Outside the room, there were a few shouts, rousing the attention of Renothil. He stood up and walked to the open doorway. A young ranger was sprinting towards him. The elf stopped, pressed a hand over his heart in greeting. "There are too many goblins," he rasps.

Renothil sighs, and nods. "You may return to the strike force, and be sure not to wear yourself out going back. The fight is about to begin."

As the ranger made his way back, Renothil re-entered the room. "Grab some food if you wish: we are leaving earlier than I anticipated."

Walking to a corner of the room, the male druid placed both hands over a wall, and begins muttering an incantation. Seconds pass, and he steps back. "Bring the prisoners their weapons, there is business to attend to. Renothil." He let the message fade, and pressed both hands over the wall again, with the intention of casting another spell.

The Necromancer watched as the goblins circled the elves. He hoped there would be deaths. He had the spells ready. His minions, mainly Kobolds, circled him, the dull glow in their eyes unshifting, their rotting flesh showing bone beneath. One, the only non-Kobold, an ex-human, was bloated to almost the point of explosion.

Ruukil held out his arms. Recieving his weapons he returned his blades to their sheathes. {"Thank you, where do we go next?"}He notched an arrow and made sure all was well with his weapon and placed it away."Paladin...dont do anythign stupid again." He finally said something in the paladins language, he threw his hood on and stood still waiting for his next order.

" Nothing I did was stupid, I was only following Tyr's will. Which was to expel that drow some the living realm." Thoril said as he sheathed his sword and finished putting his armor back on. Something was obviously wrong, there wasnt a whole lot of reasons for captives to give their prisoners back their weapons unless something was up. He had felt a nagging feeling for the past couple of half hour but had dismissed it as it wasnt a very strong feeling. Now that the elves had acted so oddly towards whatever was out there, Thoril decided to revise his previous conclusion.

((Sorry about the lateness))

{We're going back to the forests. An unusually large pack of goblins is hurting this forest,} replied Renothil. He finished his cast, and an opening grew in the wall, made obvious by the crackling wood. "Not all think the same way as you, paladin. I know for a fact that the followers of Eilistraee wish to bring the drow back to the surface."

He gave a slight shrug. "The drow is not important right now. I made a portal so that we can travel swiftly to the forests. It will bring us close, but not next to, the goblins. Enter expecting combat." Renothil gestured to the portal. "If I pass through, this portal will close. Please enter with haste."

" So thats the presence I felt...." Thoril said as he walked towards and through the portal. In an instant he was back in the forest. A different feeling surrounded him instead of peace, hatred and an animal blood lust echoed through the forest from an area full of screams of death and war. He drew his sword and waited for the elf and the ranger to come out of the portal.

Ahlan walked into the portal and immediately faded into the foliage surrounding them. In the forest he planned not to be seen, or heard. The elves would cathc him if he ran and he raised his bow and quickly checked it. {Then we should move, master elf} He watched the paladin and waited to move. His feet disturbed nothing of the ground below him. Not even a twig or leaf broke bneath his careful steps.

Seeing the elves foolishly huddle together, Gnom let out a cackle. His men would slaughter them, didn't they know coming together only made them a taster target. But there was that one smart one, he was running away, clearly he could not take a battle, it didn't matter what he would do, all that mattered now was the killing of the elves at hand.

Coming to the clearing the goblins spread out in the nearby trees, hoping to come at the elves from all sides. When they all were in position they sprang, the goblins jumped toward the elves with their shield held to block some incoming fire. If they landed on an elf, he would be a very unlucky person for the goblins would tear his skin with their feet. And if he landed near them, the goblins would go for their legs and hope their sheer weight of numbers would kill them.

As a rule, Elven bows tend to be rather powerful. Most have magical enchantments to a certain degree, or at least are built to such a standard they behave in a similar manner. These were no different. The marksmanship of the Elves was incredible, but complemented by their bows it was in a whole different league. goblins fell in droves as arrows found gaps in armor, or pierced the beast's eyes. After the first volley, a half of the Elves quickly threw down their bows, unsheathing their blades in one fluid motion, felling many more of the hideous beasts. Ravanys stood back for a moment, her hands crackling with energy as she focused. Just a few more seconds... she thought, as the air was suddenly filled with the whistling of arrows and the accompanying screams of goblins.

Shambling Kobold dead broke from the trees, an unearthly glow in their eyes. Each held a stone, dropping them into the open mouths of the dead. A low chanting reverberated around the clearing. The dead rose, and pressed in, scrabbling at the elves, with naught more than sharpened sticks and claws.

Seeing a portion of his army fall Gnom, started to slowly back up, for he could always raise another army. But at the appearance of the Kobold, gave him and the goblin army new life. Those goblins that did manage to land, hacked away at the elves, aiming mainly for the feet, and then once an elf did fall, a goblin would jump upon him and cut his head off.

As the last of the goblins reached the grassy floor, they all backed up forming a ring around the elves slashing at the elven bows on the way back. Then once they did, all of them charged jumping and clawing toward the elves, trying to employ the tactic of overwhelming the elves.

The undead beings presence burned inside Thorils head as he ran towards the battle ahead. A righteous furry filled his being and he burst past the tree line and into the battle area. Not even acknowledging the goblins that fought the elves, he went straight for the undead beings. Since they where focused on the elves and resurrecting the dead, he was able to blind side them and cut one down almost instantly. As he fought his sword started to heat up and soon burst into a blue flame when it touched the tainted flesh of the undead.

Ahlan sighed and began to stalk towards the small battle raging. His bow drawn and aimed he let loose a single shot headed for a goblin[Gnom] the angle was good and if he was lucky the shot would kill, but it looked like a thigh shot more than anything deadly. He calmy watched and notched another arrow. The windwas weak and was working slightly in his favour, his cover was good and he had his short blade in leaning against a nearby tree. Did his blade reflect a sliver of sunlight? he wouldn't know but the slightest sliver of sunlight was reflecting against Ravanys' armor.
