I've always thought of myself as really afraid of heights until I did a two day roofing job during my Alaska missions trip which wasn't bad at all except for all the ladders. Really long bridges over water, though, terrify me, and I tense up and everything.

I am actually highly disconcerted by policemen (Alfred Hitchcock was also afraid of policemen, on an interesting note). I know that I haven't done anything wrong, but having law enforcement around makes me paranoid that I might be doing something that merits correction. And I'm all like :CShock and then :CCry2

That and policemen are mean... and their authority cannot be questioned should they actually attempt to enforce it... and they're mean... and they're virtually above the law... and did I mention that they are mean? I try to avoid stereotyping people, but I struggle not doing that towards policemen, for whatever reason. I guess I'm just biased.

Strangely enough, my best friend's dad is an ex-cop. I really like him, though. :D

I'm terrified of deep, black, open water. Like if I'm floating in water and it's just me gazing into the depths of Cthulu's Abyss, I book it out of the water because most of the ocean has been unexplored and ever since I've heard 'The Bloop' thing dark, cold deep water scares the piss out of me.

It's funny because I'm a free diver and a licensed open water scuba diver, and I'm fine in deep water (some free dives I go fifty or more feet down and I'm fine), but if it's not clear, and if it's black I freak out. I've gone night diving, and I'm fine for some reason? I don't know...it's weird.

Also, leeches scare me. If I see a goddamn ****ing leech swimming towards me I am out of the water faster than Mulluns going into a store reading 'Free Pizza'.

I am completely and utterly horrified by the sound of waterfalls and anything that sounds like a waterfalls. That came from a slight accident as a child. Another thing is that I have a phobia of having my picture taken. As a result, I'm rarely seen in any pictures unless I'm forced to be in it.

being abandoned, drowning......I am deathly deathly deathly afraid of drowning......like I mean....just being dunked in a pool makes me freak out and try and kill everything near me........The worst time was when i was white water rafting and the raft flipped, trapped me under it for like....a minute.....when I got pulled out of the water I was having a sever panic attack and my eyes were rolled up into the back of my head......

Hm, I'm scared of swimming in water dirty enough to prevent me from seeing my feet. Always worried a sharks in the water, even if I'm in a lake.

I also have an irrational fear of openings that reveal things within, like the navel of an orange or a rock that fell in wet cement that then dried, leaving a hole in it.

Also, scared aliens are looking in my window at night if I leave the blinds open....

Me too. I KNOW there aren't sharks, but it still scares me. And that new movie coming out doesn't help that fear either!
