(OOC: Open to all Jedi, Jedi Affiliated, and invited guests of the Jedi of all ranks)

This night is a celebration for all Jedi, whether they graduated, are ending this semester, got initiated, accepted, had a victory. All Jedi are here for a celebration of some sort in one way or another. Tonight's festivities are set up by the Jedi Paddies and Knights assigned and has been opened to those who wish to attend for the great night ahead. The dance floor is surrounded by the seating areas for those who attend, and has a tree in the middle of the dancefloor under the moonlight.

Beverages and refreshments are setup on the sides for the attendees and free to them as well. A punch bowl at each table and a fondue station, as well as a chocolate fountain among other things. The attire that was pushed out in advance was formal wear. Tonight can be a night of romance, luck, or even mischief if the individual wishes it.

As attendees enter a Master stands on the dancefloor and welcomes them in over the wireless microphone bluetoothed to the DJ's set up. "Welcome all! Let us enjoy the night and revel in our latest graduates, and the bringing in of new Jedi. Many things are to be celebrated tonight and I look forward to seeing you all have the night of your lives!" He began making his way to the DJ and would make one last comment. "Oh I almost forgot, games are set up in the courtyard out back and Karaoke will begin shortly for those who wish to show off their talent!" He would then hand the microphone over to the DJ who began playing music for the party.

(OOC: I hope you all enjoy and have fun anyone can dance with anyone! Chaperones are NPCs unless you choose to be one.)

Location: Sernpidal
___T'vani entered the room as the Jedi Master spoke, addressing the gathered Jedi. She had chosen traditional Fiani garments for the occasion, donning an elegant floral-patterned dress inlaid with fanciful filigree and other intricate patterns. T'vani had styled her hair in a ponytail and braids, and she wore various accessories from bracelets to earrings, all of traditional Fiani make. The clothing was mainly comprised of silk and other similar materials, giving her a decadent, almost regal appearance. Fiani clothing certainly didn't lack for craftsmanship!

___Having been to Sernpidal once before in accompaniment with Liana, T'vani was eager to return and see how the citizens were faring. Her cursory inspection in transit here looked like everything was in order, and the people were recovering well. Seeing how the planet had recovered between her visits gladdened her heart, only to make the night even more joyous than the reason she was here tonight.

___T'vani made her way over to one of the seats encircling the dancefloor, sitting on it as she looked around the room. The girl had minimal experience dancing despite all of the festivities involving it on her homeworld, and that aside, she currently needed a partner to dance with since she had come alone. She was content to watch everything unfold around her, a bright, cheerful smile on her lips. T'vani certainly didn't look like she was having a bad time, with or without a dance partner. She was a beacon of happiness about being here at all, and that despite the current happenings in the galaxy, people still found an opportunity to make time to celebrate small things.

Entering the room as smooth as a Loth-Cat, Alhazred held his head high as possible, trying to appear bigger than he actually was. This was one of this first formal occasions amongst the Jedi, and he wanted to appear, for lack of a better term, courtly for it. He certainly had dressed the part. Instead of his typical black Jedi Robes and turban with golden inlay, the Green Nu-Vaal had dressed in his fanciest robes gifted by the Yag'Dhul government from his time working for them as a scholar: Blue robes imported from Zeltron seamsters, touched with golden trimmings and tassels, bound by black leather. On his turban, the same blue but silk cloth was pinned on the front with the golden emblem of his people, one of the few gifts his 'host' parent had given him before maturity.

Instead of habitually adjusting his turban like he always tended to do, Alhazred instead adjusted the flower on his chest. The Millaflower, with its green and painted petals, immediately released a whiff of chemicals into the air around him. Alhazred took a deep breath, letting the aromatherapic qualities wash over him, calming his nerves. While Alhazred had attended many banquets, dinners, and dances before, one hosted by the Jedi was something new to him. He wasn't sure what to expect, but he knew he would be on his best behavior.

