She nodded and looked back down, looking at his hand over her lightsaber. She could tell he was there to help her and would give her the best direction versus a complete stranger. She gripped her lightsaber, confident in her decision. She wanted to see how strong she was. She had nothing else to do, and she would just be on the run for the rest of her life unless she found purpose and a way to protect herself. If she had this gift, she would learn how to use it. But there was a pressing question she needed answered first. It demanded her immediate attention before they arrived at the temple.

"Understood," she said. "I have one thing I need to know before I do anything; I want to know how strong my connection is. How much raw power is within me that I've got to refine. I want to know how far I'm physically capable of taking this," she said. "I guess that's where I'll start."

 

[Fang.]

Fang smiled at her response and nodded his head, closing his eyes he connected himself to the living force around him, but most of all, he reached out and touched the woman infront of him with the force, and after a long moment, he opened his eyes.

The Force is strong within you Lyndis, quite strong, but as with so many, the only way we will ever know your maximum potential, is to reach it. He answered with a smile.

Unfortunatly though, I do not think you are quite ready for this, Fang said grasping his hand around the lightsaber. Besides, you would be quite suspicous if you entered the temple with a lightsaber on your hip, especially with one that is red in colour. After you have trained, I will give it back to you, or you may choose to create your own lightsaber when you are ready. He said kindly, he did not make any motion to pull the lightsaber away from her however, if she made the insistence to keep it, he would allow her to hold onto it, but would advise her to remain on the ship when they arrived at the temple.

"Alright," she said. She took a long pause and then held it out to him. "I'll let you hold on to it. But when I'm ready, I'll want it back. When I learn how, I'll change the color. I guess the next step is getting to the temple, now," she said, sitting back down in the pilot's seat. She watched as the temple finally formed its sillouette in the distance. Now was the moment of truth; whether the temple would accept her or not. If anything, it was still a good place to remain in secret until their pursuer left the planet.

"Here it comes; the moment of truth," she said, exhaling deeply. She couldn't deny the emotions of excitement and nervousness circulating in her head. This was the first step on a much greater journey than she anticipated.

Fang gave a nod of thanks and a sigh of relief as she handed the lightsaber over to him I promise. he said as he clipped it to his belt beside the lightsaber on his right hip. after she moved the pilots seat Fang moved to stand behind her and put his hand on her shoulder to comfort her as the sillouette temple came into view in the distance, he could feel her anxiety, but was not sure what to say.

After a couple minutes Fang moved to the co-pilots seat and contacted the temple hanger control. This is Knight Fang requesting premission to Land in Hanger 2, transmitting codes now. Fang entered in and transmited the landing codes, he had requested Hanger clearance because after the damage teh ship had taken previously, he figured it could do with some repairs. After a moment a voice came over the com. Knight Fang, this is Temple control, clear to land, Hanger 2.
Confirmed, Knight Fang, Landing, Hanger 2, Out. Fang clicked off the comm and looked over to Lyndis.

She sighed and readied herself. This was it. She would see soon how her life events would unfold and where her destiny would take her. "It's time," she simply said. It was the most apt description of that moment; the moment her life to a completely new turn. She closed her eyes as the ship landed and then opened them, ready for a new start.
