This thread occurs between the battles on Onderon and events of Ruusan. Thus, any Jedi, Resistance, or characters affiliated with either group may participate in this thread regardless of their fate beyond Ruusan.
Kashyyyk was a gorgeous, largely untamed world. It was home to countless variety of species in its dense jungles, one of which were the wookiees. The Wookiees of Kashyyyk had found their home world under bombardment from the Sith Empire not too long ago, which had left entire sections of the world destroyed and for a time uninhabitable. However, time changes all things and heals all wounds, this was doubly true for Kashyyyk as the Wookiees had taken to healing their world from the wounds of war. The planet now was almost devoid of the scars left behind from the Sith and one would have to dig deeply into the dense jungles to find any remnant of healed wounds.

But it hadn’t been planetary healing that had brough Zak and other members of his Order to the Wookiee’s homeworld. No, instead it had been the ill tidings from war in a different sector entirely. The Senator of Kashyyyk had announced a resettlement program which allowed refugees from Sith attacks to come and stay on their world. This program attracted countless victims of the most recent attack, the Onderonian refugees who had come seeking shelter. This was the reason why Zak and other members of the Jedi had come, to aid in the resettlement process as best as they could.

The village the Wookiees had assigned to the Onderonian refugees was a vast one, built into the massive trees native to Kashyyyk. The village was nestled about 40 feet up into the trees and on either side of a vast river. With bridges connecting the trees on either side of the river and a larger set of bridges passing over the river itself. To describe the temporary home the Wookiees had provided as idyllic would have been an understatement.

The sheer beauty of the village caused Zak to pause for a moment in absolute wonder at what was before him. A smile appeared on his face as his eyes fell from the cozy treetop homes for the Onderonians and down to the river that flowed out into the mouth of a fresh water bay. He quickly pulled out his data pad and sent a group message to all that had volunteered to aid in this humanitarian mission.

Beach day once everyone and everything is settled in? - 14:24

Once the message was sent, Zak slid his data pad back into his pocket, picked up a box of supplies and carried it out onto the platform. He hoped these people would find some measure of peace here…

And that he could find a tan on that beach!

Mundane....even for as important as this program was, Tristan still considered it mundane to some degree. In his view knights should be out on the battlefield. Spurring on the cause of peace. Tristan did not mean to sound conceded but it was his view, as was his master's that the goal of a Jedi is foremost to be a warrior. Warrior for the noblest of goal but warriors none the less, and warriors don't relegate themselves to things such as this. The catch being however that bodies are bodies, thrown into combat or thrown into volunteer work such as this. He should of been on Onderon, fighting but his master effects came first, she was more important. Tristan mainly signed up for this venture because he could subconsciously almost hear the scorning tone of his old master if he didn't and partly because he had missed the Baptism of fire that should of been Onderson and figured he owed it to the people to help them now. With the ladder carrying more of the reason why than the former. Even in death she seemed to assert a strong influence on him and his actions.

Regardless Tristan kept his views to himself as he disembarked off his ship and began the walk to the coordinates given to him. His eyes trekked upward to witness a village built into the very trees themselves, with spider-webbing like bridges and walkways across to felicitate travel. a sharp intake of air was followed by a deep exhale as he made his way up, his ship growing smaller and smaller as he ascended.

His robes would on occasion catch the wind blowing open, reveling his belt and its containments including his lightsabers. His outer robes hadn't been removed, despite the temperature of the world if he had his way, they would stay on for the duration of his stay on Kashyyyk. That is unless he was given a good enough reason to remove them.

finally he reached the village, abuzz with refugees moving to and fro, among them he could spot one or two volunteers. Not being sure how he was meant to help these people, he asked a passerby and was pointed towards a large set of supplies, mostly boxed. With little on his mind he effortlessly lifted on the boxes and became the second in what he predicted to be a long convoy of supply carrying Jedi. He named himself second for he was not the only one currently directed to drop some supplies off it seems....