Or, mostly best behavior... Alhazred chuckled to himself as he felt in his pocket the small box containing small aerosal sprays of Algarine torve weed. While not strictly illegal, Alhazred wasn't sure what the proper protocol on bringing outside content to a Jedi affair. Alcahol seemed allowed by the Jedi at times, but the guidelines on Euphoriants were a bit more hazy. As an older individual, Alhazred felt like he would be most likely on his own for this occasion, and was prepared to satisfy his senses if that was the case. More than likely, he would find more in common with the chaperones than the other And if a few other Jedi wished to partake in his pleasentries, there was enough Torve Weed to share. If people did get suspicious of him, he could always blame the possible scents on his sweet-smelling Millaflower.

Quietly, after retrieving a cup of punch, Alhazred took a seat only a few places away from another female (@Remileah). Reaching into his pocket, he quietly fished out a spraypod of weed and slipped himself the smallest dosage possible. Immediately, Alhazred relaxed into his seat. Sipping at the punch, he raised a cup of greetings to the young female nearby, should she glance in his direction. He was here to relax and have a good time.

Prom! Oh! Heidi had read so much about prom! A gathering place where everyone can sing and dance, drink and have a good time. It sounded like the bars where she used to perform, but bigger and more formal. And Heidi was thrilled.

It took a few performances and a lot of haggling to get the money she needed for her dress. But there she was, walking through the dance floor entrance, wearing a flowy dress covered in small branches and leaves, with a few flowers here and there to match the sunflower attached to her hairband. Her arms were twitching, as if bubbles of pure excitement were coursing through her muscles and veins. And the brightest smile was painted on her lips.

The dance floor itself was more beautiful than she could have imagined, much fancier than anything she'd ever danced on. The tree was absolutely stunning in the moonlight, swaying gently in the wind. And feeling some nature with which she could connect helped to calm her nerves. But she couldn't just stand there staring at a tree for hours, no matter how much she enjoyed hearing its whispers through the Force. She came here to dance, sing karaoke, and, most importantly, socialize with other Padawans.

Although she had no clue where to start, and most Jedi were still joining. So, for the time being, the Fiani looked around the area, looking for something to eat. Her wide green eyes widened even more at the sight of the chocolate fountain, and she was standing in front of it in a matter of seconds. Chocolate. Just what she wanted. She skewered a strawberry and dipped it into a stream of chocolate, her gaze darting from left to right, checking to see if anyone else wanted one. "Anybody some chocolate fruit?!" Her large red ears danced excitedly as she asked.

Scorpio would make entrance adorning a more formal set of his Luka Sene Attire with lavender trim and posies upon his collar and coat. He would make his way down the stairs toward the center ballroom, alone, nervous, and pretty unknown by most of his fellow Padawans and Chaperones. And yet he barely shown it as he reached the bottom of the steps and took to the left toward the punch bowl. Taking a sip, he listened attentively and proudly to the Master's words and resounded in the cheers that would likely follow.

As most folks OOCly knew already that Gemini and Scorpio were brothers, Scorpio being the oldest, some would likely already suspected that the apple didn't fall too far from the tree. So, it wouldn't be surprising that Scorpio held a fondness for medicinal herbs and actually had a garden of it growing in his room at the academy. Mostly Marcan, but there were other herbs as well. Pulling out two vials of its leaves, crushed into a fine powder, secretively spiked the punch bowl with them before twirling it a bit and refilling his cup. After all, tonight was a night of celebrations, and Scorpio wanted to see them truly celebrate. Plus the pain killers they had him on could be a scapegoat.

Walking away from the brewing batch of Marcan Punch, cane in hand to hold him steady after his return from the field trip. Taking a seat within talking distance of a strange alien species he had never seen before @Narzen, he outstretched arm and offered up his hand. "HI. I'm Scorpio.

Scorpio was a genuinely happy fellow, with a kind heart and expressional face. Most moments were fleeting and Scorpio had always held a tendency live in the moment. Because of that, he was an open book to be read, and he showed his emotions without a second thought. So when Scorpio offered his hand, it was in genuine welcoming. And it radiated in his presence. "It's nice to meet you. I'm a recent arrival. Got here a few months back. What about yourself?"

