I still can't believe Michael Jackson has passed away; regardless of his lifestyle, he revolutionized music and will be missed.

RIP Jackson.

It's such a shame that all that new music he was going to write will never be released...

oh wait... he did pretty much nothing for the last five years.

After that trial/media witch-hunt, can you really blame him?

You know as weird as it sounds...

I never actually thought he would die...

I know he's only human but he's been around so long it was like nothing could take him away

I never really thought I would hear it happened

I know he has a lot of stigma (various...) attached to his name but he was a really great musician.

If it can be said that 'the music' died with Buddy Holly.

Then It too can be said that 'the dance' died with Michael Jackson.

RIP.

He's actually gone on another tour since - within the past five years. Hell, I think it might've even been just a year ago.

I don't think he has toured for ages, he was preparing for a comeback/last tour of all time though when he passed.

Wasn't he also prepping to tour for a reunion with the Jackson Five? My source for that is pretty hit and miss, so i'm not sure.

That doesn't sound exactly right. Unlike Michael the others may have not kept their talent.

I think they got back together a few years ago in a tribute event to MJ. Not sure about that either, but they have performed together within the past few years at least.

Well then if the response was positive getting back together wouldn't have been to much of a shot in the dark.

After doing some research, it looks like I was thinking of his 30th anniversary special back in 2001, so the reunion tour's factuality is pretty questionable.

It's entirely possible he was organizing them to be a part of his upcoming tour as special guests.

I heard they were gonna be special guests for it too, one of his shows at the O2.

Shame really as I would of liked to hear his jackson 5 and off the wall stuff, other then thriller album the rest of his stuff is a bit naff imo
