Screaming. Yelling. Chanting. Blood. Guts. Gore. Swords and blasters. That's what was going on in the pit; a massive slaughtering for anyone who dared to take on two rancors just to win a million creds. Anyone who could use the force was banned and forced to spectate only. The fighters had to be normal sentients. Of course, it wasn't like the guards would be able to stop a force adept from coming in and taking the beasts on themselves. They were stupid, and mind tricks could work on them easily. That's what happened when a Trandoshan owned a fighting arena like the Pit; stupid people get hired by the stupid boss.

For Lyndis, it was like being thrown back into slavery. She had just escaped control of a slimy slug and traveled to Coruscant in hopes of a better life. What did she get? Bounty Hunters seeking revenge at the death of their former employer. At first, they were just going to kill her then and there, but they decided it would be more fun to watch her try to outrun two hulking behemoths who's stomachs could cause earthquakes that could level cities just from growling. They were living trash compactors on legs.

She looked around, trying to see what sort of weapon she could use to fight off the rancors, but found nothing. Nothing but bones and meat from the countless humans and Twi'lek who met an untimely demise in the pit. She continued to search, making sure the rancors didn't notice her until she saw something glimmer in the light on the opposite side of the arena. It looked metallic, and to her, that meant weapon. Something that would keep her from dying just a little bit longer. After all, what girl wanted to become monster food after just getting their freedom for the first time?

She was about to dash for the weapon until she realized that both the rancors stood in her way. What made matters worse was that they finally saw her pink hair stand out from the red and white around her. She screamed and ran to the side as they charged at her. It would take a miracle to escape from them. She continued to run and run along the wall until she heard them stop. They had begun fighting each other, probably over who would get first bite on her pink skin. She took advantage of the opportunity and ran to the shiny object, finding that was a lightsaber still intact! She wondered what were the chances before igniting the glowing red blade. Her only problem was that she had no clue how to use it. She would just as soon cut her own hands off before doing any damage to the rancors.

She panicked as they settled their eyes on her once again, slowly walking to her as if mesmerized by something. She held the saber in front of her, hoping to the gods that another miracle would happen. She would gladly take the power to warp away no matter the cost. As long as it meant her living. She could feel her heart pound harder as the got closer. Her breath quickened. Oh please oh please oh please someone save me! I don't want to die! And I don't know how to use the blasted laser stick either! Of all the weapons to remain in tact! She thought to herself.

Fang walked the lower streets of Coruscant, his hood up, and his lightsabers hidden from view. Fang was not there on a paticular mission, he just sometimes wandered teh streets, there was always someone that needed help. Fang turned down a flight of stairs into a building, he could hear crowds cheering. he silently moved past some gaurds to a spectators box. he looked down into the pit. he saw several rancors, and.... a girl. Fang was disgusted, the fact that people watched this and put it on, made him sick. The girl below likely didnt deserve this and was forced into it. She could probably use a hand. Fang turned around and began to make his way to the staircase that would lead to the entrances at the bottom of the pit. to gaurds stood in his way. Fang waved his hand across his face.
You shall let me, and any I bring with me pass, and never remember we were here. Fang said in a flat voice. The gaurds repeated dutifully and let them pass. For all their brute strength, they had no will to back it up. Fang made his way down the stairs silently, like a ghost, he was not noticed. eventually, he reached the bottom level, he approached a door on the right wall, it was a door that lead into the pit he knew. waving his hand infront of him again, he caused the door, to open. He was roughly 20 feet away from the girl. he saw her pull a lightsaber from the rubble. she obviously had no idea what to do with it. as the girl turned around with the lightsaber, he made eyecontact with her, and waved her over to him, waited a moment and then stepped out of view, still holding the door open with the force.

