"Nurse? Is everything alright?" The doctor turned the corner and met the nurse's eye as they both met in the doorway.

"Yes, doctor. I was just getting the girl something to eat and drink." McNeidle avoided the woman's gaze, lowered his head, and began to walk away.

"Well that was nice of you." The woman gave McNeidle a pat on the back of his shoulder as they crossed paths. She would then enter the room as he would exit, his gaze on the floor as he still seemed to be considering his choices. "Haytch~" She curled her finger up outside the door to beckon her medical droid. "Come, dear. Let's get this done."

"Yes, doctor, right away." The tall grey droid swiftly made his way into the door, then pulled up alongside the opposite side of Kyo's bed to where Seela was. "Administering antidote now." H3 would begin to inject the antidotes near Kyosuke's wounds as the young man continued to sit there, slumped and unresponsive.

The doctor let out a sigh as she pressed her fingers to the side of her temple and slowly made her way to the empty bed. She'd then sit at the end of it, crossed her legs, and watched the young man closely. A hint of worry across her expression as she wondered whether or not he'd make it through. "I really hope this works... The nurse doesn't know this, but Key is the reason this clinic is still going."

The red-haired woman would then glance down at Seela while shaking her head lightly, and gently patted the bed next to her in an effort to kindly invite the girl to join her. "Please, I don't like seeing you down there on your knees... It's not befitting for anyone, especially a girl as beautiful as you."

"Slaves belong on the floor, Ma'am..."

Still, seeing as the woman seemed to be in a better mood, and Seela was curious what information she might get from her, she decided to not antagonize her more. If Seela being on the floor truly made her uncomfortable, she wouldn't talk as freely. Seela then rose to her feet slowly, grateful that her time spent kneeling allowed her to regain some energy. Still, she couldn't bring herself to sit on the bed, so she leaned her back on the wall, and affected a more "relaxed" and open stance. Still keeping an ear on Kyosuke, she turned her body slightly towards the woman, silently and relatively discreetly stating her protectiveness and loyalties.

"I am not surprised. Master is a good person, and seems to have a knack for getting injured. Having a medical facility to fall back on would probably be very useful. Regarding nurse McNeidle... I know it isn't my place, but you might want to keep him on a tighter leash regarding Master's identity. I tried more than once to warn him, but I have a feeling he won't take my hints..."

Seela rolled her neck, and something in her settled at feeling the familiar metal of her collar on her neck. She realised that despite not noticing it before, she had been uncomfortable without the collar, she felt more naked than usual, and now that she had put it back on, she felt protected, somewhat invisible. She added that fact to her list of things to unpack later, and forced herself back in the present.

"The antidotes will work. They have to... Master already withstood the poisons and the pain for so long, it would be absurd for him to not survive."

Seela resolved to start pushing her light to Kyosuke as soon as she got enough energy back, and was alone.

Kyosuke's faded pale eyes trembled for the briefest of moments, the quick motion somewhat covered by his heavy eyelids, which were still nearly closed. The medical droid continued to work across the young man's body with his arm-needle, strategically injecting key spots between Kyo's wounds.

"Well, that's better I guess." The doctor didn't seem too fazed by the apparent slave's choice to lean against the wall instead of sitting next to her. She'd give off a couple small nods and watched H3 to make sure he didn't make a mistake. "It's not quite like that. He didn't do it out of logic." Her voice was soft and calm, but she seemed like she was lost somewhere in the distraction of the memory. "He did it out of compassion... mercy... Service -- as he put it."

The doctor slowly removed her glasses as the volume of her voice gradually began to lower, her focus becoming more and more distant as she continued. "He hunted some very bad men that took everything we had. Risked his life." She looked as though she was trying to pick out exactly what to tell the ex-slave, and as though there was much more to what she was saying. "He saved us, and wanted nothing in return." Her teal eyes very slowly traced up and down the young man as she looked over him inquisitively. "He hasn't aged a day since then..." The woman bit down on the end of her glasses while she stared at him, inadvertantly causing her unfocused gaze to seem a bit lustful.

She'd then slightly tilt her body toward Seela and tried to force a smile as she snapped out of her memories. "But this isn't really the place to talk about all that. And it's probably going to take this antidote awhile to kick in." The woman then lifted her head to H3 and raised her voice somewhat. "Haytch~?"