Scorpio only held one true intent from view. Tatooine had left its scars, as did the Field Trip. But when he left Tatooine behind, he planned to start anew here in the Jedi. And he had only met a handful of the Jedi, none of which had to spark up a bond as of yet. Scorpio knew he needed to spread his wings more and make new friends. But here, at the Academy, life was different than before. It was still an adjustment.

For once Natalie was actually dressed up. Between Theia's love of dressing up and Ezra's constant quips about her robes, Natalie thought she would get something nice for once. What better way to showcase the dress that she totally didn't steal from an angry man on G'wenee than to wear it to a Jedi formal. Of course she didn't exactly have the best track record with formals, considering her actual prom back on Ord Mantell ended with her boyfriend at the time in a punch bowl and puke in her hair once he woke up.

The music was not her jam at all, but it was a classic all the same. The punch bowl! Ah... her old friend indeed. One quick sip from the cup she had filled, and it was pretty clear someone had beaten her to spiking it. Just going to fill the cup back up and make sure to keep coming back. With a few cups of spiked punch in her, maybe this party wouldn't be so bad after all. Though she was starting to understand why Mr. Jawline b-lined it in the opposite direction when Padawans were involved. It was like the shin-kickers were multiplying.

She found a nice little nook in directly line of sight with the holy punch bowl. It was odd that Theia hadn't arrived yet. Normally Theia would be all over something like this. Probably would have a date for it too, if that dumb zabrak bitch didn't try stealing the date away first. Where was that horny piece of- NO NATALIE. Jedi don't hunt down other Jedi at formals. And just like that her internal self was screaming at her yet again. Mr. Jawline had done a serious number on her "going to hell" attitude. Big, dumb, beauti- NATALIE!

A swig of spiked punch later, and all that non-sense was pushed deep down into the pit of I'm-going-to-just-resurface-at-every-inopportune-time-possible that Natalie kept deep in her mind. See you again never, confusing thoughts. Actually, more like see you again in ten minutes. But it was going to be a great ten minutes.

This wasn’t really an occasion that Armen would go to, usually. However, he had gotten an invitation and had nothing better to do so he came along to the prom.

It wasn’t that he was a shy guy, or hated celebrating, considering similar activities like that one fair with Quin Leonkri. Still, wouldn’t this just be a bunch of silly dancing? Surely it wouldn’t be about getting drunk or drugged. Jedi weren’t idiots, right? Even Padawans?

Well, here was Armen, still a Padawan at age twenty-one, so he really didn’t have much ground to stand on. He wasn’t standing anyhow.

Sitting at a table with a cup of punch (not spiked, thank you very much), dressed in a black suit, white shirt and no tie, thank you. He listened to the Master’s speech.

Night of our lives. Armen wouldn’t be someone who interrupts the fun. Despite his indifferent demeanor, he enjoyed punch as much as fondue and chocolate. Dancing? Singing? We’ll see.

For now, he glanced around, spotting a blue turban and a flowery dress whose owner then said something about fruit at the chocolate fountain.

Strawberry skewered, at least one of her viewers figured there was no better time like this moment to get some chocolate so Armen got up. “Hi,” he greeted simply to the Fiani (@LilyNion). “Nice. Bright.”

Armen cleared his throat, less in nervousness, more in a need to clarify. “That sunflower on your headband, I mean. It’s neat.” He sunk his teeth into chocolately strawberry. “Shit. This is delicious.”

Marcus paused at the entrance of the room, taking in the sight. Not too long ago he would've been there as a padawan, everything felt all too familiar, yet so distant. The Jedi Academy Prom was a long-awaited event for every young Jedi Padawan, and even the knights and masters. As Marcus entered the grand hall where the Prom was being held, he couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment and gratitude.