She had not a moment to lose as the door on the wall of the arena opened. Someone obviously heard her prayers. She kept her attention to the rancors as she stepped towards the door. They moved so that they still faced her, but didn't make a single step to charge at her. It was as if they were captivated by the lightsaber. That was it! The display of artistic beauty captivated them, and stopped them from charging and tearing her limb for limb. She kept the saber ignited as she slowly made her way to the door, the rancors following but keeping the same distance. It was as if they were worshiping it.

When she made it to the door, she quickly stepped in and shut the saber off. She leaned against the wall, panting heavily as she clipped the lightsaber on her hip. She didn't care if she had no clue how to operate it, she was going to keep just in case she got in a tussle and needed a weapon. She turned her attention to the person who had just rescued her as the door slammed shut. Groggily, she stood back up and approached him.

"Thank you *pant* so much," she said, holding out a hand. She couldn't see a face under the hood, but respected the privacy. If she wanted to remain hidden, she would've dressed the same way. Unfortunately, a bright blue and orange flightsuit didn't exactly scream secrecy. If anything, she stuck out like a sore thumb. "I'm Lyndis," she said.

As the girl ran into the room Fang let the door shut. as she entered she deactivated the lightsaber, probably a smart move, to be honest Fang was surprised she hadnt hurt herself running with it. He watched as she put the lightsaber on her belt. He gave her a moment to catch her breath.

"Thank you *pant* so much, Im Lyndis" She said extending a hand. Fang produced his one non crotosis weave combat knife and put it in her hand as he took it accepting her introduction.
Fang he said in reply I think you will fight better with this. he said as he dropped his hand away, leaving the knife in hers. He was curious as to the original owner of the lightsaber, but would not push for it until they got out of the pit. Fang turned his head towards the stairs, somewhat revealing the crecent shaped scar on his cheek.
We should get moving. he said, and began to walk towards and up the stairs, believing that the Lyndis would be following him, unless she wanted to stay and get put back in the pit, which he very much doubted.

"Yeah, thanks," she said with a sigh of relief. She didn't have a shieth for the knife, but was able to tuck it away under the medpack baglett strapped to her thigh. She would be able fight a whole lot better with the knife rather than the lightsaber. However, she still kept the thing dangling on her hip. She wasn't stupid; she knew what faction the red blades were aligned with. If she did have any force power, she would rather be with the honest ones than the Jedi. For all she knew, the Jedi were jerks with carbon rods stuck up their asses. She hadn't met a decent one yet.

"You got me out of a lot of trouble," she said as she looked through the spectator window, following closely up the stairs. She watched as the rancor fed on a new poor victim that was thrown in. They tore the poor Twi'lek girl in half, munching away as they anticipated their next meal. The sight was gruesome. She cringed at the thought of what would've happened if she was the one ripped to shreds. "I have to ask, though, why save me? I mean, I'm very grateful, but everyone else was just watching. Yet you... You came in and got me out of there. That was very kind of you," she said. She wished she could see Fang's face under the hood.

Fang just nodded in reply to the thanks. Fang heard shouting above as they acended the stairs, it would be better if they stayed out of sight, Fang paused on one of the landings for a moment, and then turned down the hall, until they reached a door, Fang stepped through, they were lower than when Fang had initially entered the pit, but they were out of the building.

"you got me out of alot of trouble, I have to ask, though, why save me? I mean, I'm very grateful, but everyone else was just watching. Yet you... You came in and got me out of there. That was very kind of you," she said as they exited the building. Fang stopped, he could feel some sort of struggle in the girl, though he was not sure what it was. Because I am not everyone else. I would not watch someone needlessly be killed. Fang said in response. he turned around to look at the girl and gauge her reaction.

He waited a moment for her response then held out his hand, Might I see that lightsaber? he asked.

Lyndis hesitated for a second, but then handed the lightsaber over to him. "Only if you promise to give it right back. I know it's weird, but I kinda want to keep it. I feel... Attached to it," she said. She was being honest. Even though it was a red saber and she was better trying to pick up a star destroyer with her bare hands, she felt like that particular lightsaber and her were supposed to be with each other. Even if she just had it for show. She fancied herself holding a lightsaber and using it for a moment in her mind's eye, then reminded herself that they weren't at the right place for that. Besides, she would need training and practice before getting to use it.

