Caerllion snapped from his panic when he heard Nova’s voice. “Y-yeah, I’m fine.” he said, not wanting to show weakness in front of another Sith. “I’m only a bit tired with all that happened.” he turned to look at Caelian. The Echani really seemed to be fine. The Annfyn wondered why he was using the bacta.

The Acolyte looked around. The place where they had ended seemed to be some type of desert island. Their group wasn’t prepared to deal with such a situation. All of them were still wearing the clothes that they had used during the party and some seemed to have gotten hurt during the accident.

While he was born on a planet covered in forests, Caerllion never experienced a moment like this one. Needing to survive in nature, without any resources, was something completely new for him. He was far more used to going in balls and doing diplomacy than acting as some type of survivalist.

Do you think that we are going to be rescued? Someone should notice that the yacht had disappeared.” he asked Nova, more trying to reassure himself rather than wanting her opinion. “Maybe soon they will send help and we are going to leave this place.” they only needed to survive until it happened.

Altair was distracted from all the chaos when he heard the birds bursting into the sky. The tiefling looked around himself, looking for anyone that was able and ready to join him to investigate. He finally spotted Tiamat in the distance, brows furrowing as he had no clue where she had emerged from. She was barking a few orders which he was thankful for, though he questioned her wilderness survival skills. She was delightfully worthless the last time the two of them were stuck in the woods.

“Hey!” He called out to Tiamat, knowing she would be entirely unhelpful when it came to actually assisting the injured. Tiamat was brilliant, but she was exceptionally choosy about when she wanted to be compassionate. He half expected her to drain someone of life to heal her own injuries at some point - having no clue that she had done just that moments prior, “Come with me,” Altair motioned for her to join him, “I hear some shit..”

The tiefling turned and began to cut through vegetation and plants with the ax he grabbed. He wanted to make it clear to whatever was there that he was coming. Most animals were usually frightened by sudden and abrupt noises and he sought to make himself look threatening and scary. He only hoped his horns wouldn’t signal that he was some sort of herbivore to hunt…

It took a few moments for Vahliri to successfully pull herself out of her own negative headspace. While her anger towards Altair and the relationship was fleeting, her own self-destructive spiral of thoughts was less so - and it took a concerted effort to ground herself back in the present calamity. By the time the half-Annfyn regrouped with the others, there was no trace of the emotional episode left on her expression. Amber eyes promptly flicked over towards Llolith, eyeing the Acolyte for a moment before managing a faint smile. “Wouldn’t be the first Sith party that ended in a crash,”

The half-Annfyn couldn’t help but wince as she glanced over towards Alia, spotting the injuries that the Tiefling had taken to her tail. She had known Altair long enough to understand just how important the prehensive limb was - both to his balance and interactions with others. Sympathy flashed across Vahliri’s features, watching for a few moments as the others began to patch the woman up.

Her attention was abruptly pulled away by the sound of bird taking flight - causing her fluted ears to flatten against the sides of her skull. As worthless in the wild as she might’ve been, the half-Annfyn’s sensitive hearing was more attuned than most in their current environment. She promptly ignored whatever Tiamat had said, amber eyes locked upon the horizon - watching as Altair began to cut his way in that direction. Even above the noise he was making, the half-Annfyn could hear.. Something, drawing close. It was far too large for her to be comfortable, and her eyes only narrowed further as the sound of multiple other sets of footsteps drew in.

The Force flickered within the half-Annfyn’s uninjured hand as she stepped in that direction, slowly and cautiously keeping her gaze on the horizon.

Just as Altair began to investigate the source of the noise, so too did the pack draw inclose to the landing - searching for the change within their environment. While the Tiefling wasn’t wrong about most creatures, his hypothesis didn’t extend to the Nexu - themselves apex predatory on the tropical island. Quite the opposite, the animals were drawn to the rustling in the bushes and the sound of his elevated breath. The scent of blood hung in the air, and it didn’t take long for the pack to circle the group of stranded Sith.

