Varyn had put good distance between him and the academy when it finally happened. He was sitting in a restaurant eating dinner when the bomb detonated. He could see it through the window, a flash of fire and smoke billowing into the sky.

Everyone nearby gasped and looked out at the horizon, some standing and others trying to go see what had happened. For Varyn, he simply sat there, mouth slightly open, and watched. It was a surreal feeling. He knew what was coming, but it somehow felt... strange. It wasn't the academy he had been at, but it could have been.

He couldn't say that he felt very sad about the faculty that had been killed. It was why he had come here, but the lines... they had become more blurred than he had expected. Here, alone, he didn't have to put on any face.

And so he lingered for a moment before paying and heading back. He'd need to look as shocked as everyone else, but... that might not be as hard to fake as he had expected.

Cedric planted his fourth explosive when Vash commed everyone to clear out. Ghost informed them of the presence of Inquisitors approaching, the news causing him to stifle a groan and weirdly suppress a grin at the same time. He wanted the surprise for the Sith to be the explosives, not himself. After Vash's warning, no further motivation was needed for the soldier as he finally placed the last explosive.

Delta team would pass by each other once they left the building but no indication of recognition would pass between them. They were all highly trained professionals, nothing would be needed to be said in order to complete the task.

Cedric would take his own alley, splitting off from the rest with the precaution that if he was captured, at least it would only be him. As he walked and took off pieces of his armor, Vash would count down in his ear, finally reaching one before an explosion ripped through the city. It was powerful enough to make the ground beneath his feet shake as he would fall into a wall for a moment before straightening himself. Walking on, he would spin on his heel so he was doing so backward, able to stare up at the massive column of smoke that pierced through the air.

They did it. No more were they holding a seat to eat their turn of punches before rotating out. They were finally taking action against those that wrongly felt like they deserved the galaxy compared to the rest. Happiness, hope, anxiety, and fear for the future all culminated together inside Cedric's stomach but at least it was something. Before he turned away, he threw up both his middle fingers toward the burning excuse of a building with one final chuckle, "And sleep well."

As he navigated through the city, Akira's map and info about their rendezvous came in. A smile appeared across Cedric's face as he easily blended in with the crowd and commed back, "You know with that voice, I'll listen to whatever you tell me to do." He was in quite a happy mood after the wreckage they caused.

Cedric would eventually arrive at the warehouse and truck, spotting both Vandal and Maverick already there. They each offered each other fistbumps before the back of the truck would be opened. When they opened the barrel to find what was inside, Cedric would just sigh before he dropped his head against the rim of one barrel, ungratefully muttering out through the comms, "I take back all that I said." Maverick would just laugh as she slapped him on the back before getting in a barrel herself.

"Taking shot..." Ghost's timing was perfect. As the the school went up in flames, Yulia squeezed the trigger when her sights aligned with the back of the neck of the red Inquisitor. The shock and awe of her comrade's successful bombardment proved to be too much of a distraction for the Inquisitor as the red blaster bolt struck true, ending the Imperial's life. Yulia kept her sights on the body, waiting for it to go limp. Once it fell to the ground, she packed her PER-11 and left the area.

The patrol below her had been frantically trying to get everyone on the move, allowing for Ghost to slip away unnoticed. She made her way down the empty streets, avoiding rushing patrols until she arrived at her own EVAC point. Yulia Isanov had killed an Inquisitor today and her comrades blew up a Sith Academy. There was sure to be one celebration after today.