Her mind then reflected on his response to her question. He did it because he wasn't everyone else. Because he couldn't watch someone die for no reason like she was about to. What if he would react the same way everyone else did when they found out what she used to be? What if he reacted like... Like the Jedi? She didn't like being a former slave, and it was apparent the rest of the galaxy didn't either. They didn't settle with the idea of her getting her freedom after having been a slave for so long. It made her resentful, but she kept those emotions in. She figured it'd be best to keep her mouth shut about herself to others. She was relieved that they had a chance to breath though. She didn't have to worry about fighting for now.

"So what are you? You've got this whole cloak-and-dagger thing going on, but what are you affiliated with? People don't dress that way unless they're important," she said. She brushed a few loose strands of hair out of her face and tucked them behind her ear to get a better view of Fang.

. "Only if you promise to give it right back. I know it's weird, but I kinda want to keep it. I feel... Attached to it," Fang nodded in appreciation as she place the lightsaber in his hand, he found it curious that she wanted to keep it considering that she couldent use it and if found with it, depending on who found her with it, she could end up in some trouble. Fang tossed the lightsaber up in the air and caught it in his hand again, it was nicely balanced, he held it closer to his face but did not recognize the lightsaber, it did not belong to any sith he had fought in the past. he turned it on and the blade hissed to life. he took a step back and gave it a few swings with one hand, his other hand still resting at his side, he went through a double parry and counter pattern before turning it off again and handing it back to her, he knew that she would likely be able to tell that he had training but it did not matter to much to him. as he handed it back to her, he said Might I ask why you want to keep it? you realize that without training you are likely to cut 3 of your limbs off.

"So what are you? You've got this whole cloak-and-dagger thing going on, but what are you affiliated with? People don't dress that way unless they're important," she asked him.
I would disagree he said in regards to how he was dressed and left the comment at that. People on this level of the city generally arent fond of my affiliation. he said. He gathered that she would assume that he was either Jedi or Sith, especially considering how he handled the lightsaber not a minute before, he wanted to see what her reaction was in regards to force users.

Might I ask why you want to keep it? You realize that without training you are likely to cut three of your limbs off. He said as he twirled the saber around, appraising and testing it. She could tell by the way he handled the lightsaber that he had training. It meand one of two things; he was a force adept, or he was trained to use it by one. He handed the saber back to her. She took it and carefully clipped it back on her hip.

"I know I use it and need training so that I can use it, it's just... I dunno. It feels right to have one," she explained. She looked at him once more as he disagreed to her comment. When he explained himself, she knew what he meant. She could just tell. He was a Jedi. From the rumors and not from personal experience, Jedi help the helpless and defend the poor. They are supposed to be kindhearted and will save those who are wrongly attacked. Unfortunately for her, the one experience she had with that one Jedi killed her image for them.

"You're... You're a Jedi..." She said. There was a hint of disappointment in her voice. Disappointment and pain. The hope she once found in them was shattered, and it would be hard to restore that hope. She looked back into the arena. Could Fang fix the shattered hope? Or would he simply scatter the pieces? She had no choice but to travel with him and find out. After all, he saved her. It would've been rude for her to just up and leave.

"I know I use it and need training so that I can use it, it's just... I dunno. It feels right to have one," she said. Fang felt her presence again with the force, she was hard to read, but, Fang had a hunch that she was force sensitive, and usually, Fang's hunches were right.

"You're... You're a Jedi..." she said, the revelation coming upon her, Fang watched as her face turned to one of dissapointment and pain, and a faint ray of hope as she looked back to the arena. obviously her last experiance with Jedi was not a pleasant one. Fang frowned for a moment, saddened that a Jedi had so tarnished their fabled reputation in the girls eyes, but worse still, in doing so, must have crushed her. Fang, wished to know more.

