Well, Sol seemed to have handled that significantly better than she did. He was helping her up before she'd really recovered and shouting (she supposed it still counted as shouting and her headache seemed to treat it the same) about getting off the boat. For her part, she still had no idea what was happening. She tried to force her mind back through what had happened, but it rebelled against her.

Okay, focus through the pain, she thought. They were sailing fine and then they... crashed? How? Why? Where was the captain? And what had they crashed into?

She didn't really have time to think about this despite the fact that she was trying because Sol was practically dragging her off the ship. Why? Who cared? The fact that the ship seemed as if it might soon be in an even worse position was completely lost on her.

On the bright side, he helped her get out, and off the boat she went, plopping hard into the sand. The pain in her side left her wondering if she had broken a rib on that counter, and she looked back to see that there was already a nasty black and purple bruise forming on her side.

She was about to say thank you, but he was popping off again with more of that head screaming. It didn't really get that much better the further away he moved, either.

One of the other Sith ladies made her way over but what she said caused Arla a moment of absolute panic

What had she just called her? Did she know Arla's mother? Did she know who Arla was? Was she going to tell people? Was she going to tell Arla's mother!?! She started to panic internally, grabbing Tiamat's hands and practically pulling her down into the sand to sit next to Arla.

What did you just call me? Why did you call me that? Who are you? she started to blurt out, and then realized that this probably wasn't the time or place. Based on the amount of screaming and yelling, there were probably still other people in trouble.

She started to push herself up, looking to help the others before splitting pain tore through her side again. Kriff, she spat, wincing and looking back again at her side.

Are you hurt? she asked, looking back at the other woman and noticing that she seemed... a little out of it. Not only had she been kind of stumbling around and unsteady (she hadn't had the gentlest sitting) but she was giving almost a drunk look on her face that had Arla really wondering.

Alia emerged from the sea, the burning, sinking, remains of the yacht behind her, right hand clutching at the stump of what had till recently been her left hand. Wrapped in the ripped remains of the captain's shirt, it was still bleeding, her attempts at trying to cauterize the wound having been largely unsuccessful. "It's alright," she whispered to herself reassuringly, "it's alright. Could be worse, could be so much worse. At least you're not a lefty." She would have chuckled, but the mixture of adrenaline and shock that was keeping her from breaking down wasn't really doing enough to allow her to manage much more than walk and drag the captain's body behind her, her tail wrapped around his arm.

She had survived the initial "tumble", but then one of the consoles had caught fire, and as the ship capsized and started sinking, things had started shifting in the bridge, and she had found herself buried under something big as the water started flowing in. That was probably where she lost her hand. Shock had kept her going, shock and what little of her training could still break through her delirious thoughts to remind her that she needed to get out. She had spotted the captain, and not realizing that he was already dead, had thought it was both smart and important to drag him out as well. She had found an open deck hatch that seemed like her one shot at escape, and while it was open wide enough for her to easily slip through, it was going to be a tight fit for the captain. But water was beginning to fill the bridge, and though she didn't know what lay behind the exit, it was her only hope. The captain had been a pain to pull through, the water had caught up with her by then, and she was beginning to panic as she held her breath and pulled with everything she had, till the resistance suddenly vanished under the strain of her efforts. She began moving once more, her movements no longer as sluggish as they had been before, eyes locked on the surface as she swam around what had probably been a pool-side shower, and heading up to the surface.

She spotted others, and began calling for them at the top of her lungs, which in that moment was little more than a whisper. "The captain...someone help the captain, I think he's dyin..." She looked back to check on the captain, and the words stopped in her throat as she realized the captain wasn't there. Just like a good chunk of her tail.

The shock, that had kept her going till then, couldn't keep up any more, and her feet collapsed under her. "Oh no, no, no. Please god no." She begged and pleaded between sobs to the twin deities as her one arm scrapped across the sand, desperately searching for what she had lost. But it wasn't there, and as that realization hit, she finally let out a scream loud enough for someone other than her to actually notice.

"NAAAARGHHH!!!"

If Arla was startled, Tiamat couldn't tell, but whatever she had just said, put the woman in a panic. She reached to grab Tiamat's hands as she threw a bunch of questions out that made it difficult for the redhead to focus on just one. Tiamat let out a yelp of pain as she had taken her broken wrist to bring her back to the sand with her. The breath had left Tia's lungs, and she was having difficulty gaining it back, but leaned in very close to Arla, noses nearly touching.

"Oh, you're not," she gasped as she tried everything but rub her wrist, "You're not a Renfry, you're an Arla." she forced a smile, to which Arla would see her pupils seemed off, skin beginning to pale; Tia was hurt, but it didn't quite register for the woman yet.

"I'm Tiamat, don't tell Renfry I'm here." she said watching the girl stand with difficulty, "We should just sit here and wait, I feel funny, who is screaming?" she spoke in what seemed to be a trailing of thoughts from the redheaded woman as she turned to look to see others. Some trying to make it to the shore, others on the short, but seemed to be in just as rough of shape.

"Renfry...uh Arla, I'll sit here, someone needs help." she said watching as the boat continued to sink before she closed her eyes. She was starting to get a massive headache again.

