Zak smiled bashfully as the Kel Dor walked with him onto the dance floor, it had been quite a while since the Force had allowed him to just enjoy more simple pleasures. It seemed that the Force was allowing him this evening to himself, something he would accept without question. The Kel Dor took Zak into his arms with a gentle spin, a playful laugh escaped Zak's unabashed smile. It was a laugh that would deepen at Sol's comment about the other couples and how preoccupied they were. It was a laugh that halted in his throat, a smile that faded from his lips when Sol asked about his leg.

For the briefest of moments Zak was cast back onto Thyferra, he felt the fear, the pain, the death of countless beings occurring in concert. A cold shiver traveled down his back, a small scowl appeared on his face, his response was in a hushed and whispered tone.

"I was on Thyferra..."

Zak wouldn't have time to dwell on the past too deeply, instead as he went to tell the Kel Dor more, Luci bumped into him. Zak stepped into the Keldor's chest briefly before he could even glance over his shoulder, he would hear his Padawan's voice. At her voice, some of Zak's mirth would reappear on his face.

"Luci, allow me to introduce you to Sol Kenuk." He said as the first part of an introduction. "Sol, this is my Padawan learner Lucifrey Sol." He continued. "Huh, you both have Sol in your names. What a funny little coincidence!" Zak said teasingly.

However, before any real conversation could spark between the trio, Zak would notice Dimetri waving towards them. He would cast his Padawan a knowing glance and a small smirk would appear on his face before nodding in the young man's direction.

"I think he's calling to you Luci." He said in a hushed tone. "Why don't you go and spend time with him?" He asked with a smile.

When Luci made her way from them, Zak would return his attentions to the Sol, the shine in his eyes having fully returned to Zak. It was an unspoken bond between Zak and his Padawan but to him, Luci was family, a daughter that he cared for deeply. He wanted to see her flourish, succeed, and be happy in all things she endeavored to do.

"She spent days by my side while I was in the Bacta Tank." Zak explained to Sol. "She is like the daughter I will never have." He continued with a small sigh.

There would be a brief silence before Zak looked at Sol and had a simple request.

"Would you spin me again?"

Thyferra. How curious. The killiks were bold, and it seemed nowhere in the galaxy was safe. Not even the Empire. Glowing eyes glitter with silent contemplation as they dance, until something unexpected happened.

Some clumsy girl stumbles into Zakrym, and it doesn't take much intelligence to realize what her words meant. A Padawan. And Zak was the Knight. The Kel Dor says nothing, though his gaze is piercing as it lands upon the half-tiefling. The Togruta had slipped closer against the Sith's chest, and for a moment, Sol thought they might ignore the annoying fly and send her on her way. But no. Zakrym wanted to introduce the padawan to Sol, as if the Kel Dor cared. Oh, but he would listen, play the polite little wolf, would smile behind his mask like a snake.

The teasing about their names went ignored as the conversation seemed to shift. Zakrym was practically shooing the girl away, off to some green skinned fellow trying to wave her down. Good, the Kel Dor thinks quietly. Now the Togruta's attention would return to where it belonged. On Sol, of course. Well, at least until some other fellow decided to address the pair. Sol had half a mind to electrocute the guy (@Forsythe Crowholde ), but instead, Sol opts to ignore him with a raised brow, as if to say, 'can't you see we're busy?'

Can't a man dance with another man in peace without the whole world trying to distract them?

The talk still lingers on Lucifrey, on the Knight's time in a bacta tank. The Sith can't help but wonder just how serious the Togruta's injuries had been. Perhaps Sol should avoid the larger Killiks. He doubted his own allies would have saved him, and really, he couldn't blame them. Sol was much the same. The roaches were certainly a nuisance, though. One that should be promptly exterminated. At least for the time being, it seemed the rest of the galaxy was proving useful. Their help in destroying the bugs would ultimately help the Sith in turn.

Ah, but now he was the one distracted.

