She paused, hands on her hips as she looked at the chaos of the coat closet, fairly certain she had an umbrella in there, somewhere; she just needed to remember if she had it recently or a long while back. The walls and floor shook from the thunder outside, the storm seemed to intensify. It was not uncommon for such storms here, but this one seemed particularly bad and it didn't help she was still a bit spooked from the movie earlier; even as Emryc had continued to watch it, listening to the storyline made her imagination go on hyperdrive. Chills ran down her arms as she thought about what if she moved a bag and out popped the creature.

Tiamat heard Emryc coming, though more like the squeak of metal and glass as he had hit his head on the light. It flickered in protest to being bothered and Tiamat carefully maneuvered in such a way that more stuff wouldn't pour from the closet. Emryc asked what she wanted to do as she pushed her stuff back into the closet with her foot and holding it there with the Force as she set on top a more delicate box before she closed the door. Tiamat turned around to face him, holding up in one hand, the umbrella, and in her other hand, a second controller.

"I found a classic, Super Smash Friends, but its not as fun just playing by myself." she explained, her gaze flickered to meet his eyes before she glanced away, feeling her cheeks warm. Another crack of thunder seemed to shake the apartment again and Tiamat frowned, "At least a round before this storm knocks out the power grids."

Emryc was still grumpily rubbing his forehead, narrowly avoiding another light fixture on his way over to Tiamat.

“Why are your ceilings so low?” He asked moodily as he eyed towards her bedroom doorway which was below forehead level. Emryc looked back at Tiamat, quirking a brow at her blushing face. Why the hell was she blushing? He almost considered asking but thought better of it. Silvers flicked down to the controller in her hand as his eyes widened.

“Is that…”

He hadn’t seen that console in years. In fact, it was probably only available through bidding now. Emryc lit up as he snatched the controller from her hand.

“Fuck yeah we’re playing,” He declared almost cheerfully as he turned around to begin walking towards the living room again, “I’m going to pound the shit out of you-ARGH!” He had been looking at the controller and ran into the same light fixture again, now beginning to sport a lump on his head from the double hits. To his credit, he kept from ripping out the infernal fixtures, doing a few breathing exercises on his entire angry walk back through the hallway.

He was speechless as he gazed upon the controller and Tiamat watched him closely, almost inquiring if he was feeling okay. Though, it would become very apparent he was more than okay as he snatched the controller from her and hollered out that they were going to play. She felt her cheeks grow hotter and her whole face turned a new shade of red as she watched him act like a child who got exactly what he wanted on Life Day morning. He turned around, informing exactly how he was going brutalize her in the game when hit his head on the light again.

The illuminator flickered and Tiamat seemed to find her ability to move from her moment of shock realizing he being awfully cocky about winning. Tia shook her head and walked past Emryc as she hurried back to the holo to start the game, "How are you gonna do any shit pounding if you can't even navigate a hallway!" she clapped back with a coy grin while grabbing her controller. Tia sat on the edge of the couch, knowing she would be standing eventually.

"You haven't seen a pounding until you've played against me." she said, eyes glued to the holo as she quickly picked her character, Sumas.

“This is bullshit,” Emryc declared when he lost a second time. He had played this game for years and even participated in tournaments before. And here was Tiamat clobbering him for the second time while playing a cute, pink and fluffy character.

The half Sephi was livid, his jaw tightening and his eyes narrowed. It wasn’t often that his face displayed so much emotion, and it was all there on the surface. His expression was the closest thing to a grumpy pout as it would ever get. Emryc’s eyes were fixed on the screen too much to take note of what his face was doing.

“Look! My shielding doesn’t even work! There’s a delay! This controller is fucked up, that’s why,” Emryc glared at the Holoscreen, “And why the hell are the buttons sticky?” He glanced down, “Are these old melted candy stains?” He shoved the controller in Tiamat's face, thoroughly disgusted.