Caelian lay unconscious through most of the journey from the cabin to the beach, with brief glimpses of his rescuers and the sinking vessel. He was sure something was said to him, but he couldn't quite make it out, and mumbled some kind of response before she ran off back toward the water.

The water from the waves rolled across his feet, their rhythmic sensation providing comfort and something to focus on as he lay, gathering his wits. He remembered hitting his head on the wall and reached back behind his head and felt the sticky liquid coalescing, he sighed with relief as it seemed the bleeding was slowing down. Forcing himself to roll over, the agony of a leg injury restricted his movement.

He couldn't quite see from where he was situated, but if he had broken the leg, he'd be stuck on his ass without a way to move around on some random island. Caelian palmed his forehead and sighed, well this vacation had gone from 100 to 0 real quick. All he could do was look around and watch for now, and wait to see what happened.

The sweet burn of the Vodka was enlightening in the morning and despite the standard effects of Alcohol, the Firrerrian was feeling more alive with each swig rather than falling into the despair of intoxication. After Arla’s comment about his effort the night before he took another swig from the Vodka bottle. His eyes pulled away from the party as he drank, he spotted something through the Fog. His Firrerrian eyes able to see into the Ultraviolet caught site of the rapidly approaching beach, a few moments before Alia screamed across the tannoy.

In that moment self preservation trumped all friendships and loyalties, he could have perhaps warned Altair, Vahliri or any of the others, but then he would have lost out on time Wodan needed to save himself. Those few moments allowed the Noble to brace himself properly on the upper deck, grabbing hold of the balcony edge. The Force flowed, fear amplifying its potency as he locked his body down becoming a near immovable object on the top of the yacht.

Wodan watched in disbelief at his own selfishness as one by one, the other Sith were flung from the upper deck, first Vahliri catapulted like a stone far into the distance. Then Altair almost swandiving over the edge into the water, Llolith tumbled like a bag of potatoes, till he was the only one left where once there had been many.

It took a few moments for Wodan to wrestle control of The Force back from his self preserving subconscious, releasing the strict hold of his body. As the adrenaline began to die down he felt an ache in elbow where the ship had jarred into his rigid body. The first voice he heard was Altair’s calling out from outside the ship. Moving towards the edge he looked over to spot the Tiefling. “I’m ok.”

Then came the cries of pain and copious amounts of swearing from the other survivors of the crash. The boat shifted to one side, it was taking on water, Wodan grabbed onto the railing. His eyes were in their element at this height in the early morning sun, able to pick out the forms of Vahliri, Llolith and Altair in the distance, a limp Caelian and Nova appeared to one side along with the water horse Soleil. Subconsciously he searched frantically for Arla, his eyes darting side to side trying to catch a view of the Dathmorian. Taking a sigh of relief as he spotted her next to Tiamat on the sand.

Something rumbled behind him, turning back he saw that the yacht was now on flames. That wasn’t good, definitely not good. Shame of not helping his friends early ate into the back of the Firrerrian, he needed to do something, everything they had was on the ship. Panic set in as he looked around the top level of the yacht, what could he grab that they could use. Without conscious thought about what he was doing, Wodan pumped his body full of as much Force Energy as he could muster and began throwing things off the top of the yacht into the sand beyond, hopefully no one was below him.

--
A small explosion near the kitchen area broke his attention. Looking up he could see that most of the yacht was now underwater. It was time to save himself, hopefully he had gotten something off the yacht they needed. Launching the last item off the boat, Wodan ran up the tilted edge of the Yacht jumping off the boat just as it sank beneath the surface. Stepping up the beach, the physical exhaustion of The Force drain came over the Acolyte, collapsing onto the sand. “Don’t worry I saved the…” Looking over to his right to see what he saved, he could only see the drinks cooler right next to him. Rolling his eyes at himself and sighing in disappointment. “The alcohol.”

Arla winced as she realized the other woman's arm was not in such a good place, and she mouthed "sorry" and did a little hand wave over it like somehow it'd help something.

Arla's shock only continued to grow as the other woman not only deduced she wasn't her mother, but als knew exactly who she was. Had they met at some point? Her curiosity about that was quickly replaced as the redhead leaned in really close, and for a moment she was almost wondering if she was going to try to kiss her. She leaned back a bit, face twisting up in confusion. Her eyes looked... off too. Was she on drugs? It was really hard to tell.

When Tia finally said her name, it seemed... familiar. It took a few seconds of thought before she realized she had heard her mother talk about this woman before. They must have been friends! Though Arla was once again caught off-guard by Tiamat asking her not to tell Renfry. Yeah, she could relate.

I won't tell if you don't, she said. Her eyes began to drift down to the redhead's hand and though she was no medic, she had at least some kind of an idea what to do. Not that it would be fun. She lacked bacta or pain killers or even any of the herbal tees from Dathomir.

We need to set that. I can do it, are you able to focus on the Force? Suppress your bodies functions? she asked, but the instant the words were out of her mouth she knew it was a dumb question. She was pretty sure Tia couldn't have focused on brushing her teeth let alone using the Force.

Before they could continue further, she heard the same screaming as Tiamat and with great effort pushed herself to her feet to see Alia was literally clawing her way along the beach.

Alia! she shouted, holding her side as she limped over in hopes of helping her friend. She reached down, trying - and failing - to help drag her from the sandy water.