Two of the adult Nexu stalked low to the ground, hanging just beyond the tree-line and close to where Arla, Alia and Wodan were still crouched. They immediately picked up on the wounded Tiefling, primal instinct to pick out the weakest link driving their actions. If at all between the three of them, Arla was the most likely to detect the change in their environment and what was happening.

A single Nexu began to creep through a cluster of ferns, multiple eyes locked onto Caerllion as the Annfyn Noble was distracted and talking to Nova. It was as if the animal could sense that the aristocrat was out of place within the wild landscape, and it kept its body low to the ground - poised to pounce at a moment's notice.

Another pair adult prowled closest to Vahliri and Llolith - soft steps of one moving parallel to the half-Annfyn as she moved through the vegetation, while the other stalked towards the wobbling Acolyte. The scent of her blue blood drew the predator in like a moth to the flame, teeth barred and just barely catching the light of the sun.

A few moments passed, and Altair would only be allowed to progress a few feet further into the vegetation before he met resistance. The noise he made had alerted the final Nexu of his exact location - and it was crouched just a few meters beyond the treeline in wait. Just as the Tiefling carved away at a particular large fern, the sound of twigs snapping would echo out from his left. He would only have a few moments to react before the feline lunged forward and through the vegetation - a combination of claws and fangs poised to sink into the Champion and Tiamat if the Sith Master was close enough. The pack moved in primal synchronization, and the attack of one was signal to the others.

The five remaining Nexu promptly lunged into view - closing in to attack the wounded and potentially unaware group of Sith.

After knowing that at least Caelian was alright now, she quickly let her gaze wander across the scenery. She was frustrated because their prospects were far from perfect. If they couldn't even send a distress call, how long did it take for someone to find them? After all, they could have covered a vast distance during the night.

As a slight panic set in, Caerllion, however, managed to pull her out of those thoughts. "It doesn't seem...like your just tired" she admitted quietly, noticing that her seemed to be worried as well (@LouJoVi). Worry was not good though. Worry made one weak and no one on this forsaken island could afford to show weakness if they wanted to survive.

As Caer asked her, whether someone would rescue them, she couldn't stop herself from slightly shaking her head. Pessimism usually ran deep in the acolyte and her brain was too slow to think this through. She was not trying to worry him, yet she wanted to be realistic. "I...don't know. I mean...we had righer ranked Siths here. I'm not sure whether they would have immediately sent for a bunch of acolytes, yet our chances are probably good with Lady Tiamat here..." she nodded into the direction of the red head not too far away.

Nova usually hated if someone like the instructors gave her any orders, yet she was now even appreciating Lady Tiamat's firm voice. She needed something to focus on and so she nodded, pulling herself together. "You stay here...and rest I guess" she ordered into the direction of Caelian who was still on the ground (@Xorism). It was probably a better idea for him to stay seated for now.

"Come". Let's gather wood" she briefly said to Caer, grabbing his elbow and assertively pulling him with her. They all needed to do their jobs knows to secure maybe something like a camp until someone would eventually stumble upon them.

With that immense headache, she didn't immediately sense that something was off, but once she started yanking Caer into the direction of the bushes she suddenly saw something wagging. At first, she thought it was a snake, but as she squinted, trying to make a meaning out of this, she suddenly realized that this was a tail. A tail of something big. "FUCK!" she blurted out, frantically glancing around, "THERE'S SOMETHING LURKING IN THE-", but before she could finished, the Nexu sprang out.

The vicious beast charged and Nova was convinced it was a good idea to try to Force Push it, however she was way to slow to to anything about it. She did somehow still move forward and inbetween her and Caer, yet the beast mercilessly tackled her and pushed her to the ground, her head even slamming against a rock on her way down. The headache immediately intensified, and Nova -now being severely dazed- could barely feel how the sharp claws were rammed into the flesh of her left shoulder. With the row of razor sharp teeth exposed it loomed over her, sending out a loud, terrible growl , just on the brink of tearing the acolyte into pieces.