Best of two out of three, Tiamat was on a roll, and Emryc, well, Tia thought he was going to go supernova on this game. She bit her lip, trying her best to hold back the smirk from his temper-tantrum. She wondered if he would even believe her if she explained how terrible she was at this game back when it was first released. Though, with how he was acting, she didn't think he would care too much because he clearly was not winning. She watched how her character was awarded its medal and there was confetti as it took 'highlights' from the fight, and the redhead very much enjoyed the finishing blow.

In the middle of her small victory dance that was as cheese as the 3-toned victory song on the game, Emryc pointed out how the shielding option didn't work, the game was glitchy and now the controller. She stopped in her dance as he shoved the controller in her face, complaining of possible candy stains. Her brow narrowed with mild annoyance as she set down her controller. Promptly taking his, pressing the buttons carefully; there was a sticky spot and closer inspection, it could have been old candy, but it shouldn't have interfered with his play too much.

Tiamat took a corner of her shirt and licked it, rubbing off the sticky from the controller with her spit, then tested it again. "Seems just fine to me..." she said handing the controller back, but paused, a coy grin returning, "I'll beat you with the sticky controller, best out of five?" she challenged him, handing him the other controller. As she waited for him to decide, she leaned over to open a small drawer on the coffee table to pull out a piece of candy and popped it into her mouth.

Emryc watched with utter disgust as Tiamat used her spit to clean up the controller. He snatched the other one, vowing never to touch the sticky controller even by accident. The half Sephi next watched her reach into a drawer and pop a candy into her mouth. In the blink of an eye, he reached a hand up to grasp Tiamat’s face and smoosh her cheeks to make her spit out the candy. Emryc reached for the wrapper to read it.

“Ten years, Tiamat, ten years,” He dangled the wrapper in her face. Emryc growled as he opened the drawer and began to take out the old candies. He grabbed a bag nearby and began to stuff the candies in it, “I can’t stand this,” He stated grumpily as he began to stash more random wrappers and garbage away. It had taken every fiber of his being to keep his neat freak nature contained in Tiamat’s apartment, but the ancient candy broke the bantha’s back.

The game was put on pause for the next full hour as Emryc thoroughly cleaned out and organized the random garbage. Tiamat was casually moved away with the Force if she attempted to interject. It was only after he washed his hands and the place was more to his liking that he sat back down and picked up the other controller, visibly more relaxed.

Emryc started the game without another word, doing significantly better now without a sticky controller.

She didn't get far into eating her piece of candy when Emryc seemed to absolutely blow his fuse. He turned her face to him while pinching her cheeks until she spat out the candy in a slimy glob of red dye, sugar and spit in her defiance, slightly confused as to why he was suddenly so concerned about what she was eating. He held up the wrapper declaring it was over ten years old and Tiamat scoffed, "Its only a year old, and its not bad..." she watched as he started cleaning out her drawer and the redhead cried out in protest, "Hey!" However, he seemed so entirely focused on cleaning house, frustration boiled until her cheeks were red.

Any time she protested or tried to intervene, he stopped her, sliding her literally out of the way with the Force. Didn't he understand? She looked at him as though he was committing a crime as he tossed out things that were not of his liking and emptied out the 14 glasses of water she had stashed away on shelves and tables on his way to the kitchen. What if something happened and she suddenly needed food or needed that water and couldn't get it right away? This was important and she felt a moment of confusing defeat. She didn't think anything was messy; cluttered, perhaps disorganized as she was working to get settled on Dromund Kaas. Then again, she had not much time for anything but her work, cleaning was last on her list of to-dos.

Tiamat's annoyance turned into bewildered by the hour long cleaning; he started organizing the closet when he asked if she had a broom and she quickly joined next to him, ensuring he threw out nothing that was invaluable to her. There were a few small boxes she quickly snatched at placed in her bedroom and away from his madness. She followed him, curious to see what he considered acceptable, which she started to wonder if he would burn down the entire place if given the chance because nothing seemed acceptable to him. He washed her dishes and put them away, a cabinet was now suddenly filled with drinking glasses but her cabinets were a bit more bare as well as her fridge.