Vahliri’s breath came in agonized, shallows gasps - each inhalation causing pain to spike through her ribcage. Making no attempt to move forward, the half-Annfyn allowed her body to sink down against the side of the palm - her knees buckling inward until she was firmly planted back onto the ground. She had every desire to rush through the fog to find Altair and the rest - and her broken and injured body simply refused to comply. Shock hadn’t quite set in and it meant that the half-Annfyn was lucid to her every injury and the chaos all around them.

Her gaze snapped up towards a figure approaching in the fog, and relief suddenly flashed across the half-Annfyn’s expression as Altair came into view. “Altair.. God your okay..” She said with an exhale, amber eyes flicking up to meet those violet pools. It was clear that the Tiefling wasn’t nearly as injured and that simple fact brought her a peace of mind despite all the pain she was feeling. Before the Tiefling could get much closer, Vahliri’s own sensitive hearing clearly picked up on the screams from Llolith - fluted ears instinctively flattening against the sides of her skull in response.

For all the pain she was in, the half-Annfyn couldn’t fault Altair for moving in the direction of those screams - merely giving a rapid nod of her head as she ran off in Llolith’s direction. To her own credit, Vahliri followed the Tiefling’s instructions to the letter - keeping her ass firmly planted in the ground and her back propped up against that palm tree. Her good hand rose to wipe at the steady trickle of blood that ran across her face - likely originating from a cut above her hairline. Her head tilted back, eyes closing for moments that seemed to move at glacial pace.

Her half-Annfyn physiology meant that Vahliri could pick up on every noise and cry from her comrades, and her eyes didn’t open again until she picked up on the agonized screams that clearly came from Alia. Vague silhouettes were visible through the fog, but the moisture in the air obstructed everything from clear sight. Exhaling a breath, Vahliri lifted her good hand into the air - drawing upon the Force to the best of her ability. With a few moments to concentrate, the half-Annfyn released a weak burst through the air - attempt to disperse some of the lingering fog that shrouded the crash site.

What a mess...what a catastrophe.

How could the night have escalated like that? Well...admittedly the party had definitely been escalating as well, but on a completely different, rather pleasant level, but this was just the worse now.

So Caelian was badly injured...and it seemed like he was not the only one. She overheard the confused conversation between Tiamat and Arla, realizing that Tia was also badly affected by whatsoever happened to her, but it didn't stop there...

While Wodan somehow heroically started throwing stuff down from the yacht, Alex and Caer were still in the water. She couldn't see Vahliri and Altair just now, but she had seen the Half-Annfyn had been sent flying, which led her to the assumption that she was also hurt.

Then there was Llolith's scream and Alia's, which were definitely no good signs at all. While she tried to make out Sol's (@Mr. Teatime) silhouette in the water, she had to stagger out of the way in order not to get hit by Wodan's spoil.

While she did tried to evade the deck chairs, she tripped and fell back into the sand, her head buzzing even worse before she shot the acolyte an annoyed glance. "Deck chairs?! Seriously?!" she hissed now that the acolyte collapsed not far from her, shaking her head while scowling. "Wasn't there anything more helpful in sight?" she accusingly threw at him with a deep hint frustration in her voice. (@Braden)

Such a setting was completely new for the brunette acolyte and she literally had no idea what they were supposed to do next. What she did know, however, was that deck chairs wasn't necessarily helping...the same applied to the cocktail sticks and she was close to losing her temper out of frustration.

Without hesitation though she grabbed one of the empty ice buckets, pushed herself back to her feet and filled it in the shallows before she went back over to Caelian. She didn't reconsider her idea for another second and simply emptied the half filled bucket over the Champion's head and abdominal area, hoping to wake him up (@Xorism). Wodan had at least retrieved a med kit, or she at least thought she had caught a glimpse of one, so she intended on helping the wounded first as this seemed like a decent thing to do.

Altair saw a rain of objects being tossed into the sand courtesy of Wodan. Most of it looked completely worthless, but he saw two medpacks fly out. His eyes lit up at that and he used the Force to float one of them over, snatching it out of the air as he made his way back to Llolith. With the yacht gone, he knew he had to take care of the branch himself. The tiefling knelt next to her again and undid the tourniquet for now, “I’m from a farm,” He explained as he worked, opening the medkit and quickly getting out the supplies he needed, “I wouldn’t mind seein’ your town one day if they ain’t afraid of tieflings,” He glanced up to smile at her.

“I’m gonna take the branch out now,” Altair said, “Look away and focus your Force energy. It’s gonna hurt like hell I ain’t gonna lie. Just think about home and all the critters that you gotta hunt there. On Bandomeer we got -” Without warning, he abruptly yanked the branch out just in mid convo. Countdowns never worked, and it was easier to just keep it as a surprise. He half expected her to hit him, but he was prepared for it. Altair rapidly worked to staunch the bleeding, his hands working dexterously to patch her up and put bandages and bacta patches on her wounds. The dressing was much better from the pack and he was able to make a proper wrapping. Altair exhaled when it was done, “Okay, looks much better.”