First Kashyyyk, now Onderon. A Jedi’s work was never ending, but it was a lifestyle that Quin loved. It was far superior to an otherwise unremarkable life in spending all day worrying about what colors to wear to a fancy dinner party or arguing back and forth about things he cared little about.

Besides, if he had never become a Jedi, he most definitely would’ve missed out on this particular mission. Despite the unfortunate circumstances its residents were in, this village had one of the best views he’d ever seen, with a sparkling beach that he was sure he’d seen somewhere in one of those holovideo advertisements for tourists. He was almost done handing out food and drinks to the Onderonians in the makeshift mess hall when he felt his datapad buzz with a new message, and he glanced down to see what it was. Beach day? Count me in!

That gave him something to look forward to, and he finished the rest of his task with a little extra pep in his step and an even bigger smile on his face. Once he made sure all the refugees had gotten their lunches and everything was cleaned up, Quin would go down to the beach to wait for whoever else was coming.

There are days for war and days for life. He knew one couldn't be fully prepared for war if one wants to enjoy life. Right now was his day for life, and so he worked on doing the work a Jedi should be. Hearing his datapad going on he wished he had turned it off. Half those messages were spam and he couldn't bring up the courage to even look at whatever spam he got now. What could these Wookiees even send out as spam anyway?

Wayson had landed nearby ready to go off just in case things go terribly, like an awkward unnecessary beach party after work. I know companies across the galaxy try to entice their workers by giving them silly parties and only providing a thin slice of space pizza and expired off-brand space coke.

Walking up to the supply boxes that needed to be carried to various other points in the village. The boxes would contain food, building tools, and a hundred other things needed to help the people that will live in this village to make it a home. There was another Jedi there, a human who was wearing way too much for the heat they were experiencing. Wayson was dressed in just a cream tunic and brown pants with his lightsabers hanging off his belt so others can see who he was.

"Hey friend, want some help carrying those boxes?" @Apostate Satanicus , Wayson said walking up to the other Jedi channeling the Force into his body and strengthening his muscles. Using both of his arms to grab two different boxes, not for show but to help speed things up.

"Name's Wayson, yours?" Wayson would stand waiting for the other Jedi hoping perhaps he will have someone to talk to while helping to set up the village.

" Tristan..." he spoke tilting his head before responding, " I don't believe i do, but i appreciate it regardless" another volunteer, he could contextually deduce as he neared the end of the rickety and downright slightly poorly constructed bridge, laying the supplies down in a preestablished pile. Turning his back to said Jedi momentarily before turning back again to offer him a counter preposition. Something to speed up what he knows will be at least a few hours of mundane carrying and walking.

"As much as i would love to carry every single one of those boxes across the bridge to here, i think just calling upon the force to aid us would be smarter and quicker my friend @Richie B. "

pointing towards a Togruta @Apollyon situated a few feet away, who he could sense with clarity was a force sensitive and again if context clues were used, he was more than likely a Jedi too. Tristan was carful not to make assumptions as a given rule but in this case every possible factor pointed towards the Jedi hypothesis other any other

"Even more so, if we can enlist the help of more than two. to move these supplies en masse"

he would of pointed out the other Force adept he felt near by but since that individual wasn't in clear sight he opted to just go with who was viewable.

Zak had stacked a trio of moving crates and supplies from a nearby freighter and followed a young family from the docking platform to their temporary home. Alongside the Torguta trotted a diminutive Zabrak girl who chatted away mindlessly to the "fwiendly man" who was helping her family. She asked him questions ranging from what his montrals did, to how his skin got to be so colorful, to her favorite dolly. To his credit Zak merrily chuckled at the girl's innocent questions and answered each one, not only to the best of his abilities but also in ways that she could understand.