She wasn't sure if she liked this, she didn't want him to continue to clean, but it lasted for a whole hour before he decided it was suitable. However, on the other hand, there was something charming about a guy doing domestic duties, especially when he was wearing pieces of his armor. Tiamat was conflicted and when he was done, she sat back down with him on the couch. The game resumed, but her enthusiasm dwindled, handing the next rounds to him as she seemed more distracted as though she were really looking at her place for the first time. "Can you come over more?" she asked, her pout disappearing and shy smile returned.

Emryc felt much better when the place was cleaned to his liking. Few things got under the man’s skin like mess and clutter. He loved that comforting smell of cleaning products and sprays. The half Sephi focused back on the game, entirely missing that Tiamat was detached at this point. He grinned as he claimed another victory.

“That’s about what I expected,” He declared. Emryc was distracted from his gloating when Tiamat spoke. It was then that he realized she was somewhere far away. He caught that almost shy look, an eyebrow raising slightly.

“So you can make me clean your sty each time?”
He asked dryly, completely missing her signals as usual.

Her brow narrowed and she gave him a small pout when he suggested she was making him clean her place. "I didn't make you do anything." she corrected, "You decided on that all on your own." she reminded him. At no point did she invite him to clean her place, in fact, she probably would refused anyone cleaning her home. Emryc only got away with it because he clearly was on a mission and her attempts to stop him were futile. Tiamat then gave a shrug, "Besides, it was sexy watching you clean."

She scooted to the edge of the couch, letting the match restart again, now seeming a bit more invested in the game as they played another round with her fluffy pink character. Her jaw tightened and her teeth gritted over the close calls but pulling a victory despite using the candy controller. A grin spread across her face as she flowed through her embarrassing mini victory dance.

"I'll keep it cleaner if you came over more," or if anyone visited, she really didn't have many visitors, "I like a little bit of mess, doesn't feel sterile, like a hospital." she frowned in her thoughts as to what it reminded her of; the redhead glanced to Emryc to gauge his reaction, expecting him to look at her with utter disgust. She hit the start on the game, taking them through another round.

Emryc stared at the screen while Tiamat spoke, cycling through the list of characters. He knew his habits were borderline absurd to most, but it was the result of growing up in a military environment where he was trained to keep everything immaculate. The half Sephi landed on a little jawa type character that often dealt lethal damage.

“I look sexy doing most things,” He stated flatly as he selected his character to begin the match. Despite his efforts and close calls, he ended up losing that turn. Emryc’s jaw tightened and he bristled in silent rage before moving onto the next round. He couldn’t put into words just how angry that little pink blob made him.

Emryc perked up as he finally won the next round, though it faltered at the mention of a hospital. The half Sephi stared blankly at the screen, his character suddenly standing perfectly still while Tiamat’s repeatedly walloped it. His thoughts were clearly elsewhere, vividly reminded of the smells and sounds. He didn’t have his sight during that period. After losing that round on purpose, Emryc set the controller away.

“All right, I’ll come over,” He said as he turned to face her on the couch. Emryc leaned his back against an armrest, bringing his knees on the couch in the space between them. The half Sephi’s lips tugged towards a half grin, “Did all your friends dump you that you want me to come over?”

There wasn't disgust, just the blank look she was entirely too familiar with as she continued with the round, but noted how he didn't engage in the game. Her character quickly wiped his jawa across the field and then out of the ring with no resistance. Something for certain was bothering him as it wasn't his typical blank look at all and as he set down his controller; she switched off the game while trying to think of what she said to cause him to drift like that. Her lips pursed in her thoughts, some ideas came and gone but he seemed to return to reality quickly as he turned to relax against the armrest, agreeing to come over. Instantly there was a smile from the redhead as she mindlessly reached for a lock of her hair to twirl, but suddenly became aware and slowly combed her fingers through her hair instead, trying to cover up the habit that he had seen too many times.

Of course, he followed up with a quip about her social life that brought her to a pause, her mind trying to run with it, but instead she let out a long sigh, "As the worst, I deserve only the worst of company." she stated, her tone suddenly becoming firm and her features hardened, but she wasn't too good at making serious jokes and it fell apart quickly. The smile returned as she shifted to rest her head on his lap, "It looks like the rain is letting up." she glanced at the window before settling back down, letting the quiet in the room grow, the tapping of rain outside slowing.