He wasn’t sure if she was in condition to walk. Altair grabbed the bloody branch and held it up for her, “A souvenir if you wanna keep it,” He said while attempting not to grin. He rose to stand and grabbed a much larger stick, handing it to her, “See if you can try supporting yourself with that. I gotta see to the others.” (@lizziie)

With that, he rushed towards the others. He first made his way to Wodan (@Braden )to see if he was dead, but soon realized he was just lazing around on the beach. Altair grabbed him by the bicep and yanked him up to his feet, “Come on, bro, go make sure the others are okay,” The Firrerreo looked entirely unharmed but he was prone to freeze during a crisis. Altair was here to literally slap that out of him if it happened again, “Go help Alia!” He yelled, pointing to the other tiefling floating near the beach. From here he couldn’t tell the extent of her damage or see the blood.

Altair spotted Caer and Alex (@LouJoVi @Tom) swimming towards shore, “You two!” He called out to them, “Can y’all check to see if anyone’s missing? Gather anyone seriously hurt over there,” He pointed to a grassy flat patch away from the sea, “One of you look around where the yacht’s goin’ down to see if any of the crew survived! They’re more likely to know where we at!”

He hoped against hope the two princessy boys would be able to actually be useful in a crisis. He had no time to make sure, quickly making his way back towards Vahliri (@Altaris). Her arm looked bad, but he knew what to do. Altair didn’t take the other medpack, leaving it for someone else that would need it. He crouched down next to her, “The one time your ass wakes up early in the morning,” Altair said with a faint smile as he looked at her, “You and Tia looked way too cozy in there for me to wake y'all,” He chuckled softly as he looked at her arm.

“I can set this in place but it won’t feel good,” Altair said with a sigh, “Hold onto me,” He said, knowing that he was signing up for injuries by letting her do that. But he knew it would bring her more comfort holding him than anything else. The tiefling centered himself in the Force as he held her arm, channeling it through as he felt along where the bones had shifted. After a moment, there was a snap and excruciating pain for Vahliri, but it would set the bone back in place. It was a temporary fix, but it would do for now. Altair reached over and tore away a part of her attire and wrapped it around her neck to make a firm loop with her arm for a makeshift sling. Since she wore flimsy clothing, this basically left her in underwear. The tiefling sighed from exhaustion, shaking his head, “You’re gonna be okay babe,” He blurted out as a part of that sigh without really realizing. He jumped to his feet again and walked back towards the beach to see if anyone else was hurt after he was sure Vahliri was okay for now.

Where the hell was Tiamat (@GABA)? Altair looked around for the redhead, unable to spot her anywhere. Altair quickly looked through the supplies again and had to bite back the urge to beat Wodan over the head with the lounge chair. He grabbed the fire ax and stashed it on his person. Altair looked all around and had no way of telling where they were. The island was thick and dense and he had no idea if it was full of dangerous animals or not. Their party had made a lot of noise and it remained to be seen if they survived one danger only to jump into another.

Gritting her teeth through the lingering pain, Vahliri pressed her bodyweight back and against the tree behind her - right hand falling down to idly grasp at her arm where the bone had clearly broken upon impact. Despite her every inclination, the half-Annfyn made no attempt to get up or address anything that was going on around her - waiting for Altair to return while keeping herself propped against that tree. With the morning mist blown away by her Aerokinesis, Vahliri allowed her honeyed gaze to wander the shoreline - first spotting the burning remains of the yacht that sank lower into the water, followed by flicking onto the surviving members of their party.

Vahliri tilted her head backwards, closing her eyes as the moments seemed to tick by dreadfully slow. It wasn’t until the sound of footsteps that the half-Annfyn glanced ahead once more - her gaze fixing onto the Tiefling just as he crouched down beside her. Despite the situation, the half-Annfyn managed a smile when Altair spoke, lifting her right hand to nudge him ever-so-slightly. “Well I was snuggled up with you all night,” She said softly, her smile widening for just a moment after the Tiefling made his quip.

Her expression only faded when the reality of what Altair was about to do set in. “Can’t be worse than it is now..” She said softly. Vahliri took in a sharp breath through her nostrils before nodding towards the Tiefling, her right arm rising to grip firmly onto forearm. It was something that brought her far more comfort than she would ever put into words - in that current moment and most times beyond. Her head tilted back against the tree and her eyes closed - preferring not to watch as he began to feel along the broken bone.

“NAARGHH FUCK!” Vahliri cried out of sheer agony, unable to control the noises she made nor the way that she aggressively gripped onto the Tiefling. Her nails dug painfully into his flesh to the point of starting to break skin, and her fingers closed like a vice onto his arm - constricting painfully and no doubt leaving bruises against his skin in the aftermath. Hot tears began to immediately stream down the half-Annfyn’s face, and it took her a few moments recover herself from the bone being set back into place. As a result, she put up no argument to Altair tearing her crop top and was largely oblivious to what he was doing. Oblivious up until Altair muttered softly through his sigh.

The Galaxy itself seemed to freeze in place, and Vahliri’s gaze at once snapped back onto Altair - sinking into those depthless pools of amethyst as she had a dozen times in the past. There was not single word that passed from her lips, but the Tiefling would briefly catch a glimpse of the way her eyes widened comically and the warmth that immediately rushed to her face. It was such a simple term of endearment - one that Altair didn’t even seem to notice he muttered to begin with - and yet it left the half-Annfyn helplessly rooted in place. It blasted through her every defense and all the strength and confidence she projected - sinking right down to where she was most vulnerable. They were words that brought her a surge of comfort and belonging she could never explain - and they were words that so much of her wanted to hear him utter again - over and over in a world where they only belonged to each other.

