Nergal stiffened up when the offer was made and his head snapped to show Ervius had Nergals undivided attention. "Do you mean like actual sith magic or force illusion abilities?" He asked, voice brimming with curiosity and eagerness to learn.
As far as he knew both would be fantastic to learn a bit about but the clear distinction between the two was that the latter was a lesser version, you could make someone see something that might make them afraid and the like. The magic on the other hand could convince someone they were on fire with enough mastery and the body would react to it causing someone to have their flesh act as if on fire as well. It was that subtle line between seeing and feeling between the two disciplines of course the force illusion wouldn't really leave much of trace besides the experience as a vague memory if done right.
He moved to sit down on his bed so that he was as comfortable as possible so that he could absorb everything Ervius had to offer. There wasn't really any option to learn anything of the sort in the academy as sith magic or force magic of any kind was under rather a few restrictions. Restrictions an acolyte couldn't even hope to touch.