"Emryc," she paused, her blue eyes narrowed as she focused on something beyond the bookshelf across from her gaze. She decided against whatever thought she had and continued, "I really did miss you. I was angry and fearful as to what happened to you." Tiamat explained, "But in exchange you got your eyesight back and I'm grateful you can see the passion in my work, the red in my hair, the way my eyes light up for you," a coy grin then grew as she paused, "And you'll never miss another one of my fashion choices."

Emryc said nothing as she said her usual self deprecating commentary. She knew well he found that kind of talk to be nonsense and his disdain came from his complete silence on the topic. The half Sephi stared blankly at her, frosty gaze just the same as it was the very first day they had met all those years ago.

She looked away and continued speaking, confessing a whole bunch of things he hadn’t expected. Emryc sat there in silence, his gaze never leaving her as she spoke. If there was any reaction to anything she said, it certainly wasn’t betrayed by his face then. For a long moment there was nothing but the splatter of the rain against the window, the drops heavier but slowing down gradually.

The half Sephi looked out towards the window, watching an idle streak of water cascade down the glass.

“I expected you to angrily show up a few times,” He said quietly after a long beat. For a moment it appeared as if he had more to say, but he actively abstained. Emryc glanced over at her again, an eyebrow raising, “And you never delivered on that nurse outfit,” He said with a mock grumble before turning his attention to his datapad. Emryc pulled up a game of Qwent.

Tia closed her eyes, taking in the silence and every now and then did Emryc surprise her with a comment and this time was one of those times. The corner of her lip tugged in a smile as he shared his anticipation for her to show up wherever he was laying low in her angry state. It was fairly accurate, there was a tendency for her to show up more angry than happy or relieved, and even when she thought she did, it had only masked a deeper frustration. Her smile faded as she fell into her reflection, a slight unease as though she became more aware of some aspect of herself.

There was an urge to fidget, to get up and walk away, but she stayed put even if the discomfort was hard to mask. Luckily, he continued onto something more distracting. Her eyes opened and eyebrows rose in a sort of realization; the redhead glanced up, seeing the bottom of the datapad as he started another one of his games. Her face scrunched into a pout unable to figure out if he was being serious. She got up and left him be with his Qwent while she disappeared into one of the rooms, still a bit cautious about turning on the light before entering, one couldn't be too careful with the dark.

Tiamat was unaware of how quickly she could do a wardrobe change until now without even snagging the stockings. It would be moments later when she returned, fully expecting to see Emryc where she had left him. "You never asked about it, you know." she said standing in white nurse's uniform. It was snug as it tightly wrapped around curves typically hidden with her frumpier outfits; it buttoned up the front, but several were left unbuttoned to reveal a peek of her bosom, hints of lacy red undergarments could be seen underneath. She even managed to find white stockings and heels to make it complete. Her red hair was let down, quickly fixed to give it some more volume and wave as she brushed it over one shoulder. "I had to put it away so I wouldn't think about it." she explained.

Emryc was getting progressively more furious at his contender on Qwent. His opponent used a special ability to lock all of his, forcing him to get more creative than usual. By the time Tiamat returned to the room, the half Sephi’s face was inches away from the datapad, eyebrows slightly furrowed to express his deep displeasure.

When Tiamat spoke, silver gaze flicked up at her and then back down to the datapad. After a moment, the gaze flicked right back up again, effectively doing a double take. His hold on the datapad weakened, the entire thing slipping from his grasp and falling to his lap. His eyes were visibly wider and his jaw slack, a sight Tiamat no doubt would have found exceptionally comical and validating.

Silver gaze lowered from her fiery hair and down to take in the very form fitting nurse outfit, pausing at the teasing bits of lingerie that he could see. Lingerie was his weakness whether on men or women. As were stockings. The game continued on in his datapad, but he forgot about it entirely, gaze fixated solely on the woman in front of him.