"So, you're a family man?" It was more an observation than a question, but the honeyed drawl was warm with amusement regardless. "Padawans are close enough to sons and daughters." He agrees, despite his lack of knowledge on the subject. And of course, now he knows one of Zakrym's greatest weaknesses. It was a cruel thought that laced his mind with inky venom, but Sol was all too eager to retain such knowledge. He smiles behind his mask, obliges the Togruta's request for another gentle spin, and now it seems they can finally return to their dance undisturbed, despite the music change.

"Do let me know if your leg starts to bother you." Sol draws close with a pleasant rumble, "You are welcome to lean on me as you'd like."

Padawan Sol tried to maintain a polite smile while Zak introduced her to Sol Kenuk, and then blushed at the comment from the other guy next to them who she could've sworn she might've seen around one of the temples before (@Forsythe Crowholde). "Uhh... Something like that... Haha..." Her eyes closed and arched up as she nervously rubbed the back of her head. She couldn't stop her ears from laying back, nor her tail from wagging anxiously.

A moment later she was nodding along with Zak and let out a soft chuckle once he mentioned the similarity in her and the Kel Dor's names. "Oh wow! What a coincidence!" The shaky nerves seemed to be fading the more she talked with the little group. "Nice to meet you both!" She cheerfully said to the men before tilting her head slightly back enough to peek out of the crowd where her azure gaze finally caught sign of Dimetri again, just in time to see him summon her.

The half-Annfyn's heart skipped a beat, and any sign of concern that had been on her expression seemed to melt away. "Nn!" She cutely let out a positive grunt to Zak when he encouraged her to run along. "Let's all meet back up and watch the fireworks together later!" Her eyes and expression lit up like she was aglow with newfound energy. "See ya 'round!" She softly tossed a little wave up to the group as she leaned forward and began to make her way toward Dim with a little pep in her step.

"Diiim~!!" Luci called out to the Mirialan as she crossed the distance from the stage to where he was. Her hands clutched together behind her thin hips, while her lips bent and curled like the number '3' turned clockwise 90-degrees. A soft shimmering twinkle glimmered in her eyes as she lifted her gaze to meet his. Her heart felt like it was rising inside her and beating harder, nearly choking the innocent girl as she went to respond to her emerald friend. "I-I don't think I've had those before." She couldn't tell why her cheeks felt so hot, or why she felt so mushy, but she tried to push through it and cleared her throat to steady her voice. "Yeah, I'd love to go check them out with you!"

Her hands felt like they wanted to reach for his arm while they strolled through the festival together, but another hard and heavy heartbeat kept her from making her move. "I--" She nervously began, wanting to bring up the girl she'd seen him with on the dance floor. But for some reason the words escaped her, so instead of pausing there awkwardly she tried to pick a different subject. "I feel a little out of place in my usual outfit. I think I saw a couple stalls with some clothes that might help me fit in better. Think we could go check some out after funnel cake?"

Then Luci flashed Dim another smile as she did her best to conceal the anxious mix of excitement and jealousy she felt bubbling in her chest.

Alia, lost in her moves, didn't notice the couple who had drifted too close to her. She spun around, and her tail went whipping behind her, slapping one of them in the face, which Alia entirely missed because of Kane's question. "Me?" She replied, oblivious to the looks the couple were giving her, the girl consoling her boyfriend as his cheek started sporting a bright red mark vaguely shaped like a heart, "Dathomir. Land of fun and celebration, best place ever!" The slapped party was about to approach her when the music changed, and as Kane tried to lead her into new steps, her tail swung around once more and almost delivered another slap, forcing them to change targets.

While her previous attempts at dancing, involving steps she had practiced, had been horrible, this attempt at something new was even worse. It also made the area around her an even greater hazard zone. "I'm Alia, what's your name?" She replied, spotting Clove nearby, who was getting confronted by the slapped party, too scared to get close to Alia's wildly swinging appendages.

