I hate zombies, and their popularity is really only tied to times of recession ( where as vampires boom in times of growth and over abundance) there is an entire study done on the rotations of horror genre styles and how they spike with certain situations in our world. neat stuff, and explains the pattern Ive seen in my life but never took the step to tie them to anything solid.

Though I argue that Rakgoul are not zombie like - more werewolf like to me given they are still sentient, can still identify their own, defend bodies of their fallen, and ancestors and when focused can make things. then you have the Nekghouls which are intelligent ( but still short tempered ) force users

though coruscants lower levels are crawling with Cthon and possibly vongspawn

so having them going unchecked would be bad for those unable to take care of themselves

I agree that Rakghoul are more akin to werewolves. They morph into monsters. Can keep sentience, though generally more primal and feral. They can be changed back. The only likeness to zombies (at least new-era zombies) is the plague/infection aspect.

which then still, bite/scratch etc still works with more than a few fantasy/myth monsters

and yes there are one or two individuals like DR Lokin who can switch between human and a rakghoul form

True, but it's more in the way that you mutate (generally in a more supernatural/magical sense) rather than a virus/plague that new-era zombies have.

Take a look at US tax dollars hard at work.
From link said:
as our own director, Dr. Ali Khan, notes, "if you are generally well equipped to deal with a zombie apocalypse you will be prepared for a hurricane, pandemic, earthquake, or terrorist attack." So please log on, get a kit, make a plan, and be prepared!
This actually is very true if you think about it. Although you are not as likely to need weapons for self-defense when it's not a zombie apocalypse, but point aside.

The thing to remember about zombies too is that they're created (in modern zombie lore) as epidemics. So by doing a zombie drill, while hokey on its face, they're also practicing their response for a massive disease outbreak.

Last Christmas a woman Maced a group of people to get closer to a discounted item at a Walmart; that's my rebuttal.

Okay back to asking questions...

...How will the Sith Empire be treating its citizens post-time skip? Those they've conquered, etc. How does this all work in the big scheme of things? What's the plan after Coruscant?

How exactly will the Rebels be able to keep order in their planets? Since they are just cells, it makes me curious as to how they will keep order.

The Rebellion will not start with any planets of their own. We can't make any claims on how they will be able to control any planets, assuming that the Rebel leaders even want to maintain planetary control.

Lavi does have a point. Do the Rebel leaders want to have control over planets?

They'll eventually take control, but starting a rebellion with a few starter planets fully controlled would spell disaster for them. Empire would just swoop in and bomb them to kingdom come.

Maybe, I don't think we know how stuff plays out in the future, its up for the rp to decide.

So, what government exists within the non-Imperium planets if they aren't conquered by the Imperium? Does every planet have an individual government, or are there some left in total anarchy from the collapse of the Alliance?

I would guess both are going to happen.

Planets have always been ruled by their own governments. The Alliance is (was) like a federal government: it determines overall direction of the member states, but local issues are addressed by the planets' own rulers.

I presume the current timeline is going to be archived. If so, is this going to effect our thread subscriptions?

Thread subscriptions are operated by the thread's numeric ID, not location, so your subs won't be affected.

10/10 for a techy answer, when a simple yes/no could have sufficed.

Ruv you
