Tangible Possibilities

[Tank]

Tangrene. Mountains upon mountains. No vegetation. No water. No real people. Why would anyone be here? Maybe that’s why we are here. Samuel thought to himself. If there’s nothing seemingly of value in the system maybe the Sith won’t show up here; but if they don’t show up here, is it a good place to watch for them from?

Samuel cracked his neck to alleviate the thoughts running through his mind. They’d been asked to scout out the world. The end goal being to set up an outpost on which to spy on Sith movements in the outer rim. They needed to see if the planet contained any imminent dangers or problematic hazards they would have to deal with. A surface and oxygen sample were currently being run by their ship’s computers. Once the all clear was given they could step out on to the planet.

It’s not for an outpost. Samuel thought to himself. We’ve already got them flanked on the eastern edge of the galaxy. Now, headshed is pushing to outflank the Sith on the west, trying to take control of more systems along this hyperlane.

Samuel thought back to his training days and the military theory classes they’d taken. Tengrene would be much more effective as an anvil in a hammer and anvil tactic. The secured eastern borders of the BA act as the hammer, and swing across the Sith’s space forcing them to push back further west to systems like, Vandynee, Edusa, and eventually Tengrene. But guess who’s already there waiting for them? The BA. Samuel smirked as the thoughts raced through his brain. There was a beep on the console and he looked down at the readout.

“Class 1A Oxygen, breathable. Soil, no immediate toxins. Looks like we’re good to open the hatch.” Samuel said confidently. They’d spotted a roaming band of Tengrenee in the valley below them and had decided to make contact with them first and inquire about the planet. “You boys ready?”




Mission Name: Tangible Possibilities
Mission Type: Conflict
Description: Tangrene (O-4) is located some distance even from the world's the BA is currently investing in. It would however make a good base for keeping an eye on possible Sith movements further afield on the outer rim. A team is needed to scout the planet out for this prospect, and report back on any threats, or problems that might they might see.

[Magtongen]

Penne, who was off in her own little world, was staring at the huge mountains. Mother of Gosh, these mountains are huge! Suddenly, a voice is heard from behind her.
"You boys ready?" Penne jumps and turns around.
"Huh? Yeah. Yeah, I am. So, what are we gonna do? Set up a base, right? Let me check my mission note." She looks at her mission note.
"Scout area.... blah blah.... build a base.... So I figure we can... ask for some supplies from the locals for this base. Claim it's something like a radio tower, I don't know." She then takes out her e-11.
"If we need to use force, I am okay with that... I guess."

 

[Jade the Protector]

Jade coughed lightly as the ship landed. she could tell that the ship was of a decent size. What were beings doing here of all places!?? She just wanted a place to hide until the Sith were deemed safe, but Nooooooo! "Oi! NIght Eyes, why do the fools come to us?! I thought that they were gone!"

Jade waited till the beings were outside the ship. She would jump them and force them to talk and run if needed.

Alex has been in the mountains for a few days now he has been here with his friend Jack. They had been there to get away from the comotion of other city of course no one else would be here. Alex sat near the camp site legs crossed meditating. Jack was just coming back from looking around walking on the orangish dirt with a hint of earth in the air when he saw his friend he said to himself "There he goes again at it with becoming one with the force" Alex could hear him and replies "Just because you don't like it doesn't mean you can make fun of it" Jack quickly shot back "but your not a Jedi.or a sith your just a force wielding maniac" Alex replied "your just mad because you don't understand hehe" Jack just sat down and sigh he knew he was right then he just had to say "could you tell me a few things about it" Alex motioned him near him and as Jack sat down he started to talk.

 

[Jade the Protector]

With a moan, Jade put a hand to her head. She was getting over stimulated from the force, the increase of life causing it. "I'm alright, Night Eyes, just need to relax. " Jade ensured the Anooba. suddenly there was a jagger knife sensation from the force and all went silent as Jade passed out with a cry. Night Eyes whined, wanting to get help, but was unsure who to trust. She looked to the ship and after a moment, started towards it, barking when closer. she hoped the harness would prevent them from thinking she was wild. Jade needed medication and fast.

As Alex and Jack sat there talking they heard a cry in the distance. Reaching for his blaster rifle "there ain't much out here but there enough that would want to eat us.......anyway keep going now you have me hook now explain to me again how you made your lightsaber...." And they went about there business

 

[Jade the Protector]

Night Eyes paced back and forth, having went back to her master, fearing she would be harmed. Jade had not awoken and the Anooba was worried. In desperation, she barked again, this time more urgent. She pawed the bag in which Jade held her medication. The Anooba was unable to give her master the liquid, but someone else, if they got here in time, could.

Alex and Jack still sat there then they heard it a bark the type of a dog "Alex I'm going to check that out alright." Alex replied "Alright man be care full" Jack took of looking around the he turned a corner and saw where it was coming from an animal and its master passed out on the ground he ran over and tried to find what was wrong with the women

 

[Krajin]

Landing the ship on a world as desolate as Tangrene was easy as kicking a Bantha in the shin. No cities, no port Authority, hell a fly over of the world proved that there was nothing here aside from the primitive peoples that dwelt here. The Trianii was comfortable in this explorative mode as it allowed him a certain sense of freedom away from other planets, authorities and the like and to be honest? Scouting out this place was for the best. He glanced at the two talking and frowned just a bit "You're wanting to talk to a bunch of natives whom none of you know the local language? Really?" He asks, not wanting to be the bitter pill of reality in this situation he adds "We have enough supplies to mark out and get the set up for this Monitoring station started. After that it's up to the construction crews to come in and set up something more permanent." He says as he locks the controls and gets up. Grabbing his gear and wrapping the all weather cloak around himself the large furball disembarks off the ship. "We best leave the locals alone. Rather than getting involved with them. Last thing we need or want is to either interfere with their development to much or get them really, really angry and damage what we build." He adds.