“Altair.. Thank you,” She muttered softly, gratitude genuine even if her thoughts were somewhere else entirely.

She said nothing else, watching as the Tiefling sprang up and began to make his way back towards the beach. Her gaze flicked down to her tended arm for a long moment, lingering exactly where she sat. For all the desires that burned within her - for all the longing and wish for something deeper, there was another part of the half-Annfyn that screamed against it all - the part that knew how this story ended.

Countless times in the past, the two of them had been down this road - and it never ended in anything but painful longing in the end. Every tender moment and warm embrace - every unspoken word and emotion they shared, and it always ended with that door slammed in her face - cruelly just as she had started to catch just a glimpse of what could be. The Tiefling’s emotions had always been elusive and hard to predict - and it cut Vahliri to her core in ways that she would never tell him. Left her searching for some fault or cause within herself each and every time.

No matter what he said in that moment - no matter what she wanted to believe it meant.. She knew it wasn’t any different. A slip of the tongue that Altair could deny and ignore away before they repeated the wicked cycle they could never seem to escape. He had always been the drug that she could never escape - the kind that made her feel more alive than ever within his embrace, and left her longing every moment she went without.

And for the first time, Vahliri felt her jaw tighten and clench involuntarily - a surge of rage spiking that caught the half-Annfyn off guard the moment that it surfaced. She wanted to be angry with him - angry for the way that he strung her along and allowed her to think that something was possible. Angry for the way that she knew she would allow herself to do it all over again. Angry for the way that he dug his hooks into her effortlessly regardless of any defense she tried to arm herself with. She couldn’t help but wonder if Altair even knew what he did to her. Could he even begin to..?

Vahliri tilted her head back once more, allowing her amber eyes to linger on the grey clouds that drew across the skies above. That moment of anger passed as quickly as it came - and it left nothing but the raw ache and longing in its place. It was a sensation she had grown accustomed to - one that she had come to accept - and would weather it and pretend it wasn’t there just as she always did. And so, slowly but surely, Vahliri rose up from where she was sitting - finally beginning to make her way back towards the group - brushing away her own thoughts as quickly as they had surfaced.

Whatever Alex could swim for himself or not, Caerllion would help him reach the beach. Behind them, the yacht was going down underwater and it would soon disappear. The Annfyn wondered if everyone was able to escape from it. Drowning wasn’t a nice way of dying.

When they reached the sand, the Annfyn felt the surge of adrenaline disappear and his headache returned, now a hundred times stronger. Caerllion would not mind sitting here in the sand and taking a nap. The breeze coming from the sea was so nice and inviting him to do exactly that.

Unfortunately, someone had called him at the exact moment that he was going to sit. It was Altair, asking him and Alex to see if there was someone missing and to help move those that were hurt. He only nodded at the Tiefling and turned to look around, the prospect of needing to walk around in the sun to see if people were fine seemed so unpleasant for his taste.

Sighing, Caerllion would go to do what Altair asked. He would leave Alex behind and move looking around for those that were on the beach. While he walked through the sand like the incarnation of tiredness, the Annfyn noticed among the people an individual that he hadn’t seen before (@lizziie).

What attracted more of his attention to the person was her multiple eyes. This made her look like a spider in a human form. Such thought made a shiver run down his spine and he looked away. She seemed fine, so he would not linger near her for too long. It wasn’t his Arachnophobia screaming, not at all.

Then, he approached Nova, who was taking care of Caelian (@LadyRen @Xorism). The white-haired man seemed to be in a bad shape. “Do you need some help?” Caerllion asked, uncertain if he could be useful. The Annfyn never was part of a dire situation like this one before. Would someone come to save them? Would he spend the rest of his life on an island with a humanoid spider? Now he was starting to panic. The Acolyte wanted to leave immediately.

She was relieved that Arla left her to sit where she was at, everything was feeling more grounded, but surreal as she focused on the water's waves. There was a growing throbbing sensation coming from her wrist and instead of getting warmer as the sun rose above the horizon, she felt more chilled, clammy and more vulnerable. It was certainly a feeling she hated as instinct worked to give her enough energy and stamina to avoid being perceived as weak.

The woman could hear the voices of others, but she remained unmoved; the waters churned in the distance where the yacht had sunk. Tia blinked a few times, trying to make out the figures along the water's edge. How many of them were hurt? Who was still okay?

Hearing someone coughing from behind she turned to look along the beach shore to a figure wearing one of the crew's unformed shirts; he looked like he was hit hard across the face, blood covered him as he pulled himself ashore; it was hard to tell where he was injured. The woman's eyes narrowed, she really didn't care too much to his well-being as instinct took over. She pushed herself slowly to her feet, limping from the pain and tenderness of her stomach until she reached his side.