As they walked, Zak recognized the girl's favorite doll at the top of a pile within a crate he was carrying, he gently gripped the doll with the Force and guided it down to the young girl. She shrieked in excitement and awe as in her opinion, this nice man had just used magic to give her the doll. She snatched the doll from the awe, snuggled her face against it, before thank Zak and darting off into her new home to play with her doll. After the young girl was gone, her parents thanked Zak for his kindness but the Togruta humbly told them that it was simply his duty, the Force had guided him to them and he was happy to help them.

Zak would eventually emerge from the family's home after helping the parents arranging their house and then calling out a good bye to their daughter. Once he exited the house, his datapad vibrated, it was a reply from a Jedi volunteer who was excited for the beach. He quickly tapped out a reply to the group.

Awesome! I just hope I get a good tan! - 15:24

Once the message was sent, he slid the datapad back into his pocket and looked up. Not too far from him stood a pair of Jedi volunteers, they were conversing while toting several crates with the Force. He smiled and waved over to them as he approached.

"Why hello there!" Zak called out to them as he got closer. "I am Knight Zakrym La, but you can call me Zak!" He greeted in a cheery tone before reaching his hand out to shake both of their hands. "Thanks for coming out to help these people, I know it means a lot to them." He continued, glancing over his shoulder before his gaze returned and drifted between the pair of them. "But hey, let me help you with those!" He stated suddenly, realizing that he should probably be helping with the work rather than idly chatting.

With that Zak would reach out through the Force and gingerly pull a pair of boxes from the ground below and upwards to him. A small bead of sweat formed on his forehead and dripped down his lekku as he concentrated on moving the crates at a decent pace while also avoiding the branches of the tree to ensure there was no damage to the contents. Once he had brought them up from the forest floor and onto the wooden bridge, he allowed them to fall to the ground in front of him with a small crash. He hadn't expected that to exert as much energy as it had.

"So, are you guys coming to the beach afterwards?" He asked between small huffs. "It'll be a blast for sure!"

Wayson knew that any Jedi could handle the supplies the purpose was more to get to know the other guy. Wayson doesn't have many friends in the Jedi Order so he was going to have to try and figure out how to make some the hard way. While Wayson was carrying the two boxes without much effort he could see the other Jedi didn't have the same willingness for mundane work. As he carried two crates with relative ease due to the Force. This would just be a few minutes or even a few hours out of a day, no need to rush when the people here probably felt better knowing the Jedi were around.

"If you want to sure, feel like it would be just as effective to walk them over where we can be seen by the people." (@Apostate Satanicus )Wayson said with a little shrug, putting the boxes down and beginning to concentrate with the Force to move several of them to a nearby home.

Perhaps watching boxes fly out to their homes would be just as comforting knowing they had literal space wizards helping them out. Wasn't like the Jedi had been able to walk among the common folk a lot recently.

When the third Jedi came back to help them move the objects Wayson smiled feeling the other Jedi had a more outgoing and social personality. Or perhaps Wayson was being too quick to judge, who was to know for sure?

"Thanks, Zak. How many more crates do you think we need to move anyway?" (@Apollyon )As Wayson called on the Force, he was feeling the weight of each soul around him those that had lost someone and now were struggling to build a new home. It weighed like a mountain on his heart knowing that he was unable to do more than ease their burdens instead of removing them entirely.

Was life always going to be like this for him? Dealing with the aftermath of a crisis that he had no control over? Even without the Sith, there were still accidents, other bad people, and honest-to-Force fights that had no clear wrong and right side. Wayson doubted even with decades of experience he would ever find this experience easier for him. Perhaps he was being too sensitive but that was kind of the point of being a Jedi, you were more sensitive to both the Galaxy around you and the person just inside a nearby building.

When Zak had mentioned the beach, the Jedi paled. Why? He hadn't brought a swimsuit! Would that mean he would have to get his pants wet or worse reveal his undergarments to everyone? He was a Jedi surely he had nothing to be embarrassed about right?

"Beach party? What beach party? Who said there was going to be a beach party?" Wayson asked these questions nearly losing the grip he had on the boxes and having to turn away from his fellow Jedi and using both hands to help with his control bringing the crates down gently.

