Okay so a friend told me about this and I thought it was probably the biggest hoax ever created but I really can't help sharing because I want to see what you guys think about this.

I figured its fake. I just can't help being curious about what kind if ridicules advertising stunt they're trying to pull.

Since the mission control guys are the only ones who weren't 'furloughed'; I doubt anyone left at NASA has time to make a site and a public announcement in their spare time.

That being said...last time I was at NASA (Houston, not Huntsville) there was a fire, so everyone was shuffled outside. Then there was lightning striking all around us from a tropical storm so they shuffled us all into one of their warehouses. So....no telling who they've let in now that they don't have anyone working the front gate.

they have better sources if they needed it and such, We got an email from the Astronomy society my son is part of warning about it a few days ago which THEY got through their official NASA media sources to send to everyone affiliated ( and The poor bastards had to do it for free too no less)