Falling onto her knees beside him, she suddenly felt nauseous from the sudden movement; she closed her eyes, hearing the man gasping beside her, trying to ask her for help. In the moment, it was hard to think of something endearing to say; she felt no compassion, just survival, she needed enough to ensure she would make it off this island. A cold touch embraced her shoulders as her blue eyes lightened to amber, her uninjured palm hoovered just over the crewmate's chest, "I will help, just rest... the pain will stop." Tiamat did not spare another moment and in her own way, granted him his mercy and rest as she took what was left of him.

She could feel an energy return, her mind less foggy, it was more focused and the darkside whispered hungrily in her ears to find others. However, she could deal with what she had, satiating the darkness for now as she rose a bit easier from where she sat and looked around. Looking at the dead crewmate's shirt, she knelt down again, tearing a piece off and then splitting it again to use for a splint. Heading to where others were congested together, she would see if anyone had any helpful information and to see exactly how bad their situation would be.

The Echani sat with a watchful gaze as the chaos of events unfolded around him, the various groups of Sith recovering in their own ways, some more dramatic than others, while the boat sank in the near distance.

He was minding his own business when he felt a terrible shock course through his body as water was poured onto him from behind, quickly turning on the spot he noticed who did it and his frustration cooled slightly. "Well there goes my sunscreen Nova." he chimed sarcastically.

Noticing the med pack, he pointed at it for her to drop it beside him. Caelian having now sat up was able to properly, had been able to examine the injury to his leg. At first, he had assumed the worst, but it appeared that his leg was not in fact broken, but instead he suffered from a sprained ankle. "Oh, thank god, there better be something good in here." he said while searching frantically until he was able to grab a painkiller and bacta wrap.

The opiate provided immediate relief and took the edge off things while he struggled with the stupid wrap, his flailing coordination failing him slightly. With a little help, Caelian finally managed to apply the pack to his ankle and wrap it. It wasn't perfect, but in time he'd be able to walk on it again. His head had stopped bleeding, at least, but something of a concussion remained. Only time would tell if this would become a problem.

Wodan felt exhausted, the buzz of The Force energy had long gone leaving the Firrerrian’s body lethargic and eyelids extremely heavy. They had been closed for only a few seconds when he heard the heavy breathing of Altair coming towards him. Of course the Tiefling was at the head of the recovery efforts, Altair had too much gusto and forward momentum to let anyone else take the lead. Wodan knew that Altair would have the Noble marching to his orders pretty soon and was about to get up himself, when the hench horned humanoid pulled him to his feet.

The exhaustion was still hanging heavy over the Acolyte. “I’m fatigued, not deaf.” He replied to the screaming Champion, rubbing his ears. But before he could get a reply from Altair, the man was off being a hero to the rest of the group. Wodan was half tempted to fall back on his haunches in the sand, the exhaustion was almost too much. “No. Come On.” He said to himself, as he looked over towards the kneeling Tiefling just as she let out an immense scream.

Fuck, that wasn’t good. The despair in her voice, seemingly kicked something into gear inside the Firrerrian and he began stumbling towards the woman. Wodan was about five metres away when he noticed the Tiefling surrounded by a deep pool of blood. Crap that wasn’t good, Fuck, Fuck he began to panic. He had heard a dozen different ways to deal with this, from both the Sith and the Army but right now none of them were sticking with him as he looked down on the pool of blood.

Then it hit him, the sickly sweet metallic smell of blood, smashed into the Firrerrian like a wrecking ball. Crashing through his memories all the way back to Atravis, the pathetic heap of a living being Wodan had been that day. One that lost so many lives had caused so much blood to be spilled, for his failure. Anger and frustration pulsated through him a moment, he had sworn an oath to never have that happen again. Wodan’s golden eyes deepened, their slits becoming narrow, his nostrils flared and his sharp fangs crept over his lips, no one was dying today.

Sprinting the last few metres towards Alia, he slid into the sand coming down onto his knees next to the Tiefling. “Alia, can you hear me. Look at me.” He called to her, as he tried to take stock of her injuries. The tail was missing, but the hand looked worse, blood was pumping from the wound. Taking her gently by the shoulders, he tried to turn the woman over so she would be lying on her back. “Alia, we need to lay you down, then I need you to hold your arm up above you ok.” Wodan explained to her as he guided her body into the position.

As soon as she was on her back he would look around for something to bind her wound. “Sorry.” He said before grabbing her trouser thingy’s just below the knee and ripping them. He was careful to rip downwards away from the Tiefling’s more personal areas. Once he had removed enough fabric, he was able to attempt to bind the wrist as best as possible. Looking back to the assembled people on the beach, he shouted. Not confident he could leave Alia alone without her bleeding to death, he held onto her elevated arm with one hand and her tail with the other. “If anyone found a med kit, I need it, now!”

A dark shape shot toward the shore, emerging as Soleil near Caerllion (@LouJoVi) and Alex (@Tom), both close to the beach. 'Avoid the water!' his mental voice warned, sounding tired and out of focus. He walked himself up the shallows; the reason for his warning was obvious. Slung over his shoulders was a dead crewmember, chunks torn from flesh and blood gushing from her throat. Joining a nasty bruise along Sol's ribs were a number of bleeding lacerations, a cut over his right eye bleeding profusely, and a couple of obvious bite marks. An eel-like creature hung in his mouth with the ragged, unrecoverable chunk of Alia's tail caught in its jaws as it tried to wriggle free. Another was wrapped around his right leg, trying to bite deep into his hip with Sol's hand around its jaws.