"Your friend slapped my boyfriend." The girl, with a sticker titled Ka'ren on her shirt, glared at Clove. But before she could say more, Alia and Kane drifted a little too close in their tango and her tail whipped around again, slapping the boy across his other cheek, sending him running away in tears, Ka'ren forced to huff after him as Alia noticed all this and question Clove in an almost impressed tone.

"Breaking another boy's heart? You go girl!"

Clove laughed as she embraced the Padawan(@LouJoVi). "I know, I know. I'm glad you are my brother in Force, Atias." She let him keep his arm around her shoulder as she made her way to the dance floor, her gaze lifting to him for a moment. "I'll explain why I left. I'll explain it all. But not today! An'..." She paused, a clear look of guilt in her eyes. "I'm sorry for runnin' away like that. It will never happen again. We'll see each other more often, okay? An' we'll absolutely practice with the energy bow again! Just... not around snakes." Clove joked with a grin.

"I can absolutely introduce you to her after she finishes dancin' with Mr. Pretty bun! Her name is Alia, I met her on Thyferra." Clove replied while dancing, her eyes closing every now and then as she cherished the music, allowing her body to move on its own. "Do you think she's cute?" The half-Annfyn teased, her gaze returning to Atias with a small smirk. She couldn't even blame him. Alia was absolutely adorable.

Clove was about to continue her teasing when she noticed a girl approaching her. A young lady with the name Ka'ren written on her shirt. Clove wasn't one to quickly judge; surely there were many kind Ka'rens! ... But she also met a fair number of Ka'rens who were outraged over something as trivial as giving them the wrong color bandage. And this girl seemed to be no exception; she opened her mouth and hissed something about Alia slapping her boyfriend in the face. The half-Annfyn blinked, unable to speak. Not because she didn't want to; she simply did not have the chance. Because Alia and Kane got closer and another tail whip grazed the boyfriend's cheek, causing him to run off crying. And the girl followed suit.

Clove's gaze danced to Alia(@Wit), who proudly decided Clove had broken another boy's heart. Clove's muscles froze as she stared, panic coursing through her mind. Another? Did she know about Altair? No. Surely not. Was that how people thought of her, as a heartbreaker? Is that how Altair saw her, was that why he called

Deep breathes, Clove thought to herself. No spiraling, no drama, not in front of her friends and brother in Force. It was just a remark. Clove gave a faint smile before forcing a laugh. "Oh, no! It wasn't me, I'm afraid. But I don't think they are very nice people." She took a few steps back, making sure she was out of Alia's tail range and out of Kane's(@Mr. Teatime) sight, before gesturing to the Tiefling about how cute she and Kane were as a dancing couple.

Her attention was drawn back to Atias, and she shrugged. "Galaxy has some weird people. So, Atias! What have I missed, huh?" She asked, partly to keep herself distracted and partly because she was genuinely curious. The music began to seep into her muscles as her body slowly began to unfreeze further.

Luci came over excited. She seemed to be doing good, and that couldn't have made Dimetri happier. His friends were important to him, and seeing them having a good time was such a relief. As she agreed to come along for funnel cakes, Dimetri nodded and began walking that way,

"You're gonna love these things! They put powdered sugar on em and it's fantastic."

Dimetri was oblivious to anything that showed her hesitation to touch his arm or to tell him how she felt. He was too caught up in enjoying the festival. Luci's voice spoke up as she asked if they could hit up one of the clothing stands and he figured that wouldn't be a problem. Odd she didn't wear a set of clothes she liked, but it wouldn't hurt to go check it out after they get their food.

"Sure, not a problem."

The two finally made it to the funnel cake truck, and the Mirialan ordered for them both,

"Hey guys, how are y'all doin? Could I get two funnels please?"

"Yea, four credits."

"Sure thing boss man, here ya go."

Handing over the credits in exchange for the cakes, he turned around and handed the funnel for Luci over to her. Once she took it, he'd find a bench and sit down starting to eat his funnel cake. They had time to sit and eat before going to the clothing stand. So of course Dimetri sat and began enjoying. Each bite flavorful. Curious about what his friend had thought about the food, he asked,

"So whatcha think? Pretty good right?"

