Yag'dhul was a terrible planet, truly. Three moons pulling it's atmosphere into distinct, barely-livable fractions of dirt. But the Givin, like all life, persevered. They adapted, and throughout their wondrous and very mathematical history they created one of the most complex and highly efficient societies in all of the Galaxy. However, this didn't change the fact that the planet itself was almost like an anomaly in space. And the Givin loved that fact. Their society was as close to an organic droid hive-brain as could be, but it was willingly. They mixed analytic reason with nature so perfect that is was a marvel to be seen.

"You see, everything in this Universe can be explained through numbers. Curves, lines, growth - all of it. Everything has a numerical value, even love." a lanky boned-faced Givin explained. "We Givin have mastered calculations, and work together. That is the fundamental law in Givin society, to work together. Eleven cannot equal twelve, the numbers do not cooperate. However we can input more calculations to make it true, our calculations only get more complex and more defined. The Body Calculus is the prime example of our society, and the best and brightest. The Sith's Empire leaves no room for cooperation, only forced obedience. Unruliness is only the natural reaction to get a favorable outcome." the Givin said, as his face churned a slight smile, or what looked like one anyway.

Arkantos was curious of the Givin, he had met many before, but he had never really known about their society and the like. They were an interesting people however. To many beings in the Galaxy they were frightening, yet they weren't really imposing as a species. They were highly-calculating, working on many levels above the galactic norm. In a way, the Jedi Master could respect that. However the Givin had this uncanny attitude he couldn't quite put his finger on. It was admirable, though.

The Givin, which he introduced himself as "Pi", was the Leader of the minority faction within the Body Calculus and apparent son of the Governor. It was a code name the Givin took to hide his face in the sea of other Givins, many species in the Galaxy had a hard time figuring out which one is which as their faces were near-identical to one another. Givins could tell the difference though. Pi was the leader of the resistance, and was determined to liberate as many of the Calculus as he could. He was the one who had arranged a team of Jedi and other Rebels to infiltrate the planet - with a bit of a bump in help from Arkantos. He had supplied a front to get them all planet-side, but it was Pi who did most of the heavy lifting.

"The Sith don't understand, but we do." the Givin said, drawing a circle on the floor beneath him. "It is not about opportunities, or possibilities. It is about eventualities." the Givin stated. "Whether it be today, or tomorrow - or thousands of years from now - they will fall. And we will lend our minds to their defeat." the Givin explained. Turning back to look up, he saw a small gathering of Givin, with only four non-Givins. Jedi Master Arkantos Rajax, Jedi Knight Raleigh, Jedi Padawan Shard Avelar and a member of the Rebellion Jahairal Val Khoran. In truth, the four had never worked together, or barely knew one another, but their skill sets set them apart enough to be able to work well. At least in the Givin's Calculations. They were in some undisclosed factory near the heart of Dodecapolis, the Givin's capital. The factory itself produced some sort of "perfect-pH balanced water", but was converted as the Insurgent's home base, at least in this part of the world. There were many others, Pi assured the team, but the Dodecapolis sect was tasked with the liberation of the planet's leaders - and that's what they'd do.

"Most of us have our calculations, but would our guests like to add anything before we begin?" Pi questioned, extending his hand to the quartet of allies in the front of the Givin crowd.

Raleigh listened carefully to the Givin named Pi who explained just why the Sith craved their skill and why they failed to harness their abilities. Pi sure did talk a a lot but his words spoke calculated wisdom that surprised Raleigh every time the Givin spoke of the calculated fact of his words. Raleigh was not an exceptionally bright man when it came to advanced education, he would never be able to understand what the Givin would call basics in their culture. Despite his educated short comings, he still had the wit and wisdom to understand what the Givin was talking about and knew well that that the sith's downfall, how ever unknown its time was, would become a fact. It was interesting how the nature of the force flowed as well as their calculations did, Raleigh could see the outcomes Pi spoke of but it was the Givin's words that gave sense to the shatter point.

Answering to Pi's question, Raleigh's wisdom and insight in the force would widen their scope on the matter of the vision "I can see feel and see into the force in a special way in the form of Shatter point, I can see weaknesses in objects and people but also in events through time. I think I can see a fracture in the shatter point of the empire were the Givin are evolved, the rebellion and the jedi will surely get an upper hand over our dark enemies. Shatter Points are not clear as one hopes but I believe your words give it more a greater sense. Before today, rescuing the Body Calculus might have been impossible with so much security but the sith have grown inpatient. The sith seem to be willing to move the Body were they can be more easily proved of their knowledge.....and so a shatter point has been revealed to be yet gain. I am sure master Arkantos can see it as well but I can sense that in some time as the Body is being transferred off world, there will be an opening for us to take advantage and rescue the Body. The force rarely expresses such valuable shatter points and it is our duty to make sense of it and exploit it as best as we can. Sadly I cannot say much else as Shatter Points are clear and unclear at the same time and I sense simply exploiting it will not be enough."