Tiamat heard Altair call out and she turned to face him, silent for a moment, the gold in her eyes were fading and her blues were becoming brighter when she gave a nod. He directed her to follow him, informing he heard something. "The birds..." she said looking back at the sky; she followed him into the vegetation as he cut through with his axe. He wasn't bothering with the amount of noise he was making and she hoped whatever lived in the jungle would leave them be as they investigated.

The woman kept quiet and to herself, senses veining outward as she kept vigilant of her surroundings. Normally she would have been all for boats and islands, but now this mishap was leaving her with a bitter taste. It was environments like this that she wanted to just be back in her lab, but she couldn't find her longing to even daydream about it. Something felt off in her gut and before she could reach up to stop Altair from another hacking with his axe, the predator revealed itself.

Lunging at the pair, the Sith master thrusted her uninjured palm forward, the darkside leaving her fingertips and colliding into the beast before it would even land. The power behind the woman was great, enough to knock back the beast or even stun it as it plowed headfirst into the wall of energy. She could feel the predatory hunger from the animal, but it had picked the wrong animal to attack today.

Caelian sat frustrated with his injury, the bacta would help, but it'd take some time before he would be able to use the limb properly. It was then that he actually noticed the hustle and bustle around the more injured members of the party, their pained yelling and frantic movements seem to point to a more grave injury than the one he suffered.

A mixture of awkward shame and embarrassment loomed over the Echani as he realised that he had used a valuable medical supply that might have been better used by another. With his bare hands, he shovelled piles of sand over the pack, looking over his shoulder and concealing his crime from anyone that already hadn't seen.

Caer and Nova wandered off, leaving him to singularly mingle, after all there wasn't exactly much help he could offer without hopping all over the place and getting in everyone's way. Looking around him for inspiration, he noticed that there was a decent supply of seashells within reach, which he immediately began collecting into a small pile. Whether this was caused by the concussion, he'd never know.

Trapped on an island with no way out, he surmised that they would have to find a way to live there until someone eventually came looking for them, but in the meantime, they would have to make do.

The more able-bodied members would be able to go out and hunt and gather the resources they needed to survive, if their stay was longer than a few days, then he decided that the seashells would make a perfect ad hoc currency for their little island emirate. If he was smart, and he was, he'd have a head start on their hoarding and would be able to shore up the market as it were, a perfect plan. And if he collected enough quickly, he might have enough spare to make a cute little necklace from them too.

Suddenly from afar he heard a more pronounced yell that he came to recognise as coming from the familiar Nova, not entirely making out what the heck she said he turned to face her as something leaped out from the brush onto her. Caelian sat shocked, taking a second to process what the heck was attacking before springing into action and attempting to grapple the Nexu that was attacking Nova.

The big scary beast was in full assault and didn't notice his attack at first, the malicious strands of the force wrapping themselves around its head before pulling it aggressively. He had hoped to choke it, or in some ways disable it's attack to give her a chance to defend herself. In one way he succeeded, unfortunately his success was more detrimental to his own person as the Nexu looked up and noticed the Echani sitting helpless nearby before leaping off Nova and prowling quickly toward him.

Caelian panicked, staring it directly in the eyes as his doom approached.

When Nova questioned his answer, Caerllion only felt his headache becoming worse. He wasn’t in the mood to argue, even less wanting to admit that he was afraid and panicking in front of other Sith. Due to that, he continued lying. “I also have a big headache right now. I only wanted to sleep a bit.

Yeah, I think that you are right.” the Annfyn agreed with her. Since Tiamat was here, they at least have a chance of being rescued if someone came after her. Because without any doubt someone would want to save the Sith Master. She was important to the Empire and probably had several followers and supporters.

The Annfyn groaned when Nova dragged him to collect wood. Caerllion didn’t want to go inside some unknown wood in search of twigs to light a fire. He only wanted to curl in the sand and sleep, was it asking too much?

Before they could reach the woods, Caerllion was already mentally complaining about needing to do it. He not only never lit a fire, but was also too tired to think logically. The Acolyte was basically dreaming with his bed, while his eyes were still open.