His smile being just a curve of his lips would be set in her direction. He has yet to meet someone who hadn't liked a good funnel so if she were to say it was trash he'd be pretty bummed but not bummed enough to miss out on any rides or anything later. He had to keep a pma. A positive mental attitude always brought the world to a better place. At least, that's what his mother always said, and momma ain't been wrong yet.

I hope so. I’ll be very sad if you disappear without any trace again.” the Padawan pouted playfully. Being honest, Atias had become sad when Clove left the Order and didn’t answer his messages. “Besides, I have a gift for you. Think of it as a birthday gift delayed for several months.

A bit, yes.” Atias said, with his cheeks red. He wasn’t exactly the type of blushing or getting flushed, but the thought of talking about having attraction to other people in front of his sister made him feel this way. Perhaps he should have stayed quiet, but sometimes his mouth seemed to be too big to stay closed.

Then, an unknown girl walked toward him and Clove. At first the Padawan thought that she was another friend of the half-Annfyn. When the girl started to complain that Alia had hit her boyfriend’s face with her tail, Atias only stared in disbelief. “And what do you want her to do? Tell her to stop dancing? She is her friend, not her mother.” the half-Morellian said, before his sister could even say anything.

Before anything else could be said, the Alia and the boy that was dancing with her approached them. She once again hit the face of the girl's boyfriend, who then ran away crying. Now the Padawan was feeling bad for the guy, it probably was painful.

If something was breaking here is that guy’s face. Atias thought when Alia asked if Clove was breaking another heart. If he talked with the horned girl at some moment, he would not ask her to dance. It could end up causing problems for him.

Nothing important, I think. I went on some humanitarian missions, but they weren’t special. I want to learn Force healing, but Crix is busy.” his life as a Padawan has been pretty calm these days. “And you? What have you been doing these days? Still meditating to understand your place in the Galaxy?

Tazlen had to chuckle at her words, “Was that a compliment and an insult in the same sentence? Impressive,” She certainly had a flair to her he could appreciate it. It reminded him of a lot of people he knew back on his home planet. Of course, she followed up with an actual compliment and that drew another laugh.

“Could say the same for you,” He quipped back, “But that could just be since I don’t see too many other half Annfyn,” Tazlen gave her a playful wink.

He paused for a moment when she mentioned she studied the blade as well. While he mentioned nothing of it, he filed that away as a conversation topic later. Tazlen followed her line of sight towards the bar, “You know.. I think the spice is really getting to me,” He said with a nod, “Think I may need a drink after all,” He shrugged, “And looks like you could use one as well.”

With that, he led the way over, ordering a drink for them both. It was a Firrerre whiskey shot and he knew it was a bit of a kicker. However, he had a feeling she was adventurous enough to try. Tazlen threw the shot back, enjoying that burn down his throat, “So… a few of my friends seemed to know you back there,” He asked her after a moment, “How so?” He had absolutely no idea about New Alderaan.

Vahliri flashed Tazlen a grin, giggling softly when he spoke. “Is that so?” She tilted her head ever-so-slightly when he threw in that wink - reciprocating with a light nudge against his arm. “Well we are rather rare. At least a quarter of people I meet feel the need to ask if my last name is Thorne,” The half-Annfyn shook her head a bit with clear amusement.

Her gaze traveled back from the bar to hang on the Jedi, her expression brightening a bit when he motions towards the drink, “Well now that you mention it,” She hummed, turning on a heel to follow him in that direction, “I could use something to wash it down,”

Vahliri eyed Tazlen for a moment when he ordered the drinks - her brow arching they faintest bit at the shot of Firrerre whiskey. It was far from the fruity drinks she normally ordered - but she was ever adventurous and certainly wasn’t going to turn it down. “Cheers,” She said before throwing the shot back. She closes her eyes for a moment, humming lightly as the alcohol burned down her throat.

