Just a bit confused- Is House Thrudgast a vassal under the Crown of Trevast, or is it an independent House in the Westerlands?

I'm not sure honestly. They seem awfully independent, but they also might be a part of the agreement. I'd go with being begrudging and not all to enthusiastic members of the alliance. Basically they are isolated enough that they wouldn't be effected that much by the other clans, so they would be about two inches away from leaving the alliance should they do something that impacts them negatively. Hatred of the boteri would be the main thing keeping them in line.

Your castle has been added.

And as a sidebar, the crown does not handle rebellion lightly.

Hiral: "I didn't take Ellain lightly either, Adric."

*sounds air horn*

Tiagon: "Brother stop. Be quiet you're making a scene"

Hiral: "I just couldn't stop myself."

Tiagon: "Hiral, would you j-"

Hiral: "She smelled like strawberries"

Tiagon: "Damn it Hiral you are married."

Gitara: "Well I thought it was funny too so"

Tiagon: "You are both in so much trouble when we get home."

I would suggest mainly reading the first post of mine. It sets the stage up nicely.

At this point in the rp, all the lords are entering the city and meeting with the king outside of the keep, mainly as a courteous introduction.

@+SpaceJesus+, which member of the royal family are you approaching? It's generally inadvisable to approach a member of the royal family with armed guards (note the spelling).

Abor is walking towards the knight and prince who were training in the sparring room.

@+SpaceJesus+ hey mate, so just so we are clear, the only royal family in Trevast is House Bayne. All other lords are simply noblemen. Also, no armed guards of any sort aside from those of House Bayne are permitted within the Palace. So, please edit those out, otherwise House Bayne soldiers will... not react well to that.

And for all players, any large grouping of guards or soldiers within the city will be watched closely. Although they would be permitted in the city, please keep in mind they would not be allowed within the palace.

Noted, I'll edit that out. I'll say that there was an unarmed Druid or two following Tiagon and Hiral, since lore wise they do fight bare handed a lot and wouldn't be armored or have weapons on them.

Abor only brought one gaurd, Sithrum, though I'm debating whether or not to let him bring Sithrum in anyway out of inexperience with it being offensive. It would highlight his youth but also make him look stupid, which he isn't.

Sorry you weren't allowed to roast Abor for a good couple paragraphs. It was brutal

Added a thing in the profile saying how they joined the alliance. Basically, they tried to stay out of it, but then their shores were raided and they attacked the Boteri on their own. It went pretty well for about a year, but then they began to be overwhelmed by the sheer numbers and power of the Boteri and were forced to ally with the other houses to continue fighting.

@+SpaceJesus+, did you even notice that Miranda was talking to the actual Prince, and not to your character, or did you just not read any of the posts after that one you quoted? =P

I was tagged in the post, I figured that that was who she was talking to. I honestly have no idea what to call Abor at the moment. Like, he would be kinda a prince since he's heir to the Thrudgast lordship, except he's not, cause there's an actual prince, so what would his actual title even be?

He'd be the heir to hte lordship. Not sure that there was ever a special title for anybody who was heir to somebody from baron up through duke (maybe for dukes, anyways). But he wouldn't be the prince that Miranda was talking to, considering the next posts after that showed Miranda talking to the Prince and Heir to the King, Desirak, and Chaos's last post in here was him with Miranda continuing a conversation with Desirak and Louise talking to Erant.

So, like, yeah, if you'd read the thread you'd have noticed that. This is why reading is important. =P

Anyways, last I checked, the reason you would have been tagged in the post was because that was the original post where Vaiken's character went up and was talking to your big group. And then you edited your initial post so he edited his post to change what was happening in it into the current situation, and just didn't remove the tag of you.
