Mine is in a week. No date (obvious reasons), I am going with a group of friends and ladyfriends. Anyone else got one coming up?

Nope. I never went to a prom before, never had a reason to either. Have fun though.

Aw man, I was hoping you could tell me some good dance moves. :(
I don't think I've danced seriously before in my life. And even if I wanted too go to a prom, it would have been a problem anyways since none of the schools I attended ever had a prom night.

I never thought I'd go to prom, but I did. Not my own school's though. I went to my best friend's prom. Us and our dates had fun. And the after party was fun.

Home schooled, though even when I was in public, I didn't do proms.

We don't call them Proms in NZ, we call them Senior Formal Balls and I went to mine about 7 years ago now. It was fun. Here's a tip for you: don't piss off the slightly angry Red-head girl by implying you have hidden cameras in her bedroom like I did. She will spend the rest of the night chasing you, trying to kick the crap out of you, while all the guys cheer you on because they think she is chasing you for an entirely different reason.

I probably wont go to mine. Things like that really dont interest me at all. I might end up going next year though, even though Ill be out of highschool. As I dont want my girlfriend to have to miss her senior prom.

It's not really a big thing here, theres like parties every weekend. It wouldn't really be all that different for us.

I HATE REDNECK AMERICANS... so much.

Oh yeah, some guy in Wal-Mart told me only North Louisiana was redneck. He said South Louisiana was coonass. That helps a lot.

Thats what I was all about back then, quick-witted, dirty remarks like "Thats not what you said last night!" :CHappy:

Nice. You must have been quite the animal 7 years ago.

Of course. The guys all wanted to laugh at my remarks and the girls all wanted to slap me! Good times. :CHappy:

We don't call it prom in Aussie land either, well, all the schools I've been to don't. There was a year 11 dance about a month back for my school but I didn't go because the girl I wanted to take had a boyfriend.

There's one coming up in Year 12 next year, hopefully I'll go to that one. I can't see myself wearing a suit, honestly xD.

My sister's pissed because her bf's musical is opening prom night and he's the lead. I can't go to prom, unless a senior or junior ask me to go. And the ones I know don't care enough or are too shy to invite me.

True story.