"Yes, doctor?" The medical droid stopped as he'd been ready to move the needle attached to his left arm into another spot on the young man's body. The tip of the tool hovered less than an inch from Kyo's skin.

"Once you've finished with both antidotes let's give him and the chemicals a moment to mix and settle before we jostle him around on the way to the bacta tank."

"Yes, doctor." H3 responded, then turned back to the young man, and gently jabbed him near the large laceration from the concealed blade.

"Good boy." The woman turned her head back to Seela, then gave her an empathetic nod. "I think you're right, dear. I've seen him recover from some pretty bad stuff before, and he's held on this long." She would begin to shift in the bed as she started to become a little anxious about checking in on McNeidle at Seela's suggestion, while she also wanted to stay and oversee the operation to Kyo. "Don't worry about the nurse. I'll go talk to him and make sure he doesn't do anything stupid. Once Haytch-Three here finishes helping our friend."

Seela was happy to file the new information to examine later, not really having anything else to say. Still, out of courtesy, despite the fact that the woman seemed to talk more to herself than to Seela, she gave a brief nod.

"That is indeed similar to what I have come to know of Master."

Once the woman and the droid left, Seela crouched to gently scoop up the "sleeping" Gremlin, knowing the cute droid would want to see his friend get better, but also Seela liked cuddling the little robot, for some reason. Seela then softly patted the side of Gremlin's body, unsure if it would get his attention, and in a very low voice, she updated him of new information she had.

"Hey, little bud! They have just finished giving the antidotes to your friend, the poisons were Dendriton toxin, and Somniject, just in case I forget, we will need to look into that later, okay? Now he should soon start to feel better!"

Then, Seela settled in against the wall to keep watch over Kyosuke.

Gremlin slowly began to power up, a soft and groggy cheer as he woke from his nap to the good news. He'd then turn his head to watch over his bestie while he nuzzled against Seela. The doctor and nurse could be heard talking with H3 from down the hall, though they'd closed the door to the room they were in to muffle their conversation more than it already had been. They went on for several minutes while Gremlin waited in Seela's arms...

The Shadow's eyes flickered like a streak of white lightning as a faint blue glimmer sparked into his glazed orbs. The pupils widened and narrowed as Kyo felt his foggy mind finally begging to clear up. His attention snapped into pain, flaring up around his body like the ripples of a rising supernova. "Hnng!!" The overwhelmed Knight's eyes slammed shut, his teeth clenched hard, and his muscles all tensed. He tried to restrain his grunts and groans of agony as his entire body began to seize up and curl inward, nearly on the verge of flailing uncontrollably.

Gremlin cried out and stood in Seela's arms, looking back and forth between the two unsure of what he should do in the startling moment.

Seela jumped to attention as soon as she felt a change in the force, quickly putting Gremlin on the foot of the bed, then calling out to the medics.

"HELP, he's conscious!"

Softly crying, because she knew in how much pain Kyosuke was, from her own experience, she leaned over Kyosuke, putting her hands on his cheeks softly, locking eyes with him best she could. Then she dove in the force again, pushing out her light to embrace Kyosuke as much as she could, hoping to offer him a reprieve from the pain.

"Hey! You're safe! Please, breathe! Stay with me!"

Seela willed him to hear her, to hang on, just a little longer.

"S-Seela!! Hnn!!" Kyosuke gripped at the girl's shoulders, his muscles still shaking as he tried to keep it together. He could feel the Force as it ebbed and flowed through his body, still there from when he used it to reinforce his most basic functions just before he'd lost all control earlier in the day. "Ghh!!" Then he could feel the Light from Seela as it began to wash over him. He tried to focus on the essence, tried to pull his groggy attention away from the pain and to the soothing compassion he felt coming from the girl he'd helped set free. He'd try to hold onto the sensation while pushing the Force into every part of his body that hurt to mitigate it as much as possible.

"ALREADY!?" The others came flying around the corner, each one taking a spot around the young man as they carefully tried to keep his limbs from moving too much in the uncontrollable fits. Gremlin whined and took a few steps back from Kyo's legs as he looked up at his bestie worriedly, his head shifting from side to side as he tried to figure out what was going on and if there was anything he could do to help.

