Tangible Possibilities

[Magtongen]

"Your silence disturbs me, Samuel. I guess I will take that as a no. Do you think we could convince the natives if they ask, we could say 'Oh, we are building a radio tower. Nothing much', or something like that?" Penne looks at Samuel with a gleam in her eye. She puts on a smile.

 

[Krajin]

Khalen shook his head as they spoke "You forget that we don't have anything to communcate with them through unless you have a Droid there that can translate."

 

[Tank]

Samuel was opening his mouth to answer Penne when Khalen beat him to it. "Exactly. We can't do much more than try to trade with them. If they shoot at us, we'll probably need to bring security back with us. If they seem nice and helpful we may not have anything to worry about. But first thing is first. We gotta get up that mountain before dark. I say we get going."

 

[Reven Vargas]

It was starting to get dark and Jack was ready to sleep "Alright man see You in the morning" he went to his bag slipped in and fell asleep but Alex wanted to stay up he had heared that the stars here were to die for

 

[Krajin]

"Shoot at us with Bows? Yeah. Smart. Okay, one way or another we should just keep our distance. Security will need to be posted one way or another. You do not place a listening post without having defences to keep out foreign agents if they find it." The Trianii said. "Do you understand at all? We don't need to trade with them either. We don't need anything they may have. Unless you're really into primitive materials." He added as he started for their target mountain.

 

[Magtongen]

"Alright." She just goes silent, and follows Trianii.

 

[Tank]

Samuel heaved a sigh and nodded his head. He didn't agree with Khalen, but there was nothing he could do about it now. The mountain ahead of them, like all the mountains on the planet was sharp and jutted out at strange angles. It was rocky and tall. The climb would probably take them about an hour to reach the summit and the dry air was already sapping Samuel of any hydration he had. Samuel took a sip from his canteen and stored it back on his hip. The view really was remarkable on the way up the mountain. From the peak they were headed to any communications outpost would have clear signals. It was the tallest peak in the discernible mountain range and had a magnificent view of the light, light blue sky above. Maybe it was the lack of moisture, Samuel wasn't sure, but the sky was might lighter in color than planets he was familiar with. It provided a stark contrast however, to the dark brown stony planet.

After traveling half an hour they reached a small clearing. They were still a few hundred meter from the top of the peak, but the path to the top was blocked by a sheer cliff face. They could either stop here or continue on to the top but they would have to circle the mountain, costing them another thirty minutes or so of walking. Samuel picked a flat rock and sat down to take a breath while they discussed their options. "What do you guys think? Keep going or check out this spot?"

 

[Jade the Protector]

Pain.... just throbbing, stabbing pain. This was all Jade was aware of when she woke in a small, dark cave. She felt for Night Eyes, the Anooba nudged her, adding the sensation of fur to her senses. Slowly, Jade could feel the rocks pressing into her ribs, through this, she could tell that she was laying on her side. She felt the dry wind from outside blowing in her face, so she was facing the outside.
Night Eyes must have dragged her here after the battle with the Sith. He or she had jumped her and forced Jade to fight for her life. Jade did her best, using the force, but it took Night Eyes leaping on the Sith in order for her master to lay a mark on the person. Once the Sith thought she was going to die, he or she ran off, leaving her barely awake on the ground. The last thing Jade felt was the Anooba against her side.
"Where...are...we...Girl?" Jade weakly laid a hand on Night Eyes. The creature yipped and tipped her head. She couldn't tell her master that she didn't know. "It's ok, I'm not sure either. Let's just hope we don't be dinner for some creature." Jade felt sleepiness overtaking her again, Night Eyes barked to keep her awake, but it did nothing.

 

[Magtongen]

Penne opens her mouth.
"We should check this spot out. Looks pretty cool." She smiles. She starts walking around.
"I bet that there is a cave somewhere. May I look around?"

 

[Reven Vargas]

As Alex stayed up he made a connection with the force able to see who was close the only thing he could tell was one person and an animal in a cave his vision with the force told him Alex was interested he could sense she was a force weilder as well so he wanted to talk hoping it would work he tried to talk to the person in the cave through the force and mind "Can you here me..........don't freak out I just want to talk I can scenes you please reply if you can hear me" he said telepathically.

 

[Jade the Protector]

Jade stirred at the mental voice. "H--help." She said before passing out again. Night Eyes saw the stranger and gave a cautious growl. Would this person help or not? The Anooba was usure, but if he was going to harm her master, he was wrong.

 

[Reven Vargas]

Alex came out of his trance like meditation and stood up he knew where the cave was so he grabbed a few things and headed tward it his friend here at camp would be fine so he jogged off to the cave when he arrived he turned on a flash light in one hand and held a lightsaber in the other just in case he started to look around "Hey where are you?" Hoping she would respond

 

[Jade the Protector]

Night Eyes yipped, trying to call him over.

Alex heared a yip type noise so he investigated sure enough he found the animal and the women near it he came closer to might help the women with what ever was wrong.

 

[Jade the Protector]

Night Eyes tensed, but sensing that the man was here to help, moved to let him by. Jade stirred again, and jumped, feeling another presence. "Who....are....you.." She coughed harshly. Her force sight flared once, showing a shadow outlined in green, then faded. She shivered as a breeze blew through. "Sith....fight....injured...." Jade tried to tell him what happened, but was still too weak.

 

[Reven Vargas]

Calm down your ok now rest your going to need it I'll stay as long as I have to" Alex smiled and sat down waiting if she needed somthing

 

[Jade the Protector]

Jade showed him the injures she gained from the fight. She needed medical care, and fast. Night Eyes whimpered and nudged her master. Who was this stranger? Whoever it was, showed no harm, rather, he cared. Jade gestured to a gash on her shoulder, bleeding strongly. It had slowed, but not by much, if it wasn't patched, Jade would die. The Anooba tried to get Jade to grab the harness so they could get out of the cave, but the pale hand went limp on the ground. Night Eyes whimpered and gave the man a look saying: "Please, help us." The Anooba had some gashes and cuts as well, but they seem to be closing.

 

[Krajin]

Khalen glanced at the woman "Keep in contact. We'll check out this site some more." He replied. Digging out a few tools. Namely a scanner and began to program it. "Somewhere high, plenty of space.. enough to get defences up and running as well as the tower itself." He mutters. "Why are you so intent on pestering the locals for trade?" He asks the man with him.

 

[Reven Vargas]

Alex looked at the wounds and thought to himself "I was a sith at one time but left but I'm no Jedi but I was lucky enough to have one teach me to heal" Alex neeld beside here and put his hands over. The wound his hands started to glow and he did this the wounds cleared up and healed when he was done he sat down it had tired him a little but he and she were fine now

 

[Jade the Protector]

Her breathing eased, Jade felt the wounds healing. "Who....are....you?" She gasped, still pretty weak. "Where........" Her vouce trailed off as she went back into unconsciousness. Jade felt safer, this stranger didn't harm her, didn't seem to want to. However, if he was faking, she wouldn't be able to fight back, even if she wanted to.
Night Eyes watched the man, getting closer to Jade once the healing was finished. She licked the man's hand in thanks before nudging her master. Jade placed an arm around her shoulder and huddled closer to Night Eyes as she passed out again.
They needed to get out of here, perhaps to a medical center, while she was out of danger, Jade still needed nourishment and such, but in her weakened state, she couldn't eat.
