Thierry Darkrose
Senator of Coruscant
beardshortfullkd3.jpg

Thierry Darkrose is the name. Yeah, you heard it correctly. Thierry. Sounds fancy, right? You can blame my mother for that one. She was from the continent, and she insisted on giving me a name from her homeland. I guess I can't really complain, it makes for an interesting conversation when you first meet me, and it's fairly unique in the circles I mix, especially within my professional life. In case you hadn't noticed by the self appreciating rhetoric, though, I'm a politician. In fact, I'm not just a politician, I'm the representative of the most important planet in the galaxy: the capital of the Republic, Coruscant. Not that you'd think it, but Coruscanti Senators rarely get much press. Their position is more to look good for the cameras than make any radical declarations or important statements. You don't believe me? Think of all of the famous senators and chancellors and governors and whoever else you've heard of in galactic politics. Now try and find one Coruscanti in that list. I bet you can't. Well, lucky for you, I've come along now.

Stephen Colbert is the Senator of Alderaan, so this actually makes a lot more sense.

I think someone would have shot him already, half of the leadership has been taken out back already.

No one shoots Stephen Colbert. He has Tek Jansen protecting him.

Think about it, though. The Senator of Coruscant is Edward Norton, the Senator of Alderaan is Stephen Colbert, and the Supreme Commander is Henry VIII. Why hasn't the war been lost?

Maybe because they're just the appearances of the people in those positions? :CHappy:

Late comment, yeah, but does Coruscant even have a senator?

Yes. It's a planet in the Republic, why shouldn't it?

Next time a PM will suffice rather than bumping this thread.

Ftr it's pronounced nothing like thyroid, more "tee-air-ee" lol
Just because it isn't pronounced like thyroid doesn't mean it does and will continue to remind me of thyroid.