Clad in the formal silver attire of House Voss, of New Alderaan, the gold trim on his collar shining in the lights of the grand hall. Throughout his early life he'd gone to plenty of such functions, though as a representative of his family, here, he was just a man looking to dance and enjoy his night away from studies.

The Prom was a time for relaxation, celebration, and unity, where Knights and Padawans alike could set aside their training and immerse themselves in the camaraderie of their fellow Jedi. Marcus had grown close to many of his fellow Padawans during his training, and he was excited to reconnect with them and celebrate this milestone together.

Jedi from all different walks of life were present, and as he made his way through the crowd, greeting his familiars and even strangers, his piercing blue eyes softened at the pleasantries of the evening. Marcus couldn't help but feel a sense of fulfillment and contentment. He had reached this milestone at a young age, and it was a testament to his dedication and the faith his Masters had placed in him. Enough of that though. It was time to enjoy.

Spotting a young woman sitting at a seat on the edge of the dance floor, and after a moments pause, he made his way to her. As he approached her, he held out his hand and beckoned to stand from her seat. "Marcus Voss, pleasure to meet you, and who might you be?"

Akio heard of some kind of party sponsored by the Jedi. It was called a prom or something like that all he knew about it was that it was a formal event. He hated dressing up but rules were rules and the Jedi were full of those. Before heading to the venue he borrowed a suit from his father and wore it to the event.

As he made his way in to the venue his eyes lit up. He quickly scanned the room his ears were swiveling around and his tail was swaying back and forth quickly. The dancefloor had a tree in the center with tables and chairs surrounding it. The ceiling had a hole to allow some moonlight to shine in. He didn't even care about the event currently he was drawn to this new area.

He was drawn out of his wonder by the Master's announcement. This made him look around to the Jedi currently present. He was shocked to see two other Fiani. Since joining the jedi he had few chances to speak his native tongue. He looked around for an empty table near the others. Taking a glass of (currently) unspiked punch and taking a sip of it. He sat down his tail swaying to the music as he hummed along. He was simply content to be somewhere new.

Me: Ma! There's a Jedi prom!
Me: I need your help.
Me: Please?
Ma👑✨: wdym?
Me: I need a fit!
Ma👑✨: ok. but none of those punk vibes of urs if ur doing this w me. u asked 4 my help, u follow my taste.
Me: Okay! 😄💕

Hiraya had never been to prom before. The one time he almost did, he had to back out because Ma was feeling down and lonely, missing Pops because he went on a trip. It was easy to ditch the joint and pop back home to watch scary movies and eat junk food with his Mama, and of course he did not regret it in the slightest.

Now, though?

The Tiefling strode into the place with the swagger of a humble troublemaker, a bright grin on his face as he took in the sights and people before him. Dressed in the Fiani-inspired suit (sans the sunglasses – who wears sunglasses at night? He wasn't a secret agent! Or a bodyguard!) his Ma chose for him, Hiraya felt like a million credits because even his Pops approved of his attire with a rare, mischievous smile. There was not an ounce of vanity in the Padawan's demeanor, and while others moved with care so as not to muck up their suits and dresses so early in the evening, Hiraya was the complete opposite.

(But of course that did not mean that he wasn't mindful of his clothing. His Ma would have his hide for having wrinkled it even before the prom started.)

Tail wagging happily behind him and horned head nodding in time with the music's beat, Hiraya waved energetically at the four Padawans (@Remileah, @Narzen, @Mythos, @Woven) seated off to the side. "Hi!" he greeted them cheerfully, making a mental note to interact with them later – more so the white-haired Fiani (she did great during her Trials!).

The Jedi Master's announcement soon caught the energetic Padawan's attention. A karaoke? The Jedi Order did karaoke?! Oh, boy. It looked like they were off to a good start!

With the promise of a song or two to be belted out later, Hiraya glanced at the buffet table where another Fiani Padawan – who was then joined by a dark-haired boy – asked if anyone cared for fruit dipped in chocolate.

Of course he did!