Due to his sleepy state, the Acolye barely saw the Nexu jump at Nova. His mind only understood what was happening when the creature moved to attack Caellian. Using what remained of his strength, the Annfyn created a ball of Korriban magick and threw it at the creature. Once it collided against the thing’s pelt, it exploded and set the back of the animal on fire.

Altair was indiscriminately swinging his ax around, effectively cutting himself a path deeper into the forest where he could hear the noise. He only managed to spot a blur of movements as the beast lunged at him. He prepared haphazardly with the ax, but the Nexu abruptly collided with an invisible barrier before it was tossed bodily back against a tree with a heavy thud. Altair blinked for a moment before casting Tiamat a quick side glance, “Aww, you do care,” He flashed her a wink and grin before bolting towards the Nexu to finish it off.

The Nexu was sluggish for a moment, but it began to get up after being dazed. Altair didn’t hesitate as he channeled the Force to himself and the strike he was about to land. The tiefling quickly closed the distance, bringing down the ax directly on the Nexu’s head. The beast managed to lash out with a claw right as the ax buried into its skull and broke right through it with Altair’s Force enhanced attack. There was a low growl as the beast collapsed on the ground.

Altair yanked the ax out with all his might, the Nexu bleeding out on the ground, beyond dead. He stepped back from it and looked back at Tiamat. He briefly glanced back at his chest where he was now sporting a thin gash. It wasn't deep, but it certainly stung. He almost opened his mouth to say something, but he paused for a moment. His face furrowed a bit, “Do you…hear screaming back from the beach?” He asked suddenly. Had the Nexu coordinated their attacks? Were there more back on the beach attacking the other Sith?!

The tiefling’s eyes widened as he looked back the way they came. He began to shuffle in that direction with his bloody ax, “Come on, let’s hope no one’s eaten!” Altair did a double take as he looked at Tiamat again, “Stop reaching for those berries, they’re poisonous,” He said sternly, giving her a brief scowl before he continued on his way back.

Llolith made a noncommittal noise in response to Vahliri as her attention had been drawn away from the woman to Tiamat. The redhead barked out an order to the two of them - pointing to a clearing as she did so - then promptly turned away and went off to do something else. It wasn't a bad space at all, though Llolith would have probably picked something closer to fresh water.

She turned back to look at Vahliri, intending on saying something along the lines of "alright, let's go", but the champion's attention seemed otherwise occupied. "Is something there...?" Just as Llolith finished calling out to her though, she could feel faint vibrations in the ground. The acolyte's ears weren't even close to being on par with Vahliri's, but she could still feel the approach of many somethings.

This meant that though Llolith was far from ready, she at least wasn't surprised when a pair of nexu exited the treeline toward her and @Vahliri Kahtal. One of the creatures slowly began to approach Llolith. It could smell her blood, and knowing she was injured, it didn't seem to think rushing her was necessary.

"<GO! GET OUT OF HERE!>" Llolith began to shout at the creature, defaulting to the consonant-heavy tones of her native language. Though she wasn't familiar with the creature, she did know it was a predator. That (hopefully) meant it would avoid prey willing to put up a fight. "<I BITE!>" She bared her own fangs, widened all nine of her eyes as much as she could, and thrashed her free hand around in the air to make herself seem bigger and meaner than she actually was. Shouting and waving at the thing was less than ideal, but while she was unable to put weight on her leg, this was her best bet.

Goddess be blessed, the sudden commotion seemed to work for now. The male nexu began to shrink back, though it seemed far from fearful and perhaps just a bit reluctant. Llolith had no idea if it would come back or go off to find another target, so she quickly turned her attention to Vahliri. Assuming the other nexu had gone forward with attacking the Annfyn, Llolith would outstretch her free hand and concentrate as hard as she could on making sure the predator couldn't move a muscle.

Arla put her arm around her Sister, doing her best to comfort her about her loss. She was clearly quite broken up, and Arla had never been much of a comforter type.