Why do you dislike Jedi? Fang asked. a moment after, he took off his hood, if she was to be open with him, he would need to be open with her. not to see an idea, but a person, asking her the questions. he patiently waited for an answer.

Sarsezic stepped heavily through the streets. A six foot tall man cladded with Old Mandalorian Crusader gear was sure to stand out pretty damn well. Little interest marked his hidden expression as his presence made some avoid stepping out infront of the man. His armor tan and brown, a definite theme to desert planets, such as Tattooine. Though, out of place, and in it all at the same time, his main purpose for being in a dump of the districts, was simple. He caught word of the Pit. And that only sparked his interest. Was it just a slave dump...or was it a chance for him to stretch his muscles. Give him a little excitement...Sarsezic came to a hault as he rested his visor along two rather interesting characters leaving from the Pit. A hooded individual, and the rather pinkish woman. His HUD quickly analyzing the two, locating weaponry visible among the two characters.

Sarsezic wasn't truly sure what made him stop to begin with...two people leaving the pit unscathed? Mentally too, even? Or that he lost a chance at big credit...Once more, he stood out like a brick wall. The street cleared around him slightly, him standing erect as he never took his gaze off the two.

Lyndis all of the sudden felt as though she were being watched. She put a hand to her forehead, as if to rub away a headache, and then looked around through the crowd. At first, she saw no one. Her senses were tingling badly, though. She could feel it. Someone was there, keeping their yes focused on them. She elected to ignore them, though, since she didn't see anything out of the ordinary at first. She figured it was her imagination playing tricks on her.

She looked back at Fang, able to see his face truly now instead of just a black spot inside a hood. She had to admit, he was different than that slime of a Jedi she met before. He helped her, gave her a second weapon, is taking the time to find out why she doesn't like Jedi, and even trusted her enough to show his face to her. In a sense, she admired him slightly. "I don't like Jedi because... Well, maybe I should start with a bit about who I was," she started.

"I was once a slave on Tattooine. I'm sure you heard the news by this point; a slave went renegade, killed her Hutt owner, and took his ship after freeing the other slaves. That's me. Anyways, while I was a slave, I was beaten daily and nearly killed. I ran into a Jedi in the market one day and begged him to help me... Only to at least free me and I'd leave him alone. He slapped me and told me over and over how much better than me he was and how I had no right to ask him such things. He was the only Jedi I've ever seen, so I assumed all were like him," she explained.

When she finished, she felt slightly ashamed she put that image on the man who just helped save her. "I'm sorry," she said. "I thought all Jedi were the same." She looked back out to the pit. All of the sudden, her senses started tingling again. She sighed in frustration as she looked around, this time seeing someone staring at them, and not looking away. Her eyes widened as she grabbed Fang's hand and led him further into the crowd, away from whoever this new guy was. She didn't trust big, hulking men in thick suits of armor. To her, that screamed one thing; bounty hunter.

"Sorry to be so rough, but we've got an admirer," she said. How the hell was I able to sense him? I've never been able to do that so precise before... She thought to herself.

Sarsezic narrowed his eyes in rather interest, his HUD scanning the two for specific records, ID, bounties...afterall. He stopped for a reason if not for the Pit, the glory, the money. What's a little credits on the side going to hurt? Sarsezic soon rested his gaze on the woman whom began to guide the hooded figure from view. "A renegade slave, huh?" he thought to himself. "Might be worth a shiny new toy." he placed his hand along the back of his belt, withdrawing from its cartridge a fist sized tracking droid. Holding it up to his helmet, he let the drone's single pin-sized red eye analyze his HUD, the two seemingly linking information. The drone had a single purpose now. Tracking...