"I mean, yea a beach party sounds like fun. Is there going to be food?" Wayson asked after a second to compose himself.

The Jedi filled a variety of roles across the Galaxy. Warriors, healers, scholars, diplomats, Teachers. Brienna Lanaamer usually best described her role in fairly simpler terms. Helper. She much preferred doing the job of aiding those who needed it rather than fighting on the battlefield. Today was one of those days. A group on Onderonian refugees had been resettled on Kashyyyk. They were in need of supplies and a helping hand to get back on their feet. A few Jedi had answered the call and were making a trips back and forth to unload and unpack supplies. Bri was in the cargo hold of one of the ships, performing a quick inventory of the crates left to be unloaded.

Wroshyr trees dominated the landscape. The impressive pines stretched as far as the eye could see. Which was quite a distance, as they supplied were being unloaded about 40 feet above the ground. The refugee settlement was being constructed in between and connected to a few of the wroshyr trees. Further below, a river snaked through the landscape, and opened up to a bay with a near pristine looking beach. Bri had heard her datapad ding with notification, and imagined that an afternoon of relaxation was likely in store after the hard work was done. Speaking of which.

Bri leaned down and grabbed another crate, grunting as she lifted it up off the floor of the ship. She watched her footing down the ramp of the ship and stepped back into the Kashyyykian sunlight. It was a pleasant, but warm day. The Jedi had dressed accordingly. A beige tank top, and pair of shorts along with dark brown work boots made up her outfit. Her blonde hair was tied in a ponytail, and she sported a pair of sunglasses to help keep the brightness out of her eyes. As she walked down the wooden walkways, she spotted a group of male Jedi conversing by some of the crates. Bri knew they were working just as hard as she was, but couldn't resist the opportunity for some light teasing.

"Come on boys, less chatting, more carrying!" she laughed, as she walked past group of three.

responding to his new friend he said.
"I think it shows them a softer side of the Order, supply moving refugee helpers. Not lasersword soldiers"
Tristan was likewise amicable to the Jedi's warm welcome.
"Hello, I'm Tristan and yeah we would love some help, faster we get this done faster we can relax"

With the third Jedi in tow Tristan began reaching out with the force as identified by the outstretching of his hands, he began to move crate after crate. He would of moved more at a time but his fear was knocking one against another or worse, accidently dropping one. With every crate he moved across the bridged he piled them up in a slightly crooked pile. After lifting his Ten crates across he considered his "part" of the labor done.

He couldn't respond with a snarky comeback to the girl who had pasted, as would of been typical of him so he just laughed with it having finished his portion.

Stepping back from the bridged and while making his way down to the beachfront is when he realized those things were a bit heavier than he had expected, having broke a tiny sweat. Tristan partly blamed it on his attire as well. Thick cloth robes that dangle past the knees while iconic to the Jedi weren't also practical for worlds like Kashyyyk. he promptly removed them to revel a of standard non-descript Jedi tunic. While still long-sleeved and made with thick fabric he could feel the difference immediately.

Brown eyes, which like to appear tough secretly liked the idea of a day on the beach. He deserved it after all. Being a defender of the galaxy doesn't come with a wage and more often than not the chances of death were high. The little things like this helped to keep him motivated. He was a Jedi to do good, to defend the helpless and such. the philosophy meant little to him so his motivations weren't derived from a idealistic point of view. This is why Beach day sounded fun to him....

Under the hot afternoon sun and taking advantage of the fact that no one had arrived at the beach yet, Quin had found an isolated spot behind the place and changed from his standard Jedi robes to a simple t-shirt and swim pants that he normally brought in his bag. As he went back to wait for the others, he entertained himself by finding and trying to skip some shells on the water(which didn’t work well, quite frankly. He was tempted to use the Force, but wouldn’t that be cheating?). Before long though, he caught sight of someone coming out of the corner of his eye (@Apostate Satanicus).