It'll be okay, Alia. We'll get you all fixed up, she said, nodding along to what Wodan said. Yeah, I'll go with you if you want, she said. When Wodan asked how she was doing she glanced down at her side. Already it had turned all purple and blue from the impact and the broken ribs.

I think some things are broken, but I'm not dying, she said, which was more than she felt like she could say for some people.

It was only then that she picked up something wrong. Dathomir had well familiarized her with the sound of predators moving through foliage, and it was unmistakable to her now.

Something's coming! she warned the rest of their small group as all chaos broke loose.

She knew she was not in great shape, so rather than try to fight the creatures, she began moving away, trying to help Alia to a safer location.

Wodan, can you fend it off? she asked. He seemed to be in relatively good health, and she hoped he would be able to handle it. If not, perhaps she would find a way to assit him.

Nova definitely noticed the reluctance within this long eared pale skinned noble or whatever he was. She was dearly hoping he wasn't spoiled enough not to get his hands dirty. "Stop crying. It'll only be a while, then you'll be able to nap. I've got a headache too....but I guess we should really try to set up a provisional camp". (@LouJoVi)

Well...it soon turned out that setting up a camp was definitely none of their greatest concerns. As Nova found herself on the ground, being pinned down but that huge beast, her head was unrelentlessly pounding while her shoulder stung like hell. The thick, sharp claws had definitely not missed their target, but all of a sudden the Nexu let her go.

Still dazed, she rolled over, trying to catch a glimpse of what had caught the animal's attention, just to realize that the Echani was the Nexu's next target. "Caelian!" she found herself sending out a warning shout, the buzzing headache however sending another wave of agony through her slightly numb body.(@Xorism)

She still somehow managed to push herself back to her feet, just to see that Caerllion had already set the beast on fire. She stared at the now burning Nexu wide-eyed as the realization hit her that the Echani might be set on fire as well. The Nexu sent out another ear-piercing roar before preparing to pounce, yet Nova still hoped she could somehow prevent another tragedy from happening.

Focusing on the pain, she tried to block out the dizziness for a brief moment just to gather the right amount of dark energy to release it right on the burning, growling Nexu. Electricity crackled from the tips of her fingers right before the flamed Nexu was hit by the Force Lightning. She didn't quite know how, but it seemed like the panic that had set in and the rage that had followed had resulted in quite a decent attack that would hopefully knock the huge cat out before it could harm anyone.

Caelian's attack had gone miserably and as if in divine judgement of his failure the Nexu was set on punishing the errant Echani. Immediately jumping backward, he shuffled in a vain attempt to create some distance between himself and the fur ball of hatred, without much luck owing to his lame leg.

His unlikely heroes from afar were quick to respond in the hour of need, the ferocious feline burst in an eruption of dark magicks and mere moments later the familiar sight of force lightning tore through the air and into the fiery Nexu with a tremendous amount of force.

Attempting to contribute to this stunning display, Caelian reached out with the force to pick up a handful of seashells and launch them at the incoming predatory foe in the hopes of distracting it. The blanket of shells flew in an instant and pelted the enraged beast from head to toe, its effect was apparent and quickly noticed by all.

Well, that's what he was planning to tell everyone anyway, even if it was mostly @Caerllion of Cyfnos and @Nova Trent that did most of the heavy lifting should the mighty feline fall to their combined attack.

As Altair gave her a side glance, Tiamat's own gaze met his, eyebrow popping as he gave her a cheek comment accompanied by a wink and grin. Her cheeks glowed red, a stark comparison to her skin that looked abnormally pale even for her naturally light color. "I care not to become lunch." she responded, though slightly annoyed, trying to figure out how he can still be in such decent mood. She felt like shit, acolytes were still wallowing and screaming on the beachside, and at this point, she wished the nexu that attacked would attack them instead. It would at least give a reason for their screaming.