With a pronounced crunch he bit down, both hands coming down to wrench the second eel's jaws open so far it broke, dropping both creatures into the sand. Eyes razor-sharp, pupils dilated and nostrils flared, his chest heaved with exertion and pain as he lowered the woman to the sand. Immediately he tried to stem the woman's blood flow like he couldn't in the water. But she was already gone. He shot to his feet and angrily kicked a bit of driftwood before looking around to see- Alia!

He forced himself forward toward Alia (@Wit), Arla (@Phoenix), and Wodan (@Braden). Sol skid down in the sand as Wodan was shouting for help. A crushed-off hand and a torn-off tail, both with major arteries bleeding everywhere. They needed cauterization or she'd bleed to death and Tieflings were immune to fire. His head whipped up, desperately searching for the medkit he'd chucked off the boat earlier- and found Caelian (@Xorism) wrapping a swollen ankle with bacta. Sol's eyes narrowed and his mouth curled toward a fanged snarl.

Abruptly the medpack snapped shut and flew through the air to land among the group treating Alia. 'Good, still' he said with an encouraging tap against Wodan. He pulled out the tourniquet and secured it agonizingly tight above Alia's elbow to stop blood flow for now. Back to the medkit- at which point he noticed the painkiller was also gone. Sol ripped more cloth from Alia's curtain clothing and ruthlessly tightened it down near the base of her tail, twisting it by hand. 'Hold!' Sol added, grabbing Arla's hand and firmly curling her fingers around the tight cloth to keep the improvised tourniquet in place.

With blood-covered hands, he tightly grasped Alia's tail. 'This will hurt' he warned, face set with focus. Fire wouldn't do shit and cold would be temporary and worsen everything, leaving one option. Electricity arced between his fingers and was applied to the stump, smoke curling up as he fought against Alia's natural heat resistance to get a good enough seal. Even if it worked it'd take time. Hopefully it'd be good enough and they'd have enough bacta left to prevent infection.

A flock of birds took off from the trees a good distance inland, disturbed by something or other. Sol didn't notice, but maybe those paying attention closer to the trees would see something. (@Sreeya @lizziie)

Nova was admittedly a bit startled as Caerllion offered his help. Wasn't he that posh noble boy? Did he even know how to use a med kit? Could he possible make himself useful in any way? She blinked a few times, still completely confused before she somehow managed to reply. "Uhm...sure. I guess he's rather okay-...ish" (@LouJoVi) she briefly examined the blonde champion , not being able to suppress a smirk at his sarcastic remark. "Oh come on, you could use some tan" she teased back, rather relieved that he seemed to be doing much better.(@Xorism)

As he began treating himself, she tried to assist as best as she could, yet it soon occurred to her that there had only been two medkits...and then he heard Wodan's voice. She glanced around, trying to locate him, but someone was even faster than that. Sol, who had just joined the group had already summoned the medkit before she could toss it towards them.

Catching a glimpse of Alia, her stomach seemed to turn again. What the hell had happened to the Tiefling?! The sight made her sick, so that she was forced to close her eyes for a second, trying to concentrate on the sounds of the waves caressing the shore right next to them, but that massive hungover was not helping.

The adrenaline seemed to help to some extent, but once she opened her eyes she was already close to throwing up again. She got back to her feet after she had helped Caelian, almost frantically glancing around. Where were they?! And how would they be able to get off that creepy island?!

Their group was scattered and that was probably nothing good, so she tried to somehow gain an overview, but her head hurt too much and this whole situation was simply too confusing to be real. She swallowed hard at the sudden realization that apart from the water Wodan had managed to save, they would sooner or later face severe problems.

Internally she caught herself placing bets. Who would survive the longest without getting eaten by something? Who would be the first to freak out? But before she could come to any solutions, her brain had finally managed to make sense out of those eels that had left the water with Sol. There was something in that water...of course there was. So they were literally stuck here. As she glanced back she noticed that Caelian was not the only one that should be worried about sunburns, as the slightest hints of color he usually had, had also left the Annfyn's face. "Are you okay?" she asked Caer, not quite sure whether he was panicking because of the situation or about anything in particular. Not that she was good at soothing people, but perhaps he had seen something particularly dreadful.

He didn't respond to her question, which either meant things weren't so good or she needed to work on speaking up. But he also came over with a medkit in hand, so her attention was quickly switched back to her leg and its unwelcome guest.

"Yeah, maybe." She had no idea where her home planet was, but that was too long of a story for the current moment. Llolith began to brace herself for the removal as soon as Altair put his hand on the branch, her body tense despite her efforts to relax. Though he was talking, she couldn't really hear him over the internal monologue running through her head at that moment.

"Don't scream. Don't scream. Don't scream. Don't-" "GODS!" She was never going to be ready for it, but while it was a good thing he'd just gone for it, Llolith couldn't keep herself from crying out in pain between gritted teeth. She stayed as still as she could while he finished dressing and packing the wound, then took the blood-soaked branch from him when offered.

"Quite the souvenir. Figured I'd leave the party with a stolen pair of sunglasses or something." She held it away from her, not keen on getting her already dirty clothing further stained with blue splotches of blood.