“Hey man! How ya doing?” he asked with a wide grin as he approached, offering him a handshake. It sounded as if he were greeting an old friend, but the Padawan paid it no mind. “I’m Quin. Nice to meet you.” Ah, this is the life. His parents would never let him introduce himself that way in a noble court, and it was good that the Jedi were more casual now than they had been before. It worked better that way, he thought.

He would wait for the other man to introduce himself if he wanted, exchanging a few more pleasantries before he had an idea and offered him one of the leftover shells he had in his pocket.

“Wanna try and see how far you can get this?” he asked. “If I’m being honest you could probably beat me.”

I'm in!

Lucifrey hurriedly sent her short message to the group chat of volunteers in response to the message about the beach day (@Apollyon, @Sicadorito). She was admittedly a little late to the conversation, but she had taken one of the ship's only repulsorlifts and was running around like crazy with it to distribute the supplies between different areas of the cozy refugee village.

Her thin blue tail twitched from under her dark purple skirt, which was covering the black bottom of her white one-piece swimsuit. Thankfully she'd come prepared to go for a dip after the tasks were done, so she didn't have to worry about doing much once she'd make it to the beach. But she'd have to get there first.

The youthful half-Tiefling blew a huff up at her light purple bangs to toss them out of her bright blue eyes as she tucked her smartpad dataphone back into her pocket. She then pushed on the tall handle of the low hovering repulsorlift and began making her way toward the craft that had the remaining supplies. Her last delivery of medical equipment had put her pretty far at the end of the village from the rest of the Jedi, but it wouldn't be long before she'd finally make her way back toward the ship and the others.

"Sorry about that! This should be the last load!" Luci called out to the honey-golden haired lady carrying the box away from the ship (@ModernMarvel). Within a few moments the Padawan would make her way up the ramp and back into the cargo hold.

With her mind calmed and her breathing centered she'd then begin to focus on each of the remaining boxes, holding her hand out toward them as she'd tap into the ebb and flow in order to carefully float them through the air and stack them upon the repulsorlift one by one. 'Just a little further, then we get to relax.' She thought to herself as she got closer to stacking the last of the crates and would begin to head back toward the others.

Zak smile as the two men introduced themselves in response, the Togruta loved meeting new faces, it was part of the reason he had decided to travel with Rell (@Logan) like he had. The galaxy was a vast place and there were countless people to meet and help, regardless of what government ruled those in need. Zak had traveled across neutral space, taken short excursions into Sith space, the Republic, ISC, and FWA. Each and every time he landed on a world, be it with Rell or alone, there had been someone in need and the Force guided him right to them. Just as it had with these refugees.

Zak merrily shook both of the men's hands before leaning down to pick up a crate that he had just placed on the ground. His smile widened as Wayson asked him how many more crates they had to move before they would be done. He gave the man a playful shrug in response.

"As many as it takes I guess!" He replied in a sing-song tone. "Come on then, walk and ta-"

Right then a blonde woman in a beige tank top, shorts, and pair of work boots walked by, teasing the trio of men for standing idly and interrupting Zak abruptly. He gave a single short laugh of amusement before his head followed her as she passed by, it leading both his torso and then legs in turn to follow the woman and drop off the crates for the refugees. As Zak walked, he heard both Wayson ask if there would be food and Tristan comment on the faster the job gets done, the faster they get to relax.

"I don't know." He called back to Wayson. (@Richie B.) "I didn't plan that far ahead, rarely do!" He continued. "The Force won't let us go hungry though, it always provides!" He exclaimed in a lighthearted tone.

His head tilted a bit to give him an angle to look at Tristan.

"That's the spirit!" He called back to the other Jedi. (@Apostate Satanicus) "Soon we will all be relaxing in those waves out there!"

After this quick reply, Zak picked up his pace to catch up to the female Jedi. (@ModernMarvel) It took him a handful of seconds, given her brisk pace but he eventually managed to catch up and come alongside her. The Togruta gave her a winning smile, one born of genuine a sunny disposition rather than ulterior motives.