“That’s….not fair…” He barely managed to get out, blinking a few times. He didn’t have anything smooth or suave to say like normal. Instead he was caught like a bantha in the headlights.

She watched as he first didn't notice her return, her eyebrows rose slightly until the datapad slipped from his grasp as the sudden realization she entered the room in a much sensual manner hit the half-Sephi hard. The look on his face brought a bashful glow to her cheeks and she was unable to stop the giggle that made her reach for a thin lock of her hair. Blue eyes were light up with curious interest as it was rare she took him off-guard as she did now. Though it wasn't to say what she felt currently drew her own curiosity as she tried to define it. She wrapped the lock of hair twice around her forefinger, letting Emryc's eyes trickle down her body before she released it and slowly turned in a circle to allow him to see it all.

It seemed to have taken his breath away as he had struggled to manage the few words to say it wasn't fair. Tiamat gave him a mock pout as she approached around the couch, heels slowly tapping on the floor, in no hurry to meet where he sat. "Do you want me to take it off?" she asked coyly, "To make it fair..." she continued almost not recognizing her own tone as she spoke. It was certainly more flirty than she expected. Tia reached the opposite corner of the couch, running her fingers along the back as she moved closer to Emryc.

"I might need help taking it off." Tiamat gave a small nod as she gently lifted herself to sit on the back of the couch, just out of his reach and fidgeted with one of the buttons.

The Qwent game on his datapad was long forgotten. At some point “YOU LOSE” flashed a few times on the screen, but Emryc’s gaze was elsewhere. He didn’t say anything in response, his eyes drinking in every detail of the costume and the way it hugged her curves. It had been well over a year since he had seen her like this.

The half Sephi made no immediate move towards her, his legs still on the couch, though he slid them back towards himself to sit cross legged. The way Tiamat sat allowed the skirt to hike up just enough to give an almost teasing glimpse at what lay underneath. Emryc’s face adjusted slowly back to his normal default as he assumed control from that initial shock of seeing her show up like this. One of his arms rested casually against the spine of the couch as he gazed at her, watching the way she fidgeted with the buttons.

He wanted nothing more than to reach over, desire betrayed in his normally frosty gaze. It was subtle, but it was pronounced enough for Tiamat to pick up after knowing him so long. She knew exactly when she had Emryc’s full and undivided attention.

“You know we have nothing but drama afterwards every single time we do this,” His baritone voice rumbled quietly, the rest of his expression difficult to decode. He kept his back pressed against his end of the couch, making no efforts to close the distance. His gaze went up to meet hers. They had been here before, and it brought back vivid memories of strife afterwards.

“You detest me with every fiber of your being every time I walk out the door afterwards," His lips tugged towards a half grin, "And you know I will walk out again."

He was that burning fire that she always reached for. And she was venturing close yet again, fingers just barely brushing the heat that was always there. Always unwavering. Always biting.

He seemed to recover...mostly, but she could tell he was still drawn to the spell she had created. Her fingers traced the edges of the buttons down her dress as she waited for him to speak, a coy grin remained as his brain seemed to managed to reset and he was able to find his words easier. A silence settled long enough for her to skip her fingers down the buttons and then back up before he spoke, reminding the drama that occurs afterward. Her eyebrows rose as she glanced over, her gaze meeting his own as she studied his silver eyes. He continued, speaking of her detest for him, especially when he leaves.

Tiamat had a long time to think about many things when he was absent, some of it was things she missed, like that half grin he got as he showed her now. It brought a larger smile to Tiamat and she opened her mouth to respond, but stopped herself, glancing at the book shelf in front of her and then back to him. Perhaps there was a time that she did detest him, but there was something deeper and she paused in telling him, uncertain if he would care to know, but he was correct, he only knew her as well as she allowed him to know her.