It seemed though, the screaming was more concerning for Altair, her eyes resting on the scratch he received from the creature's last will and testament to its predatory standing. She opened her mouth to say something but paused as Altair started back to the beach. He seemed more concerned than she was about the others and Tiamat let out a long sigh, reaching for some berries for a snack to help soothe some of her uncomfortableness by satiating her growling stomach.

Altair seemed to know she would be reaching for them of course, and mentioned something about them being poisonous. The woman scowled at him. She wasn't sure what irritated her more, not being able to eat, or him caring enough to warn her.

"Why do you do that?!" she yelled back at him, "What is your goal? To earn favor? Helping me, helping them?" she shook her head in confusion as she followed him back to the beach. The screaming grew louder and there was the distinct sound of animals growling, "Don't help them, Altair."

Altair paused mid-way as Tiamat addressed him. He whipped around to stare at her, an incredulous look on his face. However, it was quickly beginning to be replaced by agitation. His tail betrayed as much with how only the very tip of it began to flick. He had spent enough time around Tiamat to be familiar with this side of her. She lashed out whenever things got too fluffy and it was exactly why it was always impossible to progress with her. While normally he had the patience for it, it was grating on him now that there were people dying on the beach and they were in the middle of a crisis.

“Maybe I like keeping you around so I can have a nice, kinky fuck once in a while,” He spat at her as he turned to face her fully, “Is that what you wanna hear, Tiamat? Is that easier to hear than the fact that I might actually give a shit about people?” His fingers curled into fists, “You’re a god damn Sith Master. Those people there-” He jutted a finger to point back towards the beach, “-are counting on you and looking to you as a leader. So take that saber outta your ass and be one, He likely started a fight right then and would be torn apart, but he didn’t care. His jaw tightened and he shook his head, turning to head back towards the beach to join the others.

“At least one of us has to,” Altair muttered quietly under his breath as he continued to walk.

Far before she could see the Nexu, Vahliri’s sensitive hearing had begun to pick up on the sound of movement beyond the treeline - the snapping of twigs and snarls immediately catching her attention and causing her fluted ears to flatten against the sides of her skull. Her gaze flicked to follow Altair, watching as the Tiefling carved further into the jungle and towards the source of the predatory noises.

Before she could call out to him, however, the half-Annfyn was interrupted by movement much closer to her.

Amber eyes snapped towards the treeline to her left, and immediately widened as the vegetation gave way to the beast stalking within - pouncing forth with claws barred, teeth glinting against the filter light streaming through the canopy. She didn’t so much as have an opportunity to step backwards before several hundred pounds of Nexu slammed against her small frame - causing the half-Annfyn to topple to the ground, pinned beneath its weight. While Llolith had successfully scared off her attacker due to her unique appearance, Vahliri had no such opportunity.

A yelp of pain escapes past her lips, feeling as the claws of the feline dug viciously into her shoulder and upper arms to keep her pinned to the ground - blood trickling freely beneath the razor-like digits.

Before the Nexu could sink it’s fangs into her throat, Vahliri lifted her forearm up from the ground - her open palm pointed to face the Nexu even as she was pinned beneath it. The Force billowed from her fingertips, slamming against the torso of the Feline and promptly sending it several feet backwards. The sudden push elicited a panicked swiping from the Nexu - managing to score two claw-marks across the left side of Vahliri’s face traveling from her jawline and deep into the middle of her cheek, complete with a pained cry from the half-Annfyn.

With her one functional arm, Vahliri scrambled backwards and attempted to push onto her feet to face the Nexu - sparks of electricity crackling within her fingertips. Just as the Nexu rose to pounce her once again, the Beast zone in place - muscles growing tense and straining as Llolith channeled the Force to stasis the Feline.

Vahliri glanced over to the Acolyte for only a split-second before focusing her attention back into the Nexu - launching a single bolt of violet lightning towards its head.

She saw the tail flicker and she knew she had his attention, she could see him conjuring his response as she finished. She hit a nerve, impeding on his opportunity to play hero. He would be too stubborn to just let it go and she was ready for the rebuttal, at least she thought she was.