Raleigh's thoughts were a bit back to his padawan who he had been training to the bone for the past month with plenty of meditation and rests but bitter training. She had surpassed his expectations and was skilled enough to go to her own mission alone but he did worry at times if she followed his counsel in meditation. He was prone to urge his padawan about the Eightfold path and the code but knowledge was different then application. He hoped she was all right and well mentally and physically.

Shard was the lowest ranking Jedi among the three who had been tasked for this mission. The others, including a Rebel whom they would be launching this joint operation with, all had their unique skillsets that might come into play on this mission. He had never met Master Arkantos before today, but he was sure that if he had been granted the rank of "master", then he would certainly be an excellent choice to direct their actions. Knight Raleigh had briefly been Shard's tutor on Naboo, helping him to incorporate some of Form III, Soresu's movements into his lightsaber combat. Shard raised an eyebrow as Raleigh spoke of Shatterpoints, knowing about the ability but never having seen it in action. To have such an ability would be a great advantage.

Shard had an inkling of why he'd been selected for this mission. He had a unique way that his being connected to the Force, in that it was weaker when he was alone, and stronger when he worked in a group. Shard drew his strength in the Force from his allies, and in turn they received a boost to their powers through him. A team dynamic like this would allow Shard to reach his full potential in the Force, as well as aid his companions. He had mused to himself that he possessed a sort of primal, instinctive form of Battle Meditation, but on an extremely limited scale. He'd work on that skill properly when he attained knighthood.

Shard was also a consummate duelist, utilizing Form II: Makashi almost exclusively. In fact, this specialization was the reason he'd sought out tuition in Soresu in the first place, incorporating the blaster deflection and defensive parries in order to preserve his defenses. If something in the mission went wrong and they ended up encountering the Sith, Shard would be adequately prepared to engage other lightsaber wielders. He didn't want the other Jedi to have to babysit him on this mission, he could take care of himself and contribute to the team dynamic. When asked if he had anything to say before they began, he shook his head. He would prefer to know the details of the plan, and let the Jedi Master do the talking.

Like all of the relatively peculiar species Dr. Senshino had heard of or met in person, the Given fascinated her, as too did their homeworld of Yag'Dhul. It was the scientific curiosity drilled into all Nemirel children since thier earliest years of childhood, not unlike that of Given children. Where her own species specialized in the medical fields, so to did the Given in the mathematical fields. Due to this similarity alone Hira already had a professional respect for the Given man standing before the four of them, three Jedi and Hira herself. Having opted to leave Azrae her medical-assassin droid aboard the Corusca to care for any patients that may need medical care while she was on this mission. No reason for the Chief of Medical to leave just nurses and medics on board when Azrae was just as useful as Hira herself.

It struck Hira after a few seconds of listening to the Given speak, this was the first time she had been assigned to work alongside Jedi. Her people had always had a long history of respect for Jedi, and Hira herself had even had the opportunity to join the Order when she was young but opted to seek a life as a doctor instead. The memory of the Jedi healer that had cared for her sister over a century ago coming back to her as if it had only been mere minutes ago.

The thought faded as she continued to listen to the Given man who had introduced himself as Pi as he continued to speak yet again. "Telepathic communication is so much more efficient. One would think a species as advanced as this would have developed the trait naturally, such as the Nemirel did." Hira thought to herself slightly annoyed that such an efficient species spent so much time explaining everything in such detail only to end up explaining so little about the mission ahead of them.

She took a moment to think over the three Jedi standing near her. A Master, a Knight, and a pawadan if she remembered the titles correctly. The Order had certainly put the effort into this mission, but Hira hoped that these Jedi would in fact live up to the hype typically associated with them. As far as Hira was considered however, the Given approved of the team and their word was good enough for her. One way or another she was determined to make sure the mission succeeded, but her main priority was to make sure everyone remained unharmed in the process.

When Pi asked them if anyone had anything to add to the conversation, Hira waited as the Jedi she thought was named Raleigh spoke up, talking about something called a shatterpoint. Once the man was done speaking she spoke up. "Forgive me for not understanding that much of the Force Master Jedi, nor what a shatter point is, but I think we should discuss what the plan is before we actually begin to do anything. No reason jump in the water to test it if we can simply put in a single toe as it were." This was the problem with Jedi, they spoke of these abstract ideas and philosophies, making everything so much more complicated than it had to be, which reminded the Nemirel of her own species' religious group, the Shiyui. Peace and balance was all good and should be encouraged but you can't just will it to pass by sitting in temples. Medicine was much clearer in her opinion, and helping others had such a more direct result than meditation. Granted such an activity did seem to make people wiser, not that such wisdom could be put to use if all you did was sit in a temple all day.