The half-Annfyn paused for a long moment after Tazlen asked his question, pondering how exactly she was going to answer that. It was evident that the man was in the dark about New Alderaan and Eriadu, and it left her with options on how to proceed. After a moment, she waved down another round of shots and glance back up to meet his gaze.

“The Mirialan? - I know him.” She said with a small nod before continuing. “From New Alderaan.” Her gaze lingered on Tazlen when she spoke without breaking, “I did tell you I ‘studied the blade’. I imagine he is still up in arms about which side of that battle I commanded.” And there it was. He would have no trouble putting together exactly what she meant, and the half-Annfyn didn’t recoil from whatever reaction he had. She could have easily lied and bullshitted him with an answer, and could guess he wouldn’t pry further than that. But Vahliri had zero desire to do so.

She proudly embraced everything that she was, and had never attempted to hide that from the Galaxy. It was why she never covered her face in combat.

A moment ticked by, and the new round of shots were slid across the bar. Vahliri glanced towards them before moving back to Tazlen. “Are you?” She asked very simply.

Tazlen was about to throw back his second shot when Vahliri outright admitted to being a Sith. He stopped for a moment and had to bite back the surge of rage that threatened to seep out. He looked at her as she flatly asked if he was bothered.

“The Sith wiped out my homeland,” He explained curtly, his eyes suddenly taking on a frosty bearing, “How the fuck do you think I feel about them?” The half Annfyn shook his head as he dropped a few credits to cover the drinks.

“Been real meeting you in a friendly and social setting,” He said without breaking his gaze from hers, “Though if I see you in a battlefield, I’ll be happy to give you a one on one demonstration with a saber,” Tazlen said flatly, venom in his tone. He didn’t give her an opportunity to respond, drawing away from the bar to make his way back to the others and disappearing into the crowd.

Luci innocently stood by the funnel cake cart with a big clueless smile on her face while she patiently waited for Dim to buy her some food. "Thanks!" She happily chirped once he finally got the snack and slipped it into her hands. At the bench she sat close to her emerald friend, opened wide revealing her cute little fangs, and took a massive feral bite into the funnel cake.

A soft "-nom!!-" escaped the half-Tiefling before she pulled back and ripped a large chunk of the cake away. Now that the food was in her mouth she straightened her posture and politely covered her fingers over her lips while she chewed the delicacy in a more savory and sophisticated manner.

"-ahmm-" The half-Annfyn tried to hold back her rising delight with the delicious treat, but her ears, tail, and expression all began to betray her as they perked up. "AhhHH!!!" Luci's head turned to Dim, her eyes closed and arched up, and her smile widened in awe. "IT'S DELICIOUS! I LOVE IT!!"

Luci's tail started wagging back and forth excitedly, and then she widened her eyes and took another viscous chomp out of the snack before straightening her back again and repeated the process each time she went to eat from it. A blissful wave gradually washed over the jubilant Padawan as she sat and enjoyed the snack with her friend. She'd almost forgotten all about the mysterious girl she'd seen on the dance floor with Dimetri.

Sol's question had provoked a response that was entirely alien in Zak, was he a family man? Zak had never really put much thought into questions like that because, in his eyes, that had never been a possibility to him. He had always traveled the galaxy with Rell at first and for awhile alone, but now with his Padawan Lucifrey. To him, Luci was his daughter in all things but blood and it made sense for their relationship to develop in that manner, perhaps not as quickly as it had between two of them. Zak didn't question their bond though, instead he questioned his own wants outside of following the Force.

"To be perfectly honest with you." Zak replied in a small voice. "I have never really thought about it one way or another." He continued, his voice sounded distant and flat, almost as if he slipped into a trance. "Until recently, my life always seemed so clear. The Force guided me to worlds that it needed me on and I did my best to discern what that need was and how to accomplish it. But lately..." He explained, his voice eventually trailing off as his mind drifted into thought.

