((Forcing myself to post is bad for me, but I'm getting worried about the activity))

Passing the guards, the druid and her captives were approached by a wood elf garbed in jade green robes. No emotion was displayed on his face as he strode.

"I'll take them from here, Ravanys," he spoke in Surface Common, placing a hand over her wound. The druid muttered a three-word incantation, and the rapier wound closed. It would definitely sting a bit, but that is better than having an infection from it. Renothil already knows about the drow's intrusion, and deducted that the wound was the dark elf's doing. Who knows what the drow dipped his blade in.

"A dryad told me that there is a group of goblins on the outskirts of the forest. Remove them," he told Ravanys. The male druid did not tell Ravanys which direction to go, but she should know where: the dryad, who is practically everywhere in the forest, can direct her better than he can.

Ravanys' eyes burned with a strange fire for a moment, then she nodded, the barest of curtseys in the slight dipping of her knees. None other than those who lived in Suldanessar were aware of the great tension shared between the two in that exchange. For Ravanys to not only submit, but to show respect furthermore, was nearly unheard of in public, especially amongst...outsiders. Despite her hard exterior, Ravanys was a vain little girl. The rumours told of her at home, no matter how true they really were, hurt her more than she let on...truths of a futile desire...

Eying several of the rangers, and without any other visible gesture, she turned on her heel and vanished into the trees. Those who had met her gaze also departed - the company was of no more than twenty, with Ravanys leading the group. Perhaps it would have been wiser for the woman to take more with her, but she felt a band of Goblins would be no threat in comparison to outsiders, including a Paladin...

Ravanys loathed paladins.

The male druid watched as Ravanys and the few select rangers make their leave. They will be fine: goblins are not really the courageous type. He then turned his attention back to the ranger and paladin. "The two of you, come with me."

Gesturing to the two with a wave, the druid walked towards the city. Some of the passer-bys bowed their heads to him. Others muttered, "Hello, Renothil." Renothil gave a light smile and nod to each, and continued along his route. Although the rangers stayed put, it cannot be forgotten that they are still large in numbers, all skilled with the bow. The paladin and the human ranger, on the otherhand, are completely weaponless.

Thoril followed with out word. He didnt want to say or do something stupid that might endanger his own wellbeing or that of the ranger. He didnt know the ranger, but it was onw of his many jobs to protect others who need it. The majority of the elves that crossed their path as they followed the elf druid towards wherever they where going gave Thoril odd looks and some didnt even meet his gaze.

{so where to?} Ahlan asked in elven his tone was closer to the woodelfs, as he had learned from a wood elf. He walked head bent slightly, he was looking around at all of the city he had been previously forbidden to enter. The elves disliked outsiders, even those who were more that willing to follow their laws and rituals.

Gnom was furious at the lack of reaction by the forest inhabitants, he wanted blood, kills, and most of all slaves. The trunk of the tree next to him had a few slashes in it from the times he could not contain his rage. Around the base of the tree were shards of wood and branches, definite give aways to his position.

Noting this Gnom took a leap of faith to the next tree, barely grabbing unto the branch with the tip of his nails. Clawing his way back up he continued his wait. The elf things would come soon, they had to, such an attack to their forest could not go unpunished.

The tree square still had the goblin propped up against one of the sides, in an effort to make any passer byers attack it first, so the rest of the goblins could ambush the attacker. And so he continued to wait, for coming of the attackers.

"To your punishment," replied Renothil, speaking in Surface Common, purposefully for the paladin to hear.

The druid led the two towards one of the more central buildings of the hidden city, opened the door, and gestured for them to enter. Inside is a large, but drained, spring. "You two are to clean the house, top to bottom, then we will escort you out when you are done. Everything you need is inside."

The spring looks pretty filthy - mud lining the rim of what is supposedly the ledge, dirt caking the walls, and more. "A young druid's spell went haywire," he explained, "he was about to clean it when you two came along."

Ahlan set to work immediately starting at the ceiling. He worked effortlessly. Just so he wouldn't have to get into conversation with the paladin he told him what to do in elven, {Start up top and move down tot he floor. Work quickly.} The work was nt as hard as it was dirty, But Ahlan didn't mind

"ya that helps alot" Thoril said to himself as Ahlan said something to him in elven. He got the jist of what to do from watching Ahlan so he took off the majority of his armor and mimiced Ahlan's movements to clean the area.