Droids weren't Sarsezic's usual method of chase. However, a place like this means. More loose ends. On the contrary, Sarsezic prefered the easy route in this type of involvement. True, he was armored and looked like a hard case, but he'd rather not risk a fire-fight with civilians around. Not to mention her companion seemed to be one of those neferious Light stick wielders. He may prove to be tricky to overcome. He knew this wouldn't work quite as easily...but. Whats a little fun if life or death isn't involved? He grinned from under his helmet. Releasing the drone as it hovered into the sky.

The hunt was on.

((OOC: Fang's lightsabers are still hidden, no one has seen them yet, the only one weating a lightsaber openly is Lyndis))

Fang's senses started going off, he knew he was being watched, he turned his head slightly and saw a man in mandilorian armor, looking towards them, Fang knew almost immediatly it was him. He turned back to Lyndis as she suddenly grabbed his hand
"Sorry to be so rough, but we've got an admirer," she said as she lead him further down the alley and into a crowd, as they turned out, Fang casually glanced over his shoulder to see the mandilorian still watching them as he reached into his back pocket, but they moved out of sight before Fang could see what it was.

With his open hand Fang pulled his hood up again.
He isnt following us, I suspect our admirer has friends Fang said quietly, Fang breifly left Lyndis for a moment to step over to a run down shop and buy a cloak, it wasnt the nicest, but it would serve their purposes. After buying it he quickly walked back over to Lyndis and gave her the cloak to put on.
so we dont stand out as much. Fang said as he handed her the hooded cloak and waited for her to put it on. Fang wanted to continue their conversation from before but did not think it would be safe to do so.

We should leave the undercity. Fang stated. Fang did not like not knowing what he was going up against. not at all.

Sarsezic chuckled lowly to himself. Placing his hand along his wrist launcher, he looked up at a few of the low raised building levels of the undercity. The entire place was a tier upon tier machine jungle afterall. And the undercity was just that slimehole, perfect for a hunt. A small display cam made its appearance on his HUDs keeping him another eye in this mechanical jungle. Lifting his hand, he fired out his grappling hook, letting the durasteel cord pull him up to a building top above. As he neared the top, the wrist launcher snapped the end of the hook, burning a new hook to the tip of the wire. Cracking his knuckles, he made his way swiftly through the small upper level overlaying the streets below. "Come out, come out. Little birds.." he whispered to himself.

Sarsezic gripped an overlaying pillar, pressing his wrist into it as a blade jutted out, he lept from the upper level, sliding down the pillar into an alleyway. The sound of his droids GPS buzzed in his helmet, indicating his closing in on the droid. "Come on...find them.." the drone scanned the streets below, scanning each hooded figure. Finding some trace of appearances, similarities, a scent...This was what Sarsezic specialized in. What his past forged him into. A hunter, a weapon. A tool who felt pleasure in this chase of cat and mouse...like the damn jedi and sith....Sith...he shook his head of the thought as he walked from the alleyway into a crowded street of shops, looking left and right. His drone buzzed as it scanned hooded figures amongst the crowd. This way... Sarsezic turned his head.

"I agree," lyndis said as she put on the cloak and pulled the hood over her head. She hid the lightsaber carefully under the cloak. She started walking to through the streets, blending in with the crowd. She searched her mind over and over for a place they could hide. Her ship would be too obvious, he would be expecting them there. Her senses began tingling as they were walking. He was close to detecting them.

As they walked, an idea hit her. It would be the last place the hunter would think the look. Besides, if they went there, she could find the Jedi who shattered her hope so long ago, and give him a few good punches as payback... Since she was such a dog.

"hey, wanna show me the temple?" she asked Fang, hoping he would take the hint. She prayed he would take the hint.

Fang began to sense the presence again, he looked over to Lyndis, he could tell by looking at her that she sensed it too. Fang was now positive that she was force sensitive. "hey, wanna show me the temple?" she suggested. Fang had considered it, as the Temple was a safe haven for any who needed it, as well as obviously for Jedi. The problem was that Fang had walked here, and it had been a very long walk, infact, they would likely be ambushed while walking there. I would, but we need a mode of transportation, else it will be a very long walk he said in reply, hoping that he got his message across while mildly suggesting that they take the ship she claimed to have.

