In case you guys ever need these things, I'm available:

NPCer - Unless you need a faction-specific guy, I'm here. I can do Cartel NPCing too on the off-chance you need that.

Social/Mission Threads - You need/want a Commander-level PC for something? I can do that.

Heavy Support - Running up against capital ships? The Ether Hawk will run in like a motherly rancor with far more destructive power.

Jedi - My Jedi Master is running around as a Rebel Agent, so on the off-chance you need some Force-Powers and Forim (CALLING YOU OUT MM) can't cut it, Von Raythe can show up.

This is what I'm working off:

Team 1- prep-work
Alice (Insoulent)

Team 2- distraction
Tex (LaPurple) and Higs (SOB)

Team 3- pilots
Arya (Me) and Forim (Minuteman)

We're going to try the "Rolling Fade", so posting order right now will be

You>Possum>You>Possum

or a couple rounds until you feel your part is suffuciently completed, at which point we can assume you escape, followed by:

Purple>Sob>Possum>Purple>SOB>Possum

until same as above, at which point Forim and I will finish it off in the following manner:

Me>Minuteman>Possum>Me>Minuteman>Possum


Does this look reasonable, or do you guys foresee issues? It's a little non-standard, but I've got high hopes.

OK, since Bauren is reducing his character load for awhile (meaning we're down one pilot/bridge crewman) and Ender seems to have taken another hiatus, the following mission is back up for grabs to anyone who wants it:

"Yeh, so it's not the prettiest ship ever. We've got holes in the outer plating and in the main hull, and some of the non-critical internal sections still have their atmosphere vented. Droids and maintenance personnel having been working round the clock to install temporary hull patches and repair important wiring so that we can re-seal and restore power to those sections. Here's the problem- We've lost three droids now, and one of the Gand mechanics came back yesterday so frightened that he's still sitting in the infirmary unable to speak anything other than gibberish. Now half the crew's muttering on about demons and ghosts and giant kriffing mynocks and all sorts of other superstitions osik, and work has come to a stand still. I don't believe any of that junk, but with the inner hull open to vacuum for so long, who knows what may have come home to roost while we were sitting in an asteroid field somewhere. Go in there, clean it out, and report back. We need those sections back on line." -Captain Atin'al

OBJECTIVES:

• Explore the vented sections and the storage spaces between the inner and outer hull
• Figure out what's been terrorizing the crew
• Kill it with fire

EDIT: LaPurple, You're going to be up next in "Where do they keep all the pretty toys?". I was going to write another transition post, but I don't think it's necessary. We'll assume Alice's (Insoulent) message with the layout and manifest went to all of us, signalling the attack. You and SoB hit the front of the train hard and fast, as discussed, but try not to kill everyone.

Hey SoB, LaPurple has been out for a few days, and it was supposed to be his turn in "...All the Pretty Toys". Can you go ahead and do the intro post for your team there instead? Then if Purple isn't back soon, we'll remove or replace him.


Also, Minuteman is next up with some instructions in Project OVERLORD, where things are about to get exciting. Feel free to kill our generic red shirt NPC's here, so long as you make it suitably spectacular and gory.

So, I guess I'll sign Ral up to join the crew as a marine/shock trooper. Ral's got no love for the Empire or the Sith since they firebombed his home. He's kinda quiet, but good at shooting things or flying a ship if he needs to. I would say he's also very Mandalorian. Haha

Welcome aboard! If you're looking to get involved with something right away, SoB could use some help clearing the dark, sometimes atmosphereless bowels of the ship in the mission posted above.

Also, I read Rals bio. Will Mrs Aran be joining us as well?

Lol she can. Do you want her to? It makes little difference to me, I just get an NPC to play around with from time to time. If you want more Mandos on this ship then she can come along. I kinda just assume she's off with her parents when I don't have her with Ral.

She's more than welcome. I'd like for all of us to develop NPCs to pal around on the ship with us when we're not on missions- minuteman has most of a squadron written up. Eventually I'll get a running list going so we can flesh out the ship and crew- make it more homey.
