also i wuld asume that the jedi would be working on taking care of their own "renegades" instead of having an organization like us do it.

We could certainly investigate and apprehend a Jedi (though we might ask for some heavy hitting backup) but only if they committed crimes in Republic space. They have no special immunity to Republic law, unlike certain exemptions the BHG has (if they get their way in the Senate).
Keep that in mind when you guys are looking for new cases. It has to be either in Republic Space, or perpetrated by/against a Republic citizen.

Hi all.
I have just posted on the Breaking News thread, but i'm just waiting for Loco's approval/disapproval of how I described Iain's role.
Probably got it wrong somehow, but I am just testing out his role right now. I'm happy to just delete it and leave the thread alone, if I am directed to do so. ;)
Please hold off on posting until I have edited/deleted as necessary, or it could get confusing.

Looks fine to me. I would make sure you stick more on the slicer side and less on typical office work like sending notifications and stuff. Nothing wrong with it for startING the thread, I just don't want people in that section to feel like... well, admin personnel. I'm definitely changing the name.

Also, with so many rangers on the case, make sure you're splitting up duties. No need to have all of you investigating a single lead all at once. I'd suggest getting together to come up with a plan, then splitting off in teams to track down different leads.

Absolutely. It was très boring, but I felt an urge to explain why 4 rangers were doing this. I also mentioned that other people give Iain their mundane work, he's a total doormat, lol.

Darasuum may have a point about that name not being a fitting name for us in the Admin department, actually. (except for the sexual connotations, which I don't agree with).

I wouldn't do special operations either. That refers to Navy Seals, EOD, Divers, Rescue swimmers, swicc, army rangers etc
But in navy intelligence there are cryptographic technicians, electrical tecgs, information systems technicians, intelligence specialist (i think) which aren't actually Spec Ops/Spec War.

(I think I will edit it to say you were being tested to see if you could lead an investigation, rather than it being because you were on Bandomeer.)
The broadcast stated that it came from Sullust? So would it be easier if you were on Sullust already?

It now says Mani Vromm is being tested as to whether he is fit to lead an investigation.
And that everyone is to meet up with him and follow his direction from there.
I have removed the reference to him being on Bandomeer, so @Darasuum can change that if he decides to at any point.

It may have originated on sullust but when is a cop next door when a crime happens. It would be too convenient for a ranger to be there but the Senator is on bandomeer as well as one or two other people so we could interact with them.