Sol would then gently spin Zak, bringing the Knight back into a close embrace, their bodies momentarily pressed against one another. Zak's mind would be broken from the depths of his introspection and back into the present, dancing with this handsome Kel Dor. Zak would flash a fanged grin at Sol before twisting himself in the man's arms, then shifting the majority of his weight to his good leg, and shimmy his body down the man's frame. Being sure to grind himself against Kel Dor, his right hand would reach up and grip the back of Sol's neck teasingly, and increase the passion of their dance. Now facing away from his dance partner, Zak would see Tazlen sliding between people in the crowd, he didn't need the Force to see the agitation on the man's face.

Zak would gently grind his back up Sol's body, pulling gently on his neck to compensate for the lack of strength in his bad leg, almost in reply to Sol's earlier offer. As he was a highly social and empathetic species, Zak felt his instincts, or perhaps it was the Force that was pushing him to check in on the man. He would suddenly spin to face the Kel Dor, that predatory grin still on his lips, he would lift himself up onto his tip toes, and gave Sol a kiss on his cheek before Zak whispered to him.

"Why don't you grab us both a drink? I need to check on someone." Zak whispered.

Then, without waiting for a response Zak would push himself from the Kel Dor's body, his fingertips lingering on his chest for a moment longer than expected. He would then place the majority of his weight on the cane once more and limp his way towards @Tazlen Axil. He would do his best to come up along side the man, to avoid surprising him and would offer him a pleasant, friendly smile.

"Is everything alright?" Zak would ask him in genuine concern. "You look as if you just stepped in a pile of Gundark poo." He joked.

With the annoyance of a padawan gone, Sol was once again left alone with the lovely Togruta he had partnered with, and what a delight this young Jedi was. He speaks with his heart on his chest, and the Kel Dor is all too eager to devour whispered admissions. This, he thinks, will be most beneficial, and in many more ways than one. Zakrym seemed like the type to trust easily. A pity that Sol would have to take advantage of that. But then, why shouldn't he? Surely having a Jedi in his pocket would prove useful. The tongue had a habit of slipping all sorts of things, especially when the body roared louder than the brain's warnings of potential danger. The Kel Dor had found the perfect prey.

It seems that doubt slides from the Knight's lips, as he grows distant in the grasp of the Kel Dor. Sol listens, as if he is merely being polite. The gentle spin seems to break the Jedi free of his thoughts, and once again, they dance. Free of pests to interrupt them, with only the music guiding their movements, and the roar of their heartbeats intertwined. He's rather surprised when the Togruta decides to take things up a notch, despite the injured leg. It's amusing to watch, and enjoyable to partake in. At some point, Sol is entirely sure that he's forgotten his original intention with the man. This was... fun. Dare he say it. The Kel Dor didn't dance often, and certainly not in such a lewd manner. He seems all too eager to lean into Zakrym's touch, but then, Sith rarely dealt in moderation.

Who really knew how far the dance would have gone before Zakrym ended up distracted by something. He almost thinks that the Togruta will forget about whatever had caught his eye, when he grinds his athletic figure up the Kel Dor, pulling gently at the back of his neck, a weight that Sol didn't mind carrying. Of course, the Kel Dor had no intentions of stopping it there, so naturally, fate itself decided to step in. Zak spins, all fangs and smiles, rises up to kiss the Sith, but his whispered words are far from welcome. Once again, something was getting in between Sol and his stolen Jedi.

Grab us both a drink, the Sith thinks bitterly as his Togruta dance partner makes a break for it, off to chase down... someone. Sol didn't know. He didn't care. All he knew was that his ears were roaring and his body burned, and Zakrym had left him there like that. He couldn't even drink. Or did Zakrym intend for the Kel Dor to suffocate on the oxygen rich atmosphere while he scurried off to dance with someone else? Probably. Oh, he's jealous. He's jealous, and he seething. The fire roaring in his head is of a different type now. Sol lets loose a heavy breath, turns on his heel, and quickly finds a place to sit away from the dance floor, pointedly alone, because apparently, he had been abandoned. Not so unusual a trick for the Jedi to pull.