"Get him to the tank! Now!" The doctor, nurse, and medical droid all moved in, careful not to push Seela away as they all realized he was clinging to her and she was supporting him in her way. Grem would join the group as they'd hastily move through the hall to a room just next to the lab a few doors down. The doors hissed open as the sensors detected the cluster of individuals that scrambled toward the only bacta tank the small clinic could afford.

In a matter of moments the horizontal tank's door would be thrown open by the doctor while McNeidle and H3 carefully lowered Kyo into the tank. They struggled a bit to get his wrists, ankles, and neck all strapped into the padded metal restrains built into the tank before they secured the breathing mask over his mouth and closed the lid. Kyosuke continued to writhe, nearly screaming as he tried to contain it all as best he could. The tube would then quickly begin to fill with its restorative liquid as the doctor, nurse, and medical droid all took a couple steps back.

Seela felt and remebered very well the searing pain Kyosuke was currently experiencing. She wished to collapse and beg Master for forgiveness, but Seela knew it wasn't an option anymore. She wasn't in pain, Kyosuke was! She needed to be strong for him. She couldn't fail him again! And so, as soon a the lid closed, Seela locked her eyes back with his, and searched for a way to reach him. Then she remembered.

"Emotion, yet Peace.
Ignorance, yet Knowledge.
Passion, yet Serenity.

Chaos, yet Harmony."

Using the words as a mantra, Seela doubled up on her efforts witg the force, continuing to recite on a loop, the words becoming almost an incantation in her intensity.
She didn't care that there were other people in the room right now. Kyosuke was in pain, and she couldn't fail him again!

The others quietly watched Seela, giving the girl space and peace for a moment until McNeidle suddenly seemed to grow even more suspicious. He glanced at the doctor, who stared back at him with daggers. Then he shook his head and walked away. The woman quickly followed after him. H3 and Gremlin remained, watching the other pair as they tried to understand what was happening.

Kyosuke tried to keep his wavering pale gaze on Seela's enchanting pearl orbs. He kept his focus on her voice, though it was somewhat muffled by the tank walls that separated them. His muscles continued to tense and release across his body, bulging and spasming as his back arched while he struggled against the restraints. He'd repeat the mantra along in his murky mind, willing the Force to continue swelling across his body in an attempt to gain control of himself.

He'd jerk around for the next several minutes, gradually calming his muscles. His eyes managed to stay open for longer moments bit by bit, eventually remaining half-opened and glued to Seela as he finally started to show signs of calming down. Gremlin cooed up at Seela then looked back up at the bacta tank, where he was barely able to see his bestie finally beginning to recover.

After several minutes, Seela saw Kyosuke was recovering more properly, so she deviated from the weird poem, eliciting to express her tought on the last stunt Kyosuke pulled on her.

"Welcome back! Now, don't you dare do that ever again! You don't get to kick the bucket and leave us stranded in the middle of nowhere! If you do that again, I'll make sure you survive so I can kill you myself! Do you have any idea how worried little Gremlin was? You don't leave us again, understood?"

Seela was totally not crying and sniffling against the tube's window, no thank you! She was cool as a deathstar! Remembering Gremlin, she quickly looked around for the small bot, going to scoop him up so he would be able to see his friend in the tank. Plus, Seela needed to hold something to keep herself together... her legs shook slightly from the adrenalin crash in her bloodstream, and her latest use of the force, but she needed to see Kyosuke was fine. She hadn't failed him, this time... they would be fine...

Kyo went to move his hand up to the glass to brush it along the surface where Seela's face had been, but then he felt the restraint around his wrist stop him. He then looked down and struggled against his own muscles to lift his neck and shoulders so he could see the rest of his body. His head slowly turned to the right, then to the left. Then he nodded as if he remembered what'd happened, and eventually managed to lay his head back down.

Upon being scolded once again by Seela, Kyosuke's expression dropped, quickly becoming one of gloom and guilt. He stared up at the ex-slave and the scout droid, trying to ask them for forgiveness without being able to use his voice or even his lips to sync it out. A moment went by where he'd sweep his glance back and forth between them, before he'd finally look away and drop his gaze to a large window on the opposite side of the tank.