Bumbling off towards them, Hiraya stopped beside the diminutive Jedi with a fanged grin that rivaled the brightness of Tatooine's twin suns.

"Hi!I'dlikesomepleasethankyoukindlyI'mHirayawhat'syournameIbetthispromisgonnabelitwhatdoyouthink?" he greeted both his fellow Padawans in one sudden burst of breath, his tail wagging in time with each rapidly spoken word.

Laura began to suspect the Knight who pushed her into being here tonight was lying when they had called it mandatory. Figures, they knew she wouldn’t attend otherwise. The Anzat Padawan shuffled in, immediately heading to an empty corner. Looking around, she felt underdressed in her simple (and slightly frayed) navy suit. Her pale brown hair, hardly more colorful than her skin, was tied up slightly neater than usual.

As much as just being here conflicted with their practice of avoiding people as much as possible, Laura had to admit: They were impressed with the setup. The tree was a beautiful centerpiece to the dance floor and the food looked delicious. And there were games? Laura started to relax a bit. Nothing bad was going to happen tonight, no matter what her mind told her.

Of course, she could just turn around and leave, but that would mean admitting to herself that she had spent the last two hours fretting in front of a mirror about whether her already retracted proboscises were visible, only to leave after two minutes and without talking to anyone. People wouldn't care anyway. But what if they did? Or what if they didn't but they should have? Before the Anzat Jedi could delve any further into her own anxiety, she shook herself and moved out of the corner before a Master or Knight could come check on her.

Now she had the choice of where to go. Looking around, she had the awkward moment of realization that she had no idea who most of these fellow Padawans were. She guessed she really had kept to herself all these years. In an attempt to look like she knew what she was doing and belonged here, Laura went to the fondue table, grabbed a plate and an assortment of fruits as well as a beverage which she sincerely hoped was not spiked.

She sat down near the back of the hall, towards the courtyard and away from the music. She intended to wait there for a while, maybe see what games were outside, unless something from inside called her attention.

___As Alhazred (@Narzen) sat near T'vani and regarded her with a raised cup, the girl smiled and inclined her head towards him. His was a face she didn't recognise, and shortly after, Scorpio sat down next to him to begin talking with him. He was another person she didn't know, but as they now appeared engaged in conversation, T'vani believed it would be rude to interrupt. Her attention returned to the floor, only to be pulled away by someone else approaching (@Woven) and speaking to her directly.

___"It's nice to meet you, too!" T'vani chirped happily. The girl looked at the offered hand, momentarily confused by the gesture. Was he offering to dance with her? "I'm T'vani," she answered as she reached out to take his hand and rise from her seat. As she stood to her full height, she looked up at Marcus, realising just how much taller than her he was! The man was a full head taller than she was, and internally, T'vani could only hope the difference in their height wouldn't compound with her inexperience dancing.

___"I haven't really danced a lot before," she confessed with a nervous chuckle. "Sorry if it's awkward," T'vani finished, her ears perking up as she cast a sidelong glance towards Hiraya (@marshland) as he greeted her before he left for the buffet. Her attention returned to Marcus.

To be honest, Heidi didn't expect the Jedi to take her up on her offer. But when she saw two Padawans join her at the table, she couldn't help but smile as brightly as Tatooine's suns.

The first to join was a shyer, almost nervous-looking boy with raven black hair. She eagerly extended the skewer towards him, her free hand already grasping one of the empty skewers in preparation for making a new one. Although she froze in her movement, the compliment caught her off guard. Her empty nimble and small hand reached up for the sunflower, a single finger tracing over one of the petals before she looked at the Padawan, timidly but gratefully. "Thank you so much! It's my most favorite thing to wear, I only take it off to clean it or sleep in it! Or for combat lessons I suppose." She was sent out the last time she wore her sunflower hairband to class. Hardly fair if you were to ask her.

"I like your suit. The lack of tie fits you well!" She returned his compliment. Sure, his suit was simple, but she couldn't imagine something more bombastic fitting the boy. After one more smile, the second Padawan appeared, carrying the energy of a hurricane.

