Badass wasn't quite the word to describe Heidi's feelings as Hiraya began to pull her upwards. What she felt was bigger than that. The lights of the arcade flashing down on her, her dress dramatically falling down only thanks to grativity, the pose she was in that she imagined had to look cool—Although in reality she was clinging to the rope for dear life looking as graceful as a pug—combined with the knowledge she succeeded? Yes, she felt like the ultimate warrior.

It didn't take long for Heidi to get humbled, because she hadn't heard Hiraya's warning to watch her head. A metallic BONK followed by a little"ouch" rang through the air in a matter of seconds, and Heidi saw nothing but stars. Thankfully, she was able to hold on to the rope and Hiraya wasn't pulling too quickly, allowing her to correct herself, shake the stars away and make it through the opening without further damage.

Released from the confines of the glass walls, Heidi crawled up on top of the machine and inhaled a deep breath of fresh air. She looked around, noticing the two servers leaving, muttering about reporting them to the council. One of the two seemed to turn around, looking straight at Armen with such hopeful eyes. And that was all it took for Heidi to realize what was going on: the server had feelings for him! Armen was a womanizer! Good for him! Oh! Maybe she should help them! Set up a date for them?

Heidi's attention danced to Hiraya not long after, who cheerfully told her to jump and that he'd catch her. "Okay Hira!" She replied just as cheerfully. She bent her knees before leaping into the air and falling straight into Hiraya's arms. In retrospect, she assumed he meant a graceful fall rather than a full on jump, but as she collided with him into his arms, she was giggling happily, her voice sounding almost like little bells.

Linny's cheeks burned bright pink as Kaedan expressed compliment after compliment. Not just called her great, which was very sweet of him. It was the pretty part that got her. Her eyes went wide as she looked at him, unsure of what to say. Did he really mean that? She had to look away, before she turned redder than the punch.

"Thanks," she muttered quietly in response, before her brain shorted out any further conversation.

They made their way to the floor and danced, Linny following his start. He a little nervous, so she held his hands a little tighter and started to lead in a simple style of waltz that she remembered from back home. It took a couple of moments for them to get into the rhythm of things, and for Linny to work out how to lead when Kaedan was easily taller and stronger than her, but she managed.

Kaedan thanked her for coming to the prom with him and she smiled up at him. "Linny," she said, "Call me Linny. It's what my friends call me." And Kaedan was most definitely one of her friends. She felt content as they danced, resting her head against her date's chest.

Crap. That Chevin distraction was Armen’s best tactic. So he just stood there staring like an idiot as both servers stared back at him. Shoulda checked the guest list.

He caught their looks like ‘what’s up with those other two donuts’ but he could only shrug, more in nonchalance than innocence.

Suddenly the servers began debating over whether to punish or praise. “Yeah. Fish. That’s exactly what it is.” Armen nodded, glancing at the status of his companions.

When he looked back, that chick had all but flashed him a wink. That made him think. Hmm.

Smoothing fingers through his hair, he struck an even more casual pose, twisting his lips over the stick between his teeth.

“You don’t wanna report this, babe,” Armen grinned. “You wanna have a drink with me and take a break.”

The woman blinked back. “Well see about that.” Half-teasing, half-who-you-callin’-babe?

Crap. Shoulda waved my hand. Just then, Heinz landed in Hiraya’s arms as the servers walked off. Oh well. He tended to forget his own master’s name anyway.

“So, did you get it?” For all this trouble, well, this girl hopefully had gotten the dumb Chevin plushy or something.

Placating Armen's woman: 7/20

Some food and conversation later and another player had taken to the stage, either pushing others out of the way or waving them over to her. She takes the center and cries to the audience, smiling wide.

“ALL ABOOOOOAAAAAAAAAARD!!”

Glad that her outfit fits the music, a cymbal taps from the speakers as drums steadily erupt in full. She nods, bobs her head, shoulders swaying, getting into it, then Leh’Min’Ayd offers her heart to the guitar!

At first, it's just music, hard and thumping, pumping. Eyes closed, taking a moment, the Togruta forgets she even has an audience, that she's even a Padawan. Jedi? No. Just a kid, just a teen, loud and proud of it, better believe!

Then comes the singin'!

“Crazy, but that’s how it goes!
Millions of people living as foe-o-woah-o-oes!
Maybe it’s not too late!
To learn how to love!

And forget how to hate!”

The song wraps around Leh’Min’s countenance, singing passion into the lyrics!

"Mental wounds not heeeeaaaaling!
Life’s a bitter shaaaaaame!
I’m going off the rails on a crazy traaaiiin!

I’m going off the rails on a crazy traaaiiin!"

Leh’Min’Ayd begins to pace across the stage, rocking away, headbanging! All alone? Doesn’t care. Riding the crazy train anyway!

Kaedan noticed the blush on Alienor's face when he told her that she was great, pretty and kind. She looked away while telling him thanks. He smiled even if she wasn't looking. "You're welcome."

He led her to the dance floor and let her lead them off. While he was nervous, she gave his hand a squeeze which helped him to relax and become more confident in the dance. He thanked her for coming to the prom with him and she looked up at him and smiled. However, she corrected him in a sense. She told him to call her Linny as it was what her friends called her. "Linny it is."

As they continued to dance, Kaedan felt more and more confident. He smiled at her. "So, for this Festival of Wind, will I need to master the art of dancing? If that is the case, I don't mind taking a few classes with you until I am ready." Not only would it be a good chance to learn how to dance, he would be able to learn more about her culture. The last thing he needed was to do something wrong there.

Hiraya watched carefully as Heidi disembarked from the claw machine, managing not to wince when he heard the faint
'thump!' that signaled her hitting her head on the machine's metallic roof. Now out of the machine, the Fiani's cheerful confirmation only made Hiraya's smile widen.

And then she jumped.

"Oomph!" exclaimed the Tiefling as he caught her as best as he could. Arms full of one bright Fiani with her happy and infectious giggling, Hiraya could not help another round of delighted laughter from bubbling up his throat. Making sure that he was holding her firmly and securely, the Padawan shot his fellow Jedi a mischievous smile before spinning the two of them around in one fluid but rapid motion. He could not help it, she was so giggly and smiley, and he lived for people who displayed such happiness without restraint!

Planting his feet more firmly on the ground once more, Hiraya carefully set Heidi back on her feet, his face flushed with energetic delight. So focused on his impromptu rescue, he totally missed the interaction between Armen and the servers- oh, the pair were already walking away! Did Armen manage to distract them?

Looking between his fellow Padawans, Hiraya then peeled himself off of Heidi then stuck his hand in the prize chute. "Let's see what Heidi got!"

Clawed hand closed around one plushie. Pulling it out revealed that it was a loth cat. Tucking it under one arm, Hiraya reached again... only to pull out a Porg. No, they wanted the stupid Chevin-

As Hiraya pulled the third plush, a wide, triumphant smile appeared on his face. Holding the third plushie up for both Armen and Heidi to see, the Tiefling excitably yelled, "Got it! Look!"

The Chevin plush, a little deformed from being squished too much, seemed to look up at the other two Padawans with a doleful smile. Hiraya thrust it onto Armen's chest, willing the older Padawan to take it, before he looked at Heidi. "Did you get the shiny?"
