Hov stood in the hanger deck waiting for the other prospect she had been assigned to acompany. Despite only being among the knights again for a month she had already garnered a great detail of respect. They said if she pulled this one off she would advance among the ranks. Yay was all she could think at the prospect of more responsibilities to the order.

"Where is she?" Hov asked no one in particular.

 

[Veritas et Lux]

Vera had finished feeding her tuskcat, Aldous before heading out of the dormitory room and down the hallway. Today was another mission, and after the last one, she didn't know if she was all that ready for it. It had been a year now, training with the force and the other knights. Knight herself, Mitya's tutor, would accompany them on the mission today- which was good. Last time that she didn't come, Vera nearly became kibbles and bits for a lightsaber.
As she entered the hangar bay, Vera noticed someone that she had never particularly seen before. Another prospect, obviously- the one that she was assigned to work with.
As she approached her, Vera saluted. "Prospect Vera Demakis... You?"

 

[Keinushi]

"Hovwi," Hov replied, not changing her stance at all. Sh leaned against the ship they were to take on the mission. "So your the one they assigned eh? You sure you can handle this?"

 

[Syn]

Knight met the two in the hanger and looked at them as she spoke. "Vera, Hovwi. It is good your both here and ready. I will be observing you two together but will be on the ship. You two will engage Dargo and preform your duties. Are there any questions?"

 

[Veritas et Lux]

Vera smiled in competent egotism. Could she handle this? Whatever...
"I used to be the brigadier for the Imperial guard, I was one of the original one to flee the empire. I've got this."
Knight came forth from what seemed out of nowhere to confront them.
"No ma'am... Guns locked and ready to go."

 

[Keinushi]

"I have a question." Hov raised her hand. "You sure I need to drag this dead weight along with me on this mission?"

 

[Syn]

Knight looked at Hov and spoke raising an eyebrow. "Hovwi, play nice Vera is talented and perhaps together two of you will cool each other. Your both doing enough to become knights officially no more prospects. That means the cause of returning the Empire to its former glory will be more pressing. So work together and bring back Dargo."

 

[Keinushi]

Hov rolled her eyes but stood up and ignoring Vera and walked onto the ship. "I'll be in the cockpit. Meet me there when your ready to go."

 

[Syn]

Knight looked at Hov go as she turned to Vera and offered a smile. "See fun. Come on Vera you have spent plenty of time training and now I want to see if I was any good at teaching."

 

[Veritas et Lux]

She just stood there, kind of hurt but at the same time pretty submissive of the insult. This girl was a prospect, Vera was a brigadier turned prospect, and she could out her on the battlefield any day. She supposed that playing nice for now would have to do, at least for the mission sake.
"Whatever, let's go.", she scoffed and cocked her rifle before heading onto the ship.

Hov monitored the cams on her datapad and closed the landing ram the moment the other imperial knights had boreded. She had already started the take off proceedures and in 2 minutes they were in the air headed towards space. Coordinates and autopilot already set up so all they had to do was sit back and wait for the exit from hyperspace.

 

[Syn]

"Ah good then." Knight blew out a breathe as she got into the ship and they headed off for Ryloth. The ship jumped to hyperspace and Knight sat at a terminal as she spoke. "Now I will be here to provide support if needed just stick to your training and everything should go good."

 

[Keinushi]

"No worries Knight." Hov waved a hand in dismissal. "I'll have this mission wrapped up before you can say nerf pellets."

 

[Veritas et Lux]

Vera was quiet, she was incredibly awkward anyways, however she couldn't help but utter the comment. "I'm going to laugh when I have to save you.", she said, making her face look somewhat like this, :CStern

The ship traveled through hyperspace towards Ryloth


[MEANWHILE ON THE PLANET RYLOTH A SINISTER FORCE IS MOVING. LURED BY THE PROMISES OF CREDITS THESE BOUNTY HUNTERS ARE LAYING IN WAIT]


A few hours later the ship touched down as Knight got into her station and spoke. "OKay you two it is game time."

 

[Keinushi]

Hov nodded and left the ship, not gazing at the older prospect but giving a slight nod to the younger Knight. "Be back in a couple days."

As she got to the landing ramp she shouted, "You coming?"

When Hov received no answer she continued on alone. Hitting up the nearest tavern, she asked the barkeep if he had heard of any strange twi-lek cults being started up in the area.

 

[Syn]

The Bartender looked at Hov as he spoke with a grin. "Cults no girly we not be into that. There is the preacher man who come by but he went out into the desert to search for what he called heathens... The Shutta."

 

[Keinushi]

"The Shutta." Hov raised an eyebrow. "Care to share what that would be?"

 

[Syn]

"Pardon my language just an insult. can you believe the human called us heathen? His people are the ones killing each other over belief."

 

[Keinushi]

"Ah," Hov nodded. "Well religious types are like that. He leave a comlink frequency he could be reached at?"