The last rays of light set over the cityworld's horizon, overtaken by the overwhelming dark of night. The artificial lights of the world's skytowers and air-traffic multiplied and scattered across the vast City of Spires. It felt cozy. Reminded him of chilling in space. Except for the shackles, bacta, and breathing apparatus in his mouth. He narrowed his eyes at the viewscape, then focused on the contrast of light and dark.

After a moment Kyo noticed Seela's reflection in the window, her face illuminated against the dark vista by the azure light that came from the edges of the rejuvenation tank. The young man stared at her translucent visage, his gaze shifted from her to the view beyond her, then back. He would then gradually turn his head back toward her and Gremlin, who hooted curiously and gently pawed at Seela before he curled back into her arms to watch both of them.

Kyo would try to catch the girl's attention, his expression calm, like he had some kind of plan. Then he'd gradually close his eyes, and begin to reach toward her with the Force. He felt the ethereal essence as he would guide it and weave it through the bacta, until it pressed against the edge of his cage and stopped. He faltered, his stamina and concentration still crippled by the experimental poisons that continued to clash with the synthesized antidotes in his body.

A muscle twitched, his body jerked, then after a few moments of writhing, he finally calmed once more. He panted, trying to catch his breath. But he wouldn't give up. The young man'd breathe deep, recenter himself over a few moments, and then eventually he'd begin to extend his coruscating Light toward her once more. 'Seela...'

Seela quickly dried the tears she definitely didn't produce, regaining her composure, she put a smile on her face, and leaned over the tube with Gremlin once more.
Taking a few deep breaths, Seela centered herself, then slipped in the force once more, feeling Kyosuke attempting something.

"Seriously? Just rest for now, alright? You need whatever ressources your body has left to deal with nearly dying just now! Or better yet, just... take mine, ok?"

Seela breathed deeply, then got back to pushing as much light as she could towards Kyosuke, and following what she tought he was attempting earlier, lacing it with the bacta around the man, figuring it couldn't hurt.

Kyosuke failed to hold his concentration as he heard Seela's muffled voice through the rejuvenation tank essentially criticizing and supporting him at the same time. He'd look up at her confused for a brief second before he felt his stamina slip again. His gaze paled and shifted weakly, then rolled up into his half-closed lids as he felt the tug of exhaustion.

The last thing he felt as his eyelids shook to a close was the Light that Seela wrapped in the bacta around him. It comforted him as he accepted the fact that his condition was still critical. The poisons continued to wage war inside his body, slowly being undone by the antidotes. He wanted to use the Force to maneuver the chemicals through his blood and to the vital spots where bits of poison lingered, but he was too far gone already. Within just a few more seconds he could no longer feel the essence, and faded out of consciousness...

Gremlin would let out a little cry and bury his face into Seela after he watched his bestie go unconscious. He had hoped the treatment administered by the medical professionals would've helped Kyo recover by now, they usually did. The little scout droid would then let out a soft whimper against Seela, as he realized he was going to have to be patient and wait longer to see if his bestie would pull through this.

Seela felt Kyosuke exhaust himself, and fall back unconscious, then felt Gremlin's worry, and knew she had to help the little droid. Patting his head, she searched the words briefly.

"It's okay, little friend. He just exhausted himself again. He will be fine, now, the worse is over. At this point, there's still a little bit of poison lingering, so we still need to wait a bit. I can assure you Master is on the recovery path, now. All he needs is rest."

Seela was starting to feel restless, now that Kyosuke was basically out of harm's way. She looked around for something to occupy herself, when she felt some of Kyosuke's things hidden in the blanket poke her ribs. This reminded her tyat they were supposed to get supplies, before Kyosuke collapsed. She could probably do that!
Letting Gremlin on top of the tube, near the control panels, Seela started taking Kyosuke's gear out of their hidden places, and putting them on a nearby countertop, trying to take stock of what was at her disposal.
Boots, vibroddager hidden in a boot, coms bracelet, holster with the shooty-grapply thing, data pad, shocky-thing, a weird ring, an unknown tech tool, a personav, stuncuffs, a signal thingy, a vocoder-thingy, fancy gloves, binoculars, and a utility belt.
Stars, that man didn't travel light!
Seela elected to borrow the dagger, and the comms bracelet. Anything else would attract attention outside. Seela turned back to Gremlin, while hiding the blade in the back of the chestband she was wearing, making sure that it was easy to retrieve, and putting the bracelet on.