It was a response she was hoping she wouldn't hear, but he was right. They would need to take her ship. The things that were capable of happening as they took the walk, especially with as long as he claimed it was, were endless. She nodded and did a quick sweep of their surroundings. Obviously, the hunter hadn't seen them. That was good. Not good enough for her, though. She stepped in front of him to lead him to where her ship was docked, assuming that he followed.

Follow me. And I'd suggest using one of those 'shroud' techniques that you Jedi use to hide yourselves from persuers and making yourselves undetectable to the naked eye. Just in case he were to see us. Remember to walk casually. I've spent the past month evading these hunters, so I know what I'm doing, she said... Or so she thought. In reality, her mouth hadn't moved. Her voice hadn't sounded. She didn't speak. Instead, she sent a telepathic thought to him, what she thought was her talking to him. It felt so real to her that she hadn't noticed what she was doing.

She led him to the entrance to the free docks that freighters use when dropping of stocks for the local restaurants in the upper levels. She walked through the doorway and made her way to the front desk, making her face visible for only a second so that the man recognized who she was. "Still in dock seven. No one's tried to claim it. Will you be checking out?" He asked. She simply nodded as she made her way down the curved hall. She still assumed Fang was following.

I've spent the past month evading these hunters, so I know what I'm doing, said her voice in his head, Fang almost stopped dead in his tracks, Telepathy was rarely an inborn gift, and while it was easy to learn, it still usually had to be taught. He doubted that she even realized that she was doing it, seeing as she thus far had made no moves taht suggested taht she knew she was force sensitive, unfortunatly, Fang had never bother to learn the art of Force stealth, though he wished he had frequently. instead he casually followed her, not arousing any suspicion as he did, while Fang did not learn how to make himself hidden with the force, he knew how to do it well enough without the force. When they arrived at the free docks, the operator seemed to know Lyndis, obviously she was aquainted with the man in some form or another, Fang kept close to her as they moved down the halls to where her ship was kept. He could not help but to be curious about what the ship looked like....

Sarsezic stepped quickly through the crowd. Reaching behind him once more, he withdrew another scout drone. Like the last, he let the small pin-sized red eye scan his HUD as he continued to walk. He followed the buzzing of his already deployed drone. Watching each and every movement that the deployed drone had made. Shaking his focus, he returned his new found attention to the drone in his hand. "Maybe a little surprise..." Sarsezic thought. Turning the droid around, he placed a small device to the back of the drone before deploying it into the air.

Sarsezic shifted his gaze back to his HUD, the buzzing was now more prominent, the drone catching sight of a rather familiar figure. "A docking bay, hm?" He brought his gaze to the air. Launching another grappling hook upwards, it pulled him towards the upper tiers. Landing with a heavy thud, he started quickly towards his next destination, and he was nearing it quickly. He wasn't going to let a bounty get by him so idly, it doesn't make good reputation. Making his way towards the docking bay. He placed his right hand along the wall, the lower half of his launcher sparked as a stream of flames jettisoned from his wrist launcher, burning through the rather thin metal of the wall. Using his other hand, he gripped the loosening sheet of metal, tearing it off the wall. "Now...what kind of ship do you pilot, hm?..." he chuckled, as he revealed a large series of wiring from behind the metal walling. An area that was used for maintenance...also a great place for splicing into a mainframe...Sarsezic pulled out a small datapad, pressing it against the wiring. The screen lit up as it began to splice into the mainframe. "I'm getting to know you already girl..." he jokingly said to himself.

"Lets see how this place thinks of thieves." Sarsezic began to type along the datapad. "Just a little altering here and there..." he smirked. Not too far behind his silent delight, the sound of the alarms began to stir within the docking facility.