"We have drama regardless." she smirked, glancing back to him, "I don't detest you." she started, her smile leaving and her focus went back to the buttons, "I detest that I cannot allow myself to walk beside you when you leave." her fingers started to fidget faster until she couldn't help but to stand again. She felt suddenly very vulnerable, exposed, feelings of discomfort washing over her as she stood against her own waves that she knew she could control. Slowly she slid back down, heels tapped onto the floor, "However, I know even when you walk out, or when I walk out, we always find each other again." she grinned, feeling her strength return as she reached for the flames again.

"Eventually, I have to take this off," Tia stood at the opposite end of the couch, "You can choose if you want, to help here, or in there..." she tilted her head to the bedroom, "Back there..." she softly spoke and gestured to the kitchen, "Or not at all." she met his eyes again, her red hair falling around her face as she released a button, revealing more underneath in her siren's lure.

Emryc stayed on the couch as Tiamat rose from it. He kept his gaze on hers as she spoke, though it was easy to see her full form from his angle. The stockings clung to her shapely legs, the skirt short and ending around the thighs, just barely pulled over the curve of her rear. The nurse uniform tightly clung to her waist. And she certainly didn’t help matters by listing off different surfaces and rooms.

The half Sephi looked away briefly, chuckling quietly to himself as he ran his fingers through his hair.

“God damn it.”

Emryc looked back at Tiamat, casually tossing his datapad on the caf table. He rose from his seat to his full height, walking towards her. He kept his gaze locked with hers as he reached down and casually lifted her off the ground. He wrapped her legs around his hips, grasping them just beneath the thighs.

Emryc kept walking till her back was pushed against the wall behind her, his body pressing against hers. The half Sephi grinned at her.

“Since you like to put walls to the test,” He said as one of his hands slid further up along a thigh and beneath the skirt, “How about right here?”

Another girly giggle escaped her lips before she could catch herself, finger tips tapping against her bottom lip as she watched Emryc run his fingers through his hair. She was delighted and adored his response as he rose from his seat; it was a rare glimpse that she would forever hold. Emryc towered over her as he approached, feeling him lift her up, she made no hesitation in wrapping her legs around his waist, her thighs squeezing him tightly while she hooked her arms over his shoulders. Fingers intertwined in his hair, feeling how soft it remained even under a helmet for as long as it was.

Emryc pressed her against an adjacent wall and it was hard to pause an excited whimper as his hand reached further up her thigh. A grin grew wide across the redhead's lips as he suggested testing the walls, "These walls don't stand a chance."

Tiamat lost any sense of time when she finally let exhaustion wash through her body. No surface was sparred in their passion, the wall where they started would need repairs. However, there would also be the repair to one of the bookshelves, and the floor, well, it was going to take Tiamat some time in reorganizing the tomes and blueprints that were mindlessly shoved out of the way for the two of them to occupy the surface. Somewhere laid pieces of lingerie and the costume, but the redhead was not too concerned as her senses fell into a blissful calm.

Her arms strewn over head, her red hair fanned above her head where she laid, idly twirling a lock of her hair around her forefinger. The woman paused in her mindless glow to recall where she was laying, but the effort took away from the high she was enjoying even through the rugburn, bites and scratches. The warmth of the glow warmed her cheeks and filled her lips as she ticked off in her head what she enjoyed to bookmark it for next time. Any exertion to move any other parts of her body seemed futile in her effort.

Emryc hadn’t gotten up to leave just yet. The storm had slowed down by then to the gentle pitter patter of rain against the glass window. The half Sephi was lazing around on Tiamat’s bed after their last session on the floor, though it was far too small for the two of them. His legs extended beyond the bed and Tiamat had a leg strewn over his. It wasn’t Emryc’s nature to really cuddle, but he certainly felt lazy enough to lay there for a bit. His body was coated in sweat, his black hair matted to his face. This was the first time Tiamat had seen his body since the village, the half Sephi much broader in size with corded muscles throughout his entire body.

The Sith Lord stared up at the ceiling, pondering a shower before getting ready to leave. He cast a cursory glance at Tiamat, catching her twirling her hair. Emryc watched her for a moment before turning to bring his datapad to his hand. He idly scrolled through his Huttball stats.

“Why do you do that?” He asked quietly while he checked on his team, “That hair twirl thing.”
