Hov looked around the desert, "but sir, we're in the middle of a desert. And my parents have already waited a long time to see you, even an hour sooner would make them so much happier."
Hov returned to her speeder and set the controls on it to follow them, then returned to the priest and began to travel with him. "How long do you think it will take us to reach the city, father."
"About two hours if we keep pace and not run across any heathens. This planet is filled with them all the sort trying to collect the bounty on Imperial Knights heads. It is too bad that they have all lost their heads the poor poor souls who ended up dead. Too many lives too many lives."
Dargo walked the way and stayed merry as he went with the cross saber behind him. The girl was curious to say the least and didn't speak much just nodded when he spoke. "Ah come now lass wasn't this fun?"
"To be honest father, get a glass of water as we entered the city." Hov admitted, lowering the landing ramp and loading the speeder. She went to the cockpit and set the autopilot to take them home, then returned to the ramp to help the father onboard as the ship warmed up. "Let me get you a comfortable seat in my rec room."
Dargo looked at the ramp and he held the cross and shifted it taking the bottom off and clipping it to his belt. "Well lets be off then no sense keeping them waiting." He entered the ship and moved to a seat as Knight looked over and smirked. "So it is you aye little Ayumi come to bring me home? Your prospect is a fine lass but needs more training in her lies. Were it not for reading her mind I might I have stabbed her from behind."
Knight looked at Dargo who was smirking and she stood up shaking her head and went to Hov. With a look she patted her shoulder and spoke. "You did good, you should be proud. I know I am."
"Ulg, thanks." Hov said, holding her head in her hand. "I can't believe he knew the whole time and was just toying with me. Arg. With we didn't need him, I'd! Whatever..."
Knihgt looked at her. "It is okay, you didn't think he survived all this time in the open by being a fool did you? I'll get you a drink on the way back We'll go to a nice bar."
Knight looked at Hov as she spoke and giggled. "Well we could do that also I mean we are with a preacher after all so we won't be taken advantage of. Alright line em up and lets celebrate."