Hira stood staring at the Jedi and Pi hoping one of them would at least be willing to go over some sort of plan before they all acted. Winging it was fine and all, but these Jedi seemed to be rather young in her mind and she would be shocked if anyone of them were even a fourth her age. The 143 year old Nemirel stood wearing her personal armor, her two blaster pistols holstered on either side of her waist and her sword over her back. Holding her helmet to her side, she waited for one of these children to explain it all in a little more detail. She had been briefed on the mission to rescuing the captives while they are on transport from the Imperial base to the star destroyer in orbit, but as to her understand no former plan had yet to be created.

Arkantos held himself with his arms crossed, listening as the Givin gave his speech. He eyed the rest of the bone-faced species as they crowded around him. They were many in numbers, and they were all calculating. Arkantos had gotten the chance to speak with the Givin known as Pi beforehand, and if the Jedi Master had to be honest: he was worried. The Givin liked to talk so much they rarely actually got to breaking things down. Then again, their brains simply operated and functioned in a different way than most common sentient beings. He had faith in their deductions, but it was more out of necessity than true belief.

As the others finished their comments, the Jedi Master cleared his throat and nodded as the Rebel member of their group spoke up. "Right. The plan is relatively simple. The Sith have created an outpost here in the capital city, the Insurgents have assured us that their Body Calculus is being held there for transport to Yag-Prime. Yag-Prime is the space station above the planet, and it's become the Sith's headquarters on the planet. If the Body Calculus reaches the station, our mission is a failure. So the only logical plan is to rescue the Body Calculus before it even leaves the planet. That then leads..." the human male turning his head over to the Givin leader who nodded as he extended his palm out to reveal the layout of the Imperial facility. "to us attacking the Empire's outpost. Pi and his group want to show the Empire that they're willing to fight for their freedom - each and every Givin here has pledged their life to seeing the Body Calculus leaders freed. Their knowledge and expertise would greatly benefit any group that would hope to fight the Empire. Pi's assured us that he has called for reinforcements, but we'll be making the initial attack. Raleigh and myself will make our way to the outpost and scout it first, try to give you updated Intel. Shard and Hira will lead the Insurgents to attacking the base. The panic will give us a split-second to infiltrate and take the transport. Given the short window of opportunity and high risk, Raleigh and I have a better chance at seeing it completed. The rest of you are tasked with causing as much damage to their operations here as possible. Their communications array is top priority - taking that out would greatly damage the Empire's co-ordination planet-side but it's protected by the bulk of the Imperium's outpost so it'll be a task in-within itself. Still, if you two could pull it off, it'd be a great boon to all the Givin resistance." the Jedi Master finished explaining.

"Our accuracy is unmatched." the Givin added with a mischievous grin, standing next to the Jedi Master. "You have six minutes to move out." another Givin added - "As you can see, we've accounted for everything. No need to worry Master Jedis, and Miss Senshino. If we work together, we can leave today with our heads held high and a victory under our belts." the Givin added. The Jedi Master simply nodded along, turning to the Jedi Knight Raleigh. "You're ready I hope? The Givin have supplied us with some speeders - the rest of you will be using delivery trucks as initial transports. Pi's reinforcements will arrive in armored vehicles for extraction. Hopefully with the Body Calculus' Imperial transport under ourcontrol, we can have some aerial support to fan out and allow easier retreat." the Jedi added.

There was a bunch of hopes and possibilities, but it was all they had to ride on for now unfortunately. It was still early in the day, but by the time the moons were in the sky they would hopefully be on a transport off world and into safer harbors. The Empire would no doubt be on alert, but it would be the Insurgent's job to make sure the Imperials couldn't sleep for days in fear of another attack. Today - the good guys would fight back.

Raleigh nodded to Arkantos, ready to take the fight to the empire and free the Body Calculus from the sith as the group's most powerful combatants. Knowing Shard would be fine if he implemented Soresu as instructed and not get cocky, he knew his training would serve him well as it a situation like this that his class trained him to respond. If Shard remembered his Soresu roots and kept his senses sharp, he would be able to predict all blaster fire coming at him. Making sure Raleigh had everything he needed like his smoke, flash grenades and and thermal detonators as well as his force saber and lightsaber, Raleigh knew that he had all the tools to pull this off and battle any opponent he and Arkantos would face.

"I am ready. I wander if there will be sith along the ride considering how high profile the Calculus are, This will sure be interesting and worth wile if we pull it off" Raleigh commented, eager to get this over wile still remaining focused on the job at hand, his training would surely help him surpass any sith enemy with enough elbow grease and good use of the light saber. Riding a speeder in battle would also be fun, he never done mounted saber combat before and it would be a blast to start now.
