Gore, he will live on in our hearts and in global warming seminars.

It's no surprise I voted for Trump. The man is going to make some changes and it's gonna be awesome.

We have a Republican president (or about as Republican as Trump can get), we have Republican control of the House and the Senate majority. We're going to appoint some Republican Justices.

All of these Republican majority's simply mean this: there will be change and it will be fast. I think Obama Care will be completely disbanded within the first hundred days. Our military will be expanded and grown.

It's gonna be great.

The sad thing is they didn't. Clinton won the popular vote.

I legitimately did not know that. But, that said, it just reinforces a long held personal belief that our electoral system is completely asinine and should be reworked. I mean, at this point my vote had the same impact as anyone who voted for a third party candidate who never had a snowball's chance.

I knew I should have just written in the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Honestly (I've not read this thread by the way), I've been involved in a lot of elections here in the Uk, and all I can say is this:

Trump Supporters, well done. Remember that a large percentage voted for Clinton however, and the presidents duty is to serve their people, supporters or otherwise.

Clinton supporters, my consolidations. You lost, but democracy is a cruel mistress who rewards and punishes in equal measure. It's hard, but you must work to ensure your voice is heard, win local and senate elections - and above all, respect the office of president, even if you dislike the man who holds it.