This was not the Reverse UNO that he had intended.

Tazlen had to actively work to temper himself after the encounter. He despised how seemingly normal and carefree someone like Vahliri could be while knowing she was an accessory to war crimes. By the time he made it back to the others, he was calmer, but the hints of anger remained on his face.

He glanced up when he was addressed, spotting Zak. Tazlen couldn’t help but smile at the joke, but he saw the look of concern. The half Annfyn glanced over his shoulder before looking back at Zak, “That girl I walked away with - the Annfyn - she was one of the attackers on New Alderaan,” Tazlen explained bitterly, “In fact, I think there is a whole group of them here,” He said. In the end, he shook his head and looked at Zak again.

“I know what you’re gonna say - we can’t be hasty and brash, yeah yeah,”
Tazlen said with a faint grin, revealing a glint of his fangs, “I won’t light any of ‘em on fire in the middle of a festival. But it does boggle my mind they can wipe out civilians in one instance and casually enjoy a festival in another.”

Zak listened to Tazlen as he spoke about about the woman he had walked off with, he even leaned out to glance around the man's frame in her direction. Zak wasn't really there to judge Tazlen, instead he was there purely out of concern for the man, and now who he suspected of being a fellow Jedi Knight. At Tazlen's joke about burning the Sith present, Zak would give a grin and slight chuckle. While he wasn't personally a militant Jedi, Zak still found humor in darker jokes.

"I don't blame you at all for that confusion." Zak replied with a smirk still on his face. "I never really understood how they could stand by while their leaders authorize atrocities, much less participate in them." Zak gave his head a slight shake as he continued. "However, I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing that they are celebrating life. The fact they'll participate and socialize with known Jedi perhaps means that there is some hope for redemption in some of them." He explained. "Maybe the Dark Side's hook isn't set all the way in quite yet." He mused.

"Knight Zakrym La, by the way." He would suddenly state as a hasty introduction, extending his hand to shake Tazlen's own. "You can just call me Zak though."

It was good to hear Luci liked the funnel cake, it was probably one of the top ten desserts for Dimetri. Something about fried bread and powdered sugar was just immaculate. After his snack, he threw his trash away and then looked to his Tiefling friend who was wanting to visit the clothing stand real quick. Dimetri was ready to go when she was,

"You wanna check out the clothing stand now?"

He figured it'd be a resounding yes as she was the one who brought it up. So he'd just smile and wait, but as he did he noticed Tazlen stomping past, and he looked pissed off. Maybe he finally came to the realization Vahl was a ruthless individual. Good for him, Dim was hoping a Jedi wouldn't fall victim to Vahl's body count. Either one of them.. Continuing on though, he would make his way down the street and lay eyes on the wonderful clothes that shop had. He didn't know how long he would be there if Luci was going to do the common practice of trying on different clothes and making a five minute thing a two hour thing. So he stood by outside,

"They should have something good here. I'll be out here when you get back."

He had to try pretty hard not to just start laughing as their dance moves resulted in some random dude getting tail-whipped across the face. This attempt failed completely the second time he got slapped, evening out his face. Kane's laughter shook his shoulders and joined the beat of the music.

"I'm Kane!" he got in during a breath, a mischievous grin plastered on his face. Silently, a plan formed behind those amber-gold eyes of his. He started maneuvering the two of them so Alia's swinging tail would ward off some of the crowding dancers around them, giving them a decent amount of extra room. "Your people like festivals?" he asked conversationally, getting a little closer to his partner.

"Sounds, uplifting!" Midway through dancing he'd adjust his grip and send Alia up into a brief, spinning lift while flashing a cheeky smile. Then he let her back down- right about when the song ended. He clicked his tongue, feeling the beginning of imminent boredom. "Want to get food with me?" he asked her during the music pause. Alia seemed like fun and at this point he was curious.
