SKILLS
Picon Russe is extremely fast and agile. He can move, think, and react at high speeds. His body is also able to withstand higher amounts of G-Force than even a normal human can while wearing a G suit. While he is proportionately as strong as a humans, his size limits him to having to do very quick and weak attacks.

LIGHTSABER/SWORD FORMS
None

GEAR
  • Special Sneakers: These light-weight sneakers are specially made for Picon Russe. They virtually never wear out, even at the speed Russe can move, and are highly resistant to friction incase he ever has to jump off of his board. They also connect to his board easily.
  • Gloves: These white gloves have little practical function, but they are very stylish and have red sock like cuffs.
  • Goggles: To make sure that there is nothing getting in his eyes, he puts on these goggles that block out bugs and the like.

SHIP
Hoverboard: The hoverboard is a highly maneuverable and incredibly fast mechanism. It hovers above the air and can speed through the air at a top speed of 400 mph. The board connects to Russe's unique sneakers or it is otherwise inactive. Once connected to the feet, it works like a regular skate board. The board runs off of kinetic energy, and the thermal energy that is generated while it is in use making it virtually able to run for ever. It also possesses the ability to fly through the air for a short amount of time before it has to close the distance between itself and the ground. It is made from very powerful metals that can even work at a shield in times.

PETS
None

PERSONALITY
Piscon Russe is a humble little squib who is slightly reluctant to use his abilities in the face of danger. While he is easily excited, loves to move, and is very courageous at times, he refrains from getting into too many fights. However, when it comes to the evil Doc Metal, Russe always rises to the occasion to fight. Even while showing reluctance, most of the time he will make an attempt to do good, mostly due to his good nature and sense of justice. Russe also displays a great sense of irony and sarcasm, as well as flamboyant and showy displays of ability.

BIOGRAPHY
From the moment that Picon Russe was born, people could tell that there was something different about him. By some random mutation, his eyes were green, and his hair was not just blue but white in some areas and very frizzy. As he grew, he began to accumulate a more laid back attitude and an extreme aptitude for skate boarding. One day, at the age of ten, he was running through the city after he had been separated from his parents. There was a scientist there with very evil intentions. When that scientist saw how fast Picon could react, he tricked him into a cage, and took him to his secret laboratory. The scientist theorized that Picon could be fast enough to test out the newest hover board creation that the scientist had created. The scientist, who's name was Vladimir Metal, created a prototype of the hover board small enough for young Picon and even gave Picon some new hyper resistant sneakers. He then forced Picon to put test the new board in highly dangerous tracks and stunts. At first, it seemed as if Picon could utilize the hover board with great effect. Metal decided to create a track that would almost certainly kill Picon, so that he could see the full ability of the board. However the moment he attempted to, Picon escaped.

While escaping, Picon began to demonstrate the ability to do incredible turns, hit a high speed of 400 mph, and the ability to stay high in the air for a short time. Eventually, the little squib was able to escape from the clutches of his captor, and started back to his family. However the laboratory's location, and Picon's home, were in very different locations. The blue squib realized that he would have to do a lot of running to get back home. Forests, mountains, and rivers that stretched for miles between Picon and his home. With the evil Vladimir Metal on his tail, whom the squib now refers to as "Doc Metal," Picon Russe raced back to his home all the way on the other side of the forest. Along the way he made good use of all of his abilities. He learned that he was fast enough to displace his weight on water without sinking, that he could break through metal if he used the energy barrier with a high speed roll, and that he could run completely unrestrained with his hyper friction resistant sneakers.

Eventually, Picon Russe escaped Doc Metal's clutches and even destroyed his ultimate inventions. When Picon returned home, he found that his parents were very worried about him, and that they had been searching the entire planet for him. When questioned where Picon got his strange hovercraft and where he had been, the blue squib began to relay the story to his mother and father.

You can't move at the speed of sound.

Jedi Masters can't even run that fast for a few seconds. There's no way you can run faster than a fighter jet for extended amount of time without any sort of training.

Why doesn't any admin ever speak up about this during the discussion period... You know before I did all this work?

You wouldn't be able to be rolling around at the speed of sound

...

Also, that kinetic barrier thing is INSANELY advanced for current timeline tech.

ANd no one spoke up because you didn't mention moving at MACH 1.

Sonic the hedgehog should have been the tip.

I don't think anyone thought you would go for a full on Sonic knock off.

So yes, our error for underestimating the depths of the copy.

It was supposed to be full sonic-eqsue. I guess I didn't make it clear enough that the concept was going to be mostly sonic. When you are doing a sonic the hedgehog tribute character, you aren't supposed to change the most popular aspects of the character.

So you know; failure in communication.

I guess we thought you would stay feasible to the Star Wars universe. Make a compromise perhaps, so that the character wasn't farcical.

Well mostly I did. It was just the Force Speed part. What if I just make him naturally super fast? Like a mutation.

Edit: Then I could take away his force sensitivity and things he could learn would be gone.

Mutations are in actual fact very boring (if potentially lethal) defects in your DNA if they happen to be expressed. The most spectacular mutation I've heard of is Cystic Fibrosis (which is now a genetic disease, but began with mutation), which is essentially having lungs that fill with snot instead of air.

The odds of a section of DNA changing to magically enable a life form that finds it biologically impossible to run at MACH1 (your muscles would simply fail) are astronomical.

Well isn't mutations and natural selection how most of the near-humans came into existence?

That happened over thousands and thousands of years. A monkey didn't have a baby one day that just happened to be the first early-human, the species developed very very slowly as those with favourable genes survived to reproduce and did so and those without died.

In short: Mutation isn't the fast track to super powers that hollywood portrays it as. It takes thousands if not millions of years for a species to develop a single trait.

Well what if his parents and ancestry of the like were also increasingly faster and different from other squibs over time?

Well what if his parents and ancestry of the like were also increasingly faster and different from other squibs over time?

In order to give the trait the best chance of survival a serious amount of inbreeding would have to occur, and that produces all sorts of genetic problems within a population.

As the population gets smaller (for example your small community of Squibs who are breeding exclusively with eachother to try and express faster running genes), the effects of genetic drift are amplified exponentially.

Genetic drift is complicated, but the basics behind the idea are that as genes are either dominant or recessive they have different probabilities of being expressed. This means that as a population decreases the probability of retaining recessive genes reduces and the consequences of this effect are amplified to the point that genes can even be lost from a gene-pool altogether, which can have debilitating consequences for that population.

So: No, you cannot have a group of isolated squibs that happened to breed into super fast sonic rip-offs over millennia. They would all be so utterly inbred that the amount of genetic defects and diseases they would each be suffering from would be enough to kill them all several times over.