Heidi blinked at him, clearly trying to decipher what he was saying. Yes, he wanted some of the chocolate fruit. He introduced himself as Hiraya. He hoped the night would be lit (to which she hoped it wouldn't be lit, because fire wasn't fun for a prom), and her own opinion on it. She giggled as she skewered another strawberry and dipped it into the chocolate. "Nice to meet you Hiraya, I'm Heidi!" For a brief moment, she fixed her gaze on the other boy. "What's your name?" Regardless of what he said, she returned her attention to Hiraya.

"Well, I think the prom will be a lot of fun! There's karaoke and some games, I've heard. So I can't really complain!" Her fangs shone brightly in the many lights as she grinned, her long tail swooping over the floor excitedly. "Here!" Heidi handed the chocolate-covered strawberry to Hiraya before glancing around.

"Hmmmm. How do you both feel about heading to the courtyard? Maybe see if we can join a game?"

Marcus took a quick glance around the room as he took in the rest of the crowd, so many young padawans he didn't know, of course his fellow recent graduates were also in attendance, and he looked forward to connecting with them. For now however, his attention was focused on the Fiani before him (@Remileah )

As the padawan took his hand and stood at her full height, he smirked at the height difference and the Fiani's slight nervousness. "Well T'vani, may I have this dance?" After another quick glance at her, "and might I add, you look stunning." Its true, not just her attire, but her eyes too, he'd never seen any like them. Almost burgundy, they were rather alluring. Marcus honestly couldn't say if he'd met many Fiani, which was odd considering the vast number of people he's met.

"Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it." A smile played across his lips at her nervousness. He never truly appreciated what life was like when he could simply enjoy it without the threat of his studies and tests. Marcus followed T'vani's glance towards a padawan he was again, unfamiliar with (@marshland ), but gave him a nod of acknowledgment nonetheless. Turning back towards T'vani, he stepped aside and motioned towards the dance floor. "Shall we?"

Come to think of it, though Armen wouldn’t wear the sunflower himself, he could see someone else only taking it off to clean it or sleep in it. It was cool. It was big.

She was small, if not quite a kid. A teen, maybe anywhere from thirteen to sixteen, so hopefully nobody would get too rude in this setting. Apparently spiking the punch was one thing but they were still Jedi this night.

“Oh. Thanks.”
Armen’s tone could not have been more nonchalant. It was easy to mistake his person for nervous or shy, but the truth was that this guy was just blase about most things in life, and his responses tended to show it. “Ties are tight. ‘Least I got the jacket and shirt right. So whatever.”

Was it formal attire? Well it got him in amid fancier apparel which just wasn’t his desire. Just then, someone else wanted a taste of the chocolate fountain and who could blame him? Dang. That guy spoke so fast like he had already had plenty of spice for the evening.

“Armen,” Armen introduced and chewed, looking between the two. Fiani. Tiefling. If one thing was missing from this scene then it was definitely the Human’s tail but oh well. Heidi offered Hiraya and Armen a trip for the courtyard to which the latter answered.

“I’m game.” What games? Hopefully they had cornhole or whack-a-mole. Slug-throwers? Like at that fair. Heck yeah. It had been a bit of a minute since then and, whatever was on offer tonight, even Armen could have fun—as much as a distraction from this fountain.

“What do you feel like playing, Hiraya?”

When Kaedan found out about the Jedi prom, it didn’t take him long to decide if he was going or not. The first problem he had was figuring out what he was going to wear. That was something that he would have to decide on in the early. Ultimately, he wanted something that didn't seem too outlandish. He also wanted to feel comfortable and free.

The next thing he needed to worry about was if he was going to go to the event alone or take someone with him. He had an idea of a person he wanted to ask. He was kind of nervous about asking her though. He never had to do this before so it was a bit jarring. Even so, she was his friend and that meant that it should be fine. Taking out his EZPhone, he opened the messages app and pondered on what he was going to say. After five minutes of simply staring at the screen, he decided to type a few words. He asked her to meet him somewhere in the temple and when they did meet up, he had a smile on his face. "There is the Jedi Prom coming up. Would you like to go with me?" @Charndley

Eventually, Kaedan found the outfit he wanted to wear and got it ready. After all, it was a prom and everyone was probably going to be dressed to the nine, even Alienor.