He didn't get past his first sentence when the woman started to see red; it was hard to hear what else he was saying, something about caring? Not being who she was? She thought herself to be softer than most for a sith master, but that point would be moot. Her blue eyes faded back to amber as he started to direct her what she was doing wrong, what she wasn't doing and that ignited a fury within the woman.

She grasped her broken wrist, pain rippled through her body as she tried to do anything but lash out, however, him turning back around, leaving her as he muttered something else, was too much for that moment. The darkside rippled from the woman, the trees bent and cracked from the sheer power that poured from her, "Fine, if you want to help them, go ahead."

Though, Altair would encounter a new obstacle as the jungle seemed to turn on him, the path he cut down was now obstructed by fallen trees, vines and palms, creating a thick wall to barricade him from going forward. The sandy soil started to give way from beneath him, as the longer he stood, the further he would feel his feet sink into the ground. It was clear that the woman was going to make it difficult and next to impossible for him to help the others.

His entire thought process was centred around the dieing Tiefling and trying not to throw up, so the Firrerrian did not notice the approaching creatures behind him. “That’s good, we can give it a look once Aila is stable.” He replied to the Dathmorian, her ribs were not as dire as the Tiefling’s wounds, but they could worsen over time if not treated correctly. A half dozen warzones had at least taught him that much.

It was at that moment, Arla informed them of their incoming visitors, caught unaware Wodan scrambled to his feet as the Nexu moved from cover and began advancing on its ‘Prey’. With little time to react, the Acolyte was only able to grab a small plastic chair which had floated nearby. Raising the makeshift weapon up towards the Nexu, he swung it from side to side, keeping the creature at bay whilst the others were able to back away.

“Get moving.” He shouted over his shoulder as he tried to manoeuvre the creature away. The Nexu refused however, the creature understanding it had a friend which was slowly circling Wodan about to maul the Firrerrian.

Beads of sweat formed on her face and her teeth ground into one another as she did her best to maintain concentration on keeping the nexu from moving. She was already in pain - every movement shot pain down her leg - and it had left her drained of energy. If she hadn't been catapulted off the ship and into a stick, perhaps she might have been able to hold the predator a little longer, but that sadly wasn't the case.

The crackle of lightning filled the humid island air, and she let out a cry of pain as exhaustion won the struggle. As Vahliri's lightning crashed into the nexu, Llolith lost her hold on the creature and collapsed to the ground. It was just enough though, thankfully. The nexu was released but immediately began seizing up from the champion's attack. Its fur stood straight up, and the smell of burnt flesh replaced the clean, salty ocean breeze. As soon as Vahliri stopped the lightning, the creature would follow in Llolith's footsteps and collapse to the ground. Unlike the spider-eyed acolyte though, it began twitching as rigor mortis set in.

"Breathe. Breathe."

Llolith had a death grip on the walking stick Altair had given her, doing her best to keep from completely falling over. She was completely fatigued, but she couldn't let the black splotches at the edge of her vision take over now. "There's still another one nearby," she reminded herself. "Where is it?"

Just as she finished that thought, she felt heavy and close vibrations in the ground as something barreled toward her from behind. Llolith whipped her head around to watch as the male nexu made his return, flying through the air with his teeth bared and claws outstretched, toward her.

Altair turned to make his way back and saw the forest itself begin to resist him. He started chopping through it, but he suddenly felt himself beginning to slip into the sand beneath his feet. The tiefling yelled out as he began to sink, and he clawed and scratched to keep from going deeper. He used the ax to slam it into a root, “Why…the fuck do you want them all..to die?!” He called out through gritted teeth.

He half clawed his way out and turned towards Tiamat with a glare, “I’m sick of your shit, Tia!” He snapped before channeling the Force and blasting it out towards her to send her flying back. She would know it wasn’t with his full strength, intended to simply make her topple on her ass and break her focus from doing whatever the hell she was doing.

“You care…about no one…but your damn self,” He said in between exhales as he continued to climb and attempted to stand.