"Hi, I'm Zakrym La but most people just call me Zak, it's easier to remember." He said, introducing himself to her. As he did this, Zak attempted to release the crate he was carrying, reach across his body, and offer his hand to shake. The sudden lack of an anchor caused the box's weight to shift and Zak awkwardly stumbled, sidestepping with crate to try and regain control.

"Woooaaahhhh" He instinctively called out before he was able to get a better grip on the box again. "Whew." He stated, grinning in relief that he managed to regain his footing and control. "That was definitely a close one."

Bri smiled back as a young Padawan apologized for - I'm not exactly sure what - before signaling that the crates were nearly all removed from the cargo hold of the ship. "No worries, thanks!" Bri called back, over her shoulder.

As Bri carried the crate down the elevated walkway, she noticed the Togrutan she had quipped at earlier had caught up - also carrying a crate of his own.

"Hi, I'm Zakrym La but most people just call me Zak, it's easier to remember."

In the process of his introduction, Zak attempted to reach across the crate to offer his hand, which the Knight wasn't exactly sure what to do with considering both her hands were required to keep the large weight steady. "Oh! Careful!" she commented, as the lack of support for the box nearly caused the other Jedi to completely lose his balance.

"You don't want to fall off from up here," Bri joked, looking down at the forest floor below. She walked a few more meters before setting the crate down with the others, an orderly pile having been formed.

"I'm Brienna. Nice to meet you," she smiled, holding her hand out for the Togrutan to shake. "Bri is fine," she added, while doing so, indicating her preferred nickname. The introductions having been taken care of, the Knight looked around at the current state of their task. Pretty much everything had been unloaded, and the refugees had started the process of unpacking the supplies, and passing around to their burgeoning settlement. Bri nodded in satisfaction at a job well done.

She looked back over to Zak.

"Beach time?"

With the final boxes from the ship in tow Luci eventually made her way back to the base of the village. At least nobody would have to trek back and forth to get the last of these boxes. "Whew." She let out an exhausted breath and parked the repulsorlift near a group of refugees that were setting up what appeared to be a public kitchen. "The rest of these are labelled food and kitchenware, so I think they go here."

"Thanks Luci! We got it from here." One of the men flashed a smile at the Padawan as he took a crate from the lift. "We all appreciate what you and the other Jedi are doing for us."

"Our pleasure!" The blue-horned girl perked up and tilted her head to the side with closed eyes and a big smile. A moment later the two gave each other a nod, and then parted ways. The refugee went back to work while a couple others came to collect some of the remaining supplies, and Lucifrey stepped away from the large tree holding up the kitchen.

With her mission finally complete, Luci stood in the middle of the village with her gaze up at the sky. While she felt good about helping these people she couldn't help shake the feeling that she felt bad about their plight. Her pointy ears dipped back and down while her tail drooped and lingered in place. A heavy sigh escaped her lips as she looked back around to the rest of the treehouses and bridges. At least they were able to help these people. At least the Jedi were still able to do some good during these chaotic times.

"Time for a nice relaxing dip." She said to herself and anybody nearby. After wondering if she should head to the beach herself she realized it might be best to meetup first. Luci then pulled her smartpad from her pocket, and her thumb expertly raced across its interface as she sent out another group message to the other Jedi volunteers.

Ready!
Last of the crates are out!
Will be in the middle of the village for the beach group!

A little after Luci left the ship, from it a figure clad in light robes and wearing a bone mask appeared out from the cargo hold, carrying a quite sizable box. One of the person's arms was cybernetic, but it seemed they were comfortable with it.

The Kaleesh Knight hummed a soft tune as brought the crate to the village's infirmary, where he also helped setting the equipment up, mostly using the Force to lift the heavier pieces of equipment so it was easier to position them. This took him some time, and by when he was done there, he was a bit tired from the effort, but he was happy too. After all, those poor souls had been through literal hell on Onderon, so they deserved some rest...