9a7b48b2f4f093b74790abf9a1ddbf82.png
On the day of the event, Kaedan got dressed and met with Linny. He smiled, seeing her in her dress. "You look really nice, princess." Ever since he found out about her aristocratic status, he started to tease her by calling her princess. "Let's get going before we miss the shuttle." Offering her his hand, Kaedan escorted her to the shuttle and they rode it to the planet and location of the Prom.

As they file in, Kaedan heard the master who was standing on the dance floor speak. He walked in noticing a few others who were there. He recognized T'vani from her trial and Natalie whom he was more acquainted with. "So, have you been to event like this one before?" He wondered if Linny had experiences with events like this since he didn't really have that experience.

Keck was going to be on his best behaviour.

That was what Elenath (@Vosrik ) told him, anyway. This event was very fancy, and the friendly Echani was nice enough to give Keck some advice beforehand. Wear nice clothes. Don't throw food. Be extra-extra nice to people. Don't bring extra food, there is enough already there. Don't be too noisy. Don't climb on anything. Don't drink too much punch. How do you drink a punch? Don't get into a fight, probably. It sounded like an awful lot to remember all at once, but the banana-yellow Jedi was confident everything would be fine. Keck didn't see Elenath's cringe of dread after they shook hands.

Having acquired some nice-looking youngling-sized robes from laundry (they were a tad too big), Keck of course was ecstatic over the huge spread of snacks, piling his plate high with goodies. But then he remembered! Best behaviour. Right. He put some food back.

Clutching his food, Keck grabbed a nearby bowl and dunked it in the pinkish slime soup at the end of the table. Taking a sip, however, he was surprised to discover it wasn't slime soup at all, but some kind of very sweet juice mix. He couldn't help but down the rest of it; how could this miracle liquid be cold but make you feel so warm on the inside? Fascinated, Keck went and refilled his bowl right away.

Waddling past a group of other Jedi, he caught sight of the white-haired one that had just challenged the trials recently (@Remileah ). What was her name? V'tani? Keck's head was getting a bit fuzzy; he couldn't quite remember. But he should be extra nice today! Elenath said so. Stopping himself from dashing over and spilling his food, the amphibian instead hovered nearby, offering a big stupid grin. "Congrass Tani! Padawan now!" He squeaked excitedly. But not too excitedly.

Keck was going to be on his best behaviour.

___"Oh! Thank you," T'vani replied, flustered by Marcus's (@Woven) sudden compliments. The girl offered the man an awkward but appreciative smile, nodding as he reassured her that she would become accustomed to dancing. Before they could make their way to the floor, Keck (@Shalken) approached, speaking to T'vani to compliment her on her ascension to Padawan. She shot Marcus an apologetic glance before turning to face Keck. It was then she noticed just how many people were starting to arrive!

___"Thank you, master. It's very nice to meet you," T'vani said, offering the Knight a respectful bow. "I am a Padawan now, and I promise I'll do my best to ensure I uphold the Jedi Code to the best of my abilities. I want to make everyone proud," she continued. He may have fumbled her name, but she was unbothered by it, still smiling as bright as she had been before. T'vani stood straight and returned to Marcus, offering her small hand again.

___"You may, kind sir," she giggled. "I'll, um, let you lead the way!" T'vani never really danced before tonight, so she didn't know where to go or what to do. It was better to let Marcus lead while she followed.

Drexus was with L'Veth at a training session and decided to pull her to the side to ask a question he had thought about for a couple days. "Hey," he took a breath then looked at her with a cocked eyebrow, "I was thinkin, maybe you could go to this Prom thing with me?" The Zabrak would have waited for the answer but he instead decided to hand her an invitation and smirk, "Get a nice dress, I was thinking something with blue. It's definitely your color." With that he would walk away and wait until after they had their outfits picked and ready to go.