They'd nearly finished all of the work and Ahlan stopped for a second...about now at this time of day he would be eating. His stomach pained him silently and He took a rag and stepping on it scrubbed out crusted black gunk. After throwing the rag into a bucket he clapped his hands and looked to what the paladin was doing{"Paladin are you quite finished?"}He asked again in elven. The paladin would have to get used to it. He was in their city and Ahlan wanted to make sure his elven was still crisp.

Thoril stood up and cleaned his hands off in the bucket water. " Why must you insist on using a language I cant understand?" He said with a slight annoyence. He had finished cleaning his area and was wating for the elf to come back to tell them what was happening next. He sat down next to the bucket and started to strap on the pieces of his armor on as he waited.

Ravanys and her rangers kept a loose formation, bows drawn as they crept through the forest, their footsteps soundless as they crept towards their target. Ravanys' own druid powers had allowed her to sense the damage done to the forest, and so she followed that pain to its source. She communicated with her forces by hands signal alone as they drew closer. If there was ever going to be an attack...it would be now.

Renothil, feeling that the job is done, returned to the bath house. Alongside him is a young elf, who was gracious enough to provide the punished food: mostly vegetables, but food nevertheless. The two entered the house, and Renothil gestured the younger elf to place the tray of food on the floor. "Eat, then the two of you will be escorted out."

Instead of leaving too, he sat down in front of the tray, with the intention of having a meal alongside the two. Elegantly carved plates were placed on the floor, and the male druid gestures them to eat.

Thoril scooted over towards Renothil and the food staying seated. " Thank you friend, its very generous of you to offer your prisoners food." He would wait till after the others took their share before getting his.

{"Thank you."}He said simply. The elves are usually kind to their prisoners anyway. He sat down and did not eat. He took a small ammount of food,{"What are we to do next?"}

Now unlike goblins, elves smell decent, and that was a fact according to Gnom. So as the elves creep closer, so did their smell, and once he caught a whiff of it, Gnom knew there was an attack coming. Perking his head up he waved his fellow goblins forth, his feet barely able to hold on as he jumped from branch to branch.

For all the advantages to the attack, there was also a flaw the rancid smell the goblins were producing must attract the attention of the elves, but it didn't matter for gnom's men would slaughter them and if not, he who runs away lives to fight another day. And as they jumped closer to elves shields in front that saying kept on running through his mind.

((My posts are getting lame...))

"I'm going easy on the three of you this time," said Renothil, gathering food onto his plate with his hands (which are clean, by the way), "expect much worse the next time you intrude on sacred grounds."

His guests seemed to be distrustful of the food...

Seeing that Renothil got his share of food, Thoril decided it time for him to get his share also. Grabbing a small handful of food and quietly munching on it before saying. " You wont have to worry about that. My senses where focused on the drow, if I had known it was sacred ground I wouldnt have entered in the first place."

Ravanys held up her hand and the company came to a halt. She stopped for a moment, tilted her head, sniffed the air, and then quickly turned to one of her fellow rangers. The lad was skilled with weapons, that was true, but he lacked experience. But that was unimportant at this stage - he was their fastest runner.

{Halvan...we are outnumbered. Bring word to Suldanessar immediately we require aid. Go with haste!}

The boy bit his lower lip, then nodded before vanishing amongst the trees. Ravanys signaled for her rangers to close in tight, a small circle in the center of a clearing. Hopefuly the goblins would consider the huddled elves too tasty a treat to compare to a single runner...

Seeing the elves foolishly huddle together, Gnom let out a cackle. His men would slaughter them, didn't they know coming together only made them a taster target. But there was that one smart one, he was running away, clearly he could not take a battle, it didn't matter what he would do, all that mattered now was the killing of the elves at hand.

Coming to the clearing the goblins spread out in the nearby trees, hoping to come at the elves from all sides. When they all were in position they sprang, the goblins jumped toward the elves with their shield held to block some incoming fire. If they landed on an elf, he would be a very unlucky person for the goblins would tear his skin with their feet. And if he landed near them, the goblins would go for their legs and hope their sheer weight of numbers would kill them.