His datapad's bleeping snapped him out of his thoughts, and he chuckled as he read the messages. "Sounds quite good. Maybe I'll even find some potential students" he said to himself as he proceeded towards the village, where he found the blue-horned girl. The masked alien smiled and waved at her. "Hey there! I'm Eckaaso Shyn. Knight, combat instructor, and aspiring Jedi Battlemaster" he introduced himself, offering the girl his right hand, which was the good one.

Tristan was taken aback by the amicable and bright nature of the young man. Instinctually he returned said kindness by shacking his hand firmly and introducing himself. In the corner of his eyes he could easily spot Zak,Wayson, the snarky girl and others becoming acquainted with and moving alongside some new faces. Faces he has of yet not been able to attach a name to. however he was taken by this boy at the moment. He couldn't be to younger than himself by the look.

"Nice to make your acquaintance, I'm Tristan"

Tristan wasn't the kind of person to immediately feel the nature of a individual, he felt it kind of rude but with Quin he could openly feel the force, it was strong in this one, not lacking in presence to the growing group of Jedi around himself. It was this revelation that allowed him to easily go along with the following events. Especially when presented by a small surprise in the form of a shell. His words brought forth the assumption that he meant a throw without force assistance, a challenge he was willing to take. As he made his way down to the oceanside he cocked his arm back ready to let loose a powerful throw. Tightening his grip on the shell and summoning as much natural strength as he could, he let forth his arm launching the shell towards the water, skipping it as it pattered a few times until losing momentum and dropping into the blue endless waves of the ocean.

"I didn't see yours, was it further?"

he spoke with a small smile, crossing his arms over his chest.

To Quin’s delight, the Jedi he now knew to be Tristan shook his hand and even accepted the shell. Normally he would get some weird looks at his enthusiastic approach to greeting strangers, but Tristan seemed to take it well. He watched with bated breath as the knight tossed it onto the water, and to his surprise it actually skipped a few times before falling into the ocean.

“Whoa.” He looked at the man, impressed. “Are you sure this is your first time doing this? Mine barely made it into the water.” He didn’t know if it was skill or luck, but it was amazing either way.

Just then, he felt his datapad buzz in his pocket, and he took it out to check what it was. Turns out it was a message from Lucifrey about the rest of the beach group.

“Oh, looks like the others’ll be here soon!” he exclaimed, showing the message to Tristan. “This’ll be fun. You think they could beat you?” He didn’t even know if they would even want to spend time tossing shells after doing all that work, but a boy could dream. “I’d still bet on yours being the farthest, though.”

"A battlemaster?" The half-Tiefling Padawan's eyes widened toward the Kaleesh Knight while her ears and bright blue tail perked up. "That's awesome!" An enthusiastic flare seemed to come over the girl as she began to think of all the cool and useful moves she could learn from the combat instructor.

"I'm Padawan Lucifrey Sol. Nice to meet you!" Luci smiled brightly, then would reach for Eckaaso's good hand with a friendly shake. "Think you could show me your moves some time?"

A bit of light reflected off the river next to them and shimmered across the pair of Jedi. She'd then cover her arm across her forehead to cast a little shade across her face while she gazed around the village. "Maybe some of the others would be interested later too?"

The Kaleesh couldn't help but chuckle lightly, delighted by the young woman's excitement. "Well, not an actual battlemaster. I yet have to master all forms of lightsaber combat, but I'm steadily working to reach that goal" he said, smiling behind his bone mask.

His grip was firm but at the same time kind, not wanting to hurt the girl. "Nice to meet you Lucifrey. And I'll tell you, I'll gladly show you some moves and maybe even teach you, if you wish to learn the forms, alongside some crafting in the form of lightsaber creation" he said, a point of pride in his voice. He then looked over their surroundings, tapping his chin. "Perhaps, I see there's several potential students around here, who knows!" he chuckled, moving to sit under the shade of a tree as they waited for the others to join them.