----Time Skip----

It was time to pick L'Veth up and bring her to the Prom. Drexus decided tonight should be fun, so he rented a Flying Limo and a driver. Once the Limo found its way to L'Veth's dorm building and parked Drexus would pull up his EZPhone and text L'Veth
<Your chariot awaits.>

When she would come out she would see Drexus exit the Limo's back door in his Prom Suit ready to bring her to the festivity.
"Hey, you look.. great." He didn't know how to compliment people's looks as well as most but he meant what he said. "Let's get goin." He would open the door for her and hop in after. The Limo would begin making its course to the venue where the other Jedi have seemingly beat them to.

"Seems we got beat here." He would get out and hurry around to open the door for her on the other side. His mother told him that women like when a man opens doors for them so, here he was. Thanks mom! Drexus shut the door as soon as she got out and would stick out his arm for. "Shall we?" His eyes set on her until she either accepted or denied. Then he would carry on forward with his Prom date. This was his first Prom so he didn't know what to expect when he got there, but he was definitely surprised by the venue. It was gorgeous.

"Jedi should do this more often.."
he let out lightly and then let a small smile creep out. He'd look at her, "So I've never danced before. Haven't had much time for that.." He wasn't sure how to ask someone to do nor how to do the dance either. It looked simple for the people just teetering side to side. But he didn't want to just teeter side to side the whole time. He saw a video of spins and dips. They looked fun. But he was going to test the waters here, "I'd like to figure it out. With you if you want."

Hiraya's pointed ears visibly perked up when the two other Padawans – Heidi and Armen – didn't seem to be deterred by his word vomit of a greeting. It was obvious that the Fiani had to decipher his words, so the young Tiefling was made cognizant of his manner of speech and became mindful when he opened his mouth again.

"I'm sorry I got too fast for a sec!" he apologized with an awkward chuckle, one hand rising to gingerly rub the back of his head. Accepting the proffered treat, Hiraya carefully took a bite, letting out a delighted little hum at the sweetness that now coated his tongue. "Thank you, Heidi!"

His tail was still wagging happily as he turned to glance at Armen, crimson eyes bright with barely concealed anticipation. "I don't know what games they have out there, I haven't checked yet... so I don't know!" he answered with a grin, unfazed by the dark-haired Padawan's indifferent demeanor.

Finishing up his sweet, Hiraya licked the smudge of chocolate on his fingers, sprayed disinfectant on his hands and wiped them clean with a napkin offered to him by a passing serving droid (he didn't want to touch anything with sticky fingers), then moved as if wanting to put a hand each on his fellow Jedi's shoulders but decided at the last second because he hadn't asked for consent. Instead he settled for making a gesture towards the courtyard, bright and friendly smile still plastered on his face.

The karaoke could wait, he mentally reminded himself. For now, he would have fun playing games with Heidi and Armen!

The long tails of his coat swished behind him alongside his tail as he stepped towards the courtyard, mindful to keep his long-legged stride at pace with his new acquaintances. Hiraya's gaze swept at the games and booths set up in the area, before his ruby eyes alighted on a fancy claw machine. A Jedi Knight stood in front of it, trying her luck instead of chaperoning the Padawan assigned to her. Beside the claw machine was a guessing booth, and… was that a balloon dart board?! Hiraya chuckled as he looked around. Why were there carnival games in a prom?

Still, he would not complain. He didn't even comment and simply accepted that there were games set up for the prom. Unable to contain his excitement, Hiraya momentarily forgot his manners and took one of Heidi's hands in his, while placing a hand on Armen's shoulder.

"Let's try the claw machine first!" he declared enthusiastically. The Jedi Knight made way for the three Padawans with a reminder of 'no using the Force to win prizes!' Hiraya was a bit affronted by the reminder, honestly – where's the fun in cheating?