Checking his weapons and patting where the Lightsabers were hidden on him, fantastic tools he kept without people knowing until he needed them. "Alrighty! I'm set, you're all set. Lets find ourselves a nice spot that is defensible and workable for a potential listening post. I have a Datapad hooked to the ship's passive sensors as well as topographical data. Make sure you have water as the planet has nothing on the surface. No water, no Flora either." He adds. Seemingly in a cheery disposition. Percieving him through the force for anyone who had the capability would show that Khalen was much brighter in aura than the others but even then still.. dim. He was concealing his presence in the force to keep Sith or anyone else scouting this planet from picking him out.

Night Eyes gave a low growl, but let the stranger approach. She nudged the bag that held the medicine and hoped he got the message. Jade have a few hours, maybe four, without the meds. (The meds is liquid)

The animal growled at Jack he pulled up his blaster rifle then letting it Down. He could tell it wasn't wild. It let him approach as he check the woman he didn't know what was wrong then the animal held up a bottle he grabbed it and inspected it. "Oh I get it she needs this or somthing ok" he tries to pet the animal "thanks little buddy now let's see if we can't get her up" he turned the woman and put some of the medication in her mouth she swallowed and he waited as he sat there he thought "now that I think about it she is kida cute hehe well wonder where she's from and why she's here?" But he still had his brown eyes fixed on her waiting for her to get up.

Jade's eyes fluttered open, grey against the landscape. She blinked as her Force sight returned and the figure of a man being outlined in green. "Who are you?" She asked a bit warily. Night Eyes came to her side. "Night Eyes brought you here?" Jade stroked the female Anooba.

 

[Reven Vargas]

The women awoke Jack was asked who he was "my names Jack Verjeck me and my friend heard your animal and I came to see what was up and here I am" Jack turned and spoke into his com "Alex I found out what was going on I'll tell you about after you finish about that saber of yours" he sat there and staired at the women "what are you doing out here anyway?'

 

[Magtongen]

Penne stands there.
"Thats it, if you aren't going to move, then I will." She walks off the ship, and she takes out her blaster.
"Alright, main goal right now is to find some habitats, and if I have to use force, I will, I want their resources. That's all I need." She says to herself. She starts walking off.
She takes out her tracker. It pings when there are inhabitants.

 

[Jade the Protector]

"Hiding." Jade said simply. "I needed a quiet place to meditate for a while, but I see that is impossible."

 

[Padmé]

Lock. I hate to do this folks, but Jade has not yet applied, nor has he been approved to RP the Jedi. Thread on hold until then.

[Krajin]

"No, you're not forcibly taking resources that we don't -need- from the locals. Otherwise you're no better than the Sith!" Khalen protests, following the woman with his hand resting on his sidearm. "There are no habitats. This isn't a developed world. Unless you consider rock and dirt to be a habitat. Main goal is to find a suitable location to set up." He stares at her. "Understood?!" He would add, in a more commanding manner. Khalen was not about to have some psycho try and fight the natives or forcibly take what they don't even have. The large male started to walk ahead, having left the ship and glanced back to Samuel and the Togruta. "Any questions?" He adds with a rather to-the-point tone. He wasn't messing around today.

 

[Magtongen]

"Any questions? No, not any." She still carries her e-11 in her hand.
"Oh! I know! Can I go see what wildlife there is,and see if it's edible?"

 

[Tank]

Samuel touched his index finger to his head and pointed at Khalen. "Smart. I still think it wouldn't be a bad idea to at least approach them, I mean, if they are hostile, they're just going to tear down or attack anything we build. We'd also have to send along a security force with anyone who comes to set up the observation post. If they're peaceful though, things will go a lot better."

Penne and Khalen had a short exchange after which Khalen and Penne both exited the vessel. Samuel, who hadn't been anywhere near ready to leave the spaceship yet jumped up out of his chair and threw on his brown nerf leather jacket and picked up his weapons. An old slugthrower machine gun and a scatter gun. The slugthrower was slung around his back while the scatter gun was in his hands. As Samuel walked down the ramp he was struck by how dry the air was. Almost instantly he could feel the skin beneath his clothes begin to itch from the dryness. Every breath he took seemed empty. "Let's not stay here too long. I don't like it."

Samuel pointed to the peak of the mountain they'd landed on. It had been too sharp to land on the peak itself and so they'd settled for a flatter area. "Wanna head up there first? We can scout out the situation with the locals after we see if there's a good spot near the peak?"

The valley sprawled out below them. Penne's question ran through Samuel's head. "Can I go see what wildlife there is, and see if it's edible?"

The lack of vegetation and surface water was enough evidence for Samuel that other than the Tangenee, there probably weren't any other lifeforms on the planet surface. And they didn't really have time to scout out the entire planet for cave systems, just to see if there was anything tasty to eat, it would only slow their mission down further.

Alex and Jack sat there but suddenly Alex opened his eyes and looked around "what's wrong Alex scared" Alex punch him in the shoulder "no I just saw somthing with the force two people don't know wether friendly or not" Jack then said "OW! Ok ok let's just stay here were ok" Alex nodded and went about his business.
