You're agnostic right now, Wing. Agnostic basically means "shopping for a God".

To put it simply, yea.

It can also mean you don't believe in organized religion, or that no person could prove or deny a higher power, and even though you don't follow a named god, you believe in one.

It's a very confusing subject...

Atheist is one who denies the existence of God or gods. An agnostic is one who believes that man will never know for sure.

I don't believe in a named god (or god's), so by Nexus' definition I should be Agnostic, but I know what I believe in, so in a sense I suppose I'm a theist (The opposite of an atheist...simply believing in god(s) of any description). Personally I find it's best to look at all sides and then think about what could be plausible.

I reckon it's highly unlikely that any religion has got it right, especially as science keeps proving a lot of their older stories mere fairytales from a simpler time. I also reckon that the universe and the world is a bit more than just "an accident" or a natural process, there probably is more to it; whether there is a loving god looking after all of us, a god who made us and is now seeing what happens, a host of gods for each part of the universe or just a "scientist" god who created the universe in his petri dish as an experiment just to see what would happen I can't prove one way or another, but I know there's no religion on this planet that could convince me.

As crazy as that sounds, I'd like to see somebody prove beyond doubt that that ain't true...

Although I guess the fact that I'm thinking kinda makes me only able to believe that I'm the one plugged in with all you as features of my imagination and all of you, well those of you that think, would see it the same way.

Well when you actually think about it, there's no way you could know what really makes the universe tick...and then it reminds you just how insignificant every life is in such a place

Tell you what's more of a bummer...if you die and that's it, just dreamless sleep forever. But then again, you technically have experienced that from when time began until you were born...that weren't so bad i spose lol

If you're dead and there's nothing beyond it, then you won't exactly know about it, so it won't be that bad. You won't be alive to be aware of your situation, nor will anything effect you - it just stops, and there is nothing more.

In case that is actually the case, the most obvious thing to do would be to live life to the fullest, wouln't you say?

Not really. Taoism is the original name, Daoism is how you would pronounce it. Even my Canadian spellcheck says so.