Altair rushed off and eventually circled back to help out Vahliri, and Llolith spent that time catching her breath. "Fuck." Between some awkward positioning, gritted teeth, and some help from both the Force and the walking stick, Llolith eventually managed to get herself on her feet. One foot, to be exact, as there was no way she was putting any more pressure on her formally-impaled leg.

Llolith didn't really move past that though. She'd caught sight of a flock of birds fleeing from the trees further inland, and had one hand shielding her eyes from the sun as she squinted in that direction. It was entirely possible that something harmless had disturbed the birds - like a tree or branch falling or commotion from fighting animals, for example - but something about it made the hairs on the back of her neck stand up.

"Some trip, huh?" Llolith slowly limped her way over to the Annfyn woman with the help of the walking stick as Altair went off to help someone else.

Tiamat walked in silence, she could still hear the moans and screaming from those who were more seriously injured. She said nothing as she approached the situation with the tiefling female (@Wit) who had lost her tail. Others (@Braden @Mr. Teatime) were trying to help her, the bleeding needed to be stopped and part of her thought they were putting too much effort into preserving her life; her golden eyes watched for a moment longer before she turned her attention to the jungle that covered the area behind them. Despite knowing no one had a clue where they were, they would need to focus on survival and jungle survival was not really her strong suit.

Internally sighing, she turned to see where some of the girls who were lesser injured begun to gather (@LadyRen @LouJoVi @Tom) and seeming to just loiter around. "Start to gather some dry wood for a fire later." she ordered, her voice carrying a sharpness though she would rather see them be useful than do nothing but stare at the clouds. Tia paused for a moment, feeling as though the world was moving without her, a pulsating throb in her head came and subsided, allowing it to pass before she approached Vahl (@Altaris) and another chick (@lizziie) with way too many eyes, "Start moving over there," she pointed to an area seeming cleared of ferns and palms, just leaving the trees to hang high over the sand. It would offer protection from the sun and give them space near some larger palm leaves in case they needed to build a shelter from the elements.

Tia didn't wait for a response from them and instead turned to see what was happening with the rest, and Altair (@Sreeya) too who seemed to have been taking more charge of the situation. However, something caught the corner of her eye, birds quickly taking flight again over the tree's canopy and the woman frowned, her senses extended outward for a hint of what was going on, but didn't feel nothing. It didn't mean there was nothing.

In fact as the group worked to recover and recoup from the crash, a group of nexu were on the prowl, looking for their next meal. The six beasts could smell something different about their home, but what it was, they would yet stumble upon the group.

Alia was drifting in and out of consciousness and perception, words barely drifting into her mind over the pain. She barely noticed Wodan, or Arla, and even Sol's words, whispered into her mind, barely breached the protective barriers that her subconscious had thrown up to keep her from losing her mind in the shock of what had happened. But then the lightning hit and as it was sealing up her wounds, she suddenly jerked upright with a scream of pain, snapping awake.

Panting, tears whose purpose she could not comprehend streaming down her eyes, it took her a moment to realize where she was, and what had happened, and she started at Sol with confusion. Only when she tried to push herself up, looking to press her arm against the ground as leverage and finding nothing, did reality come rushing back to her. "I..." She stopped, having to force herself to look down at her ruined arm, far too scared to even consider looking at her tail, and pursing her lips shut to keep herself from weeping like a baby. Instead she focused on the pattern that the lightning had left around the stump it had cauterized. She focused on the lines radiating from her arm, letting it distract her.

"That...that's a little pretty." She lifted the stump, not fully sealed, but enough to keep her from bleeding out. She gulped, returning her attention to Sol, noticing Arla and WOdan around her and trying to give them a weak smile. "You think I can get one of those fancy arms they show on all the holo-ads? Maybe one with a built in speaker?"

Luckily for the Firrerrian he was shortly joined by Soleil in taking care of the Tiefling. His little skill in First Aid was magnified greatly by the abilities of the Champion, he quickly moved to tend to the woman’s tail. The bleeding was around the same as the hand and needed to be stopped quickly less Aila die of blood loss.

Luckily for Aila’s bleeding tail and unlucky for Wodan’s stomach, Soleil had an effective measure to seal shut the wound. He watched in awe as the Champion went about his work with efficiency, lightning arcs between his fingers before sending the bright sparks into Aila’s tail. Her biology resisted his treatment methods forcing him to go harder and thus create a smell of burning flesh which filled the surrounding area.

The smell crashed into the Acolyte like a wall, it was a smell he had only recently removed from his nightmares. The burning bodies of his soldiers on Atravis had haunted him for months, it had taken months of therapy and successful missions to remove that trauma from his mind. But in an instant Soleil and Aila’s burning tail brought it all back. The tiefling would spot his eyes go wide with fear, before he turned to the side and emptied the contents of his stomach into the sand just next to them.

It was mostly liquid, his previous days diet mostly consisting of alcoholic beverages and assorted mixers. The incoming tide caught the edge of the small pool of bile washing it down into the path of the kneeling Soleil. Turning back, his eyes red from the strain of excavating the contents of his stomach, he smiled at her delirious comment. “I know a great guy on Lianna. Can get you one with a little disco ball as well.” He replied, before looking over to Arla who had joined their trio. “You ok?”