"Gremlin, I can't stay here doing nothing until he is back on his feet, so I'll go get a few things we need, ok? I'll be borrowing the dagger and the comms, so if he wakes up before I return, you two can contact me, alright? I'll be back in a few hours, okay? I leave you in charge of things here until I'm back!"

Seela then silently slipped out of the clinic, and into the neon-lit twilight of Coruscant, finding her way towards the lower level. She had survived Nar Shaddaa, which was supposedly a darker reflection of Coruscant, so what could go wrong?

Gremlin softly nodded at Seela with a very faint coo, then curled down where he'd been put, and kept his gaze on his unconscious bestie. The medical droid had returned to the lab once Kyo lost consciousness. The doctor and nurse were busy arguing about something in the office, but they were at least being calm and respectful about it by the time Seela left the clinic.

Near the entrance there was a handheld holomap of the area, including directions to navigate to the lower levels. It had been projecting a small portion of the area that could be scrolled and zoomed to show more. Seela was completely undetected, nobody was around, and it was far from the watch of the camera. If she wanted to, she could easily take the device along with her.

Seela slinked down in the shadows, following the very nifty map towards an elevator. The light on coruscant was a very peculiar thing, the farther from the surface you went. No natural light reached her current location, bu there were plenty of neon signs lighting up the darkness, but the area wasn't really lit up either. Not dark, but not light either... hmmm...
Seela continued her musings in the elevator ride, where she chose a totally random number.
Getting out on level 2685, Seela slipped back in her service mindset, and quickly got to work.
A few hours later, Seela wrinkled her nose at the unpleasant taste her latest patron had left in her mouth. She knew she should be used to it, but it still tasted as unappealing as ever! Seela was counting the credits she just earned, in a dark alley, satisfied that she would have almost enough to buy a complete outfit, when she felt numerous presences approaching.
Hiding the credits in a pouch hidden in the top she was wearing, Seela slowly got the dagger out, keeping the blade in the folds of the blanket-toga, and trying to find an escape way.
Seela felt a ball of lead drop in her belly, when she realised she was very well surrounded, and would probably have to fight her way out.

Five gangly men and one larger musclehead all stared down at the much smaller Twi'lek they'd cornered in the dark alley of lower Coruscant. Nobody else was around, and their sinister grins showed that the girl and Kyo's vibrodagger didn't really scare them much. A small button on the upper back of the small guard would activate the weapon's more deadly vibroweapon feature, which would also cause the edge of the blade to glow teal. If Seela found it and so chose to ignite it.

"You lost, kitten?" A bald and poorly dressed gangster eyed the lavender Twi'lek up and down while he shifted back and forth to block her flank. He tried to keep his blaster pistol behind his hips for now in an attempt to conceal it from the girl while he tried to maintain a little more distance from her than the others.

"Master not around?" The large man mocked the apparent slave while he pushed his knuckles into his other palm and began to step toward Seela. His pose leaned down toward the shorter girl, while he would gradually begin to reach one of his hulking arms toward her.

Seela really didn't like her odds, but there was no other option. These guys didn't seem willing to talk things out... Backing up to keep a distance from the biggest one, Seela put her most pathetic face on, and gave a pleading look to the man approaching her.

"I am sorry, Sirs, I am merely working. I am not lost. I am also not allowed to perform for free... please, Sir, don't get me punished!"

While talking, Seela had shifted her grip on the hilt, finding a small toggle and activating it. She was pleased when she could see the blade ignite from the corner of her eye.

The elegant hum of Kyo's vibrodagger would whisper through the alley, its fine black handle gently vibrating in Seela's grip. A couple of the men opened their eyes wider and stepped back for a moment, pulling their own blades out in response to the slave's weapon activating.

The bald man to Seela's flank would take another step back and draw his blaster pistol, flicking the fire selector to stun as he held it to his side and waited for a clear opportunity. Other than that he'd try not to draw any more attention to himself for now.

The large man pulled his hand back for a moment, then chuckled and would continue to reach forward toward her arms with both his large hands.

Seeing the situation worsen, Seela decided to attack first, and in a flurry of movement, she swiped the blade towards one of the large hands reaching for her, then retreated a few steps to the side, trying to evade the big man.
