If kreia thought that by grabbing her wrist would slow feifi down in the slightest, she was dead wrong, as she just pushed the saber guantlet that was being held further while she blocked with her other one, before delivering a nasty kick to the echanis shins.

Trodai stood in momentary shock as his mouth clamped shut and he found himself unable to speak. There was very little he could do, at least not yet. In time perhaps. It became clear, Cyutadakr had no interest and wasn't looking to give a second chance. He understood it would be very unlikely she would now ever accept him.

And so he went, so she may perhaps release his mouth. And yet beneath was a seething Rage, for having been yet again humiliated. Even when he hadn't looked for it yet the Force saw fit to punish him and he was growing tired of it. When would it end.

He moved on, eventually un-clamping, as he moved to the rest room and cleaned himself up properly, smashing a mirror in frustration once inside and after cleaning himself and the cut as much as could be accomplished, he stepped back out. Instead, watching the fight underway.

Feifi was fast, she'd give her that. It seemed the two of them would be evenly matched. The kick to her shins smarted and she was certain she would have a deep bruise against her pale skin. Instead of dancing away again, the Echanic hooked their legs together, keeping the Mando from pulling away. Disengaging her blade for a second, Kreia threw a hard forearm to Feifa's chest before igniting her blade again, aiming it towards Feifa's face.

feifi would use her speedy style of fighting to her advantage, leaning back to avoid the saber to her face as it narrowly misses, slicing off a thread of hair, favoring the trade, she would make two slices with her saber gauntlets in two different directions, a brutal pincer attack, if that wasn't enough, she would spin, using the fact that she had her legs locked, doing a backhand style strike with her second gauntlet while she was distracted with the other one, if she decided to disengage that side to block her new strike, feifi would move and slice the ground, throwing sparks in her face in order to perhaps blind her temporarily, before continuing her assault.

to the champions, it was a simple form, probably form I, determination form, given she was self teaching herself without a master.

Ayomi watched the dueling acolytes with piqued interest, particularly focusing on the Mandalorian's saber gauntlets. Well, maybe former Mandalorian after the Potionmaster had crushed her helmet. While her technique was raw, there was genuine skill in her strikes. The combination of determination and an apparent fondness for unique weapons reminded Ayomi of a young version of themselves; perhaps they'd have to talk to the girl, Feifi, when this was all over. The Tiefling wasn't much for the idea of teaching, but like it or not it was the job of champions to strengthen the Order by molding acolytes into full Sith. Better to make the decision themselves than to get stuck with someone insufferable.

The sparks crashing into her eyes did blind her and caused her to back up. Resourceful, she had to admit. The Mandalorian was more feisty than she realized to begin with. She needed to create some space, some distance while she got her sight back and planned the next move.

Kreia ran, uncaring that it was likely the last thing the Champions would be happy with, but she had a plan. Her goal was the gardens, avoiding Azar and their crowd with a wide berth. She wanted to get back to the academy, to use the layout to her advantage. Her first day here, she'd spent hours memorizing the floor plan so that she could find her way in the dark. Or blind in this case. She disengaged her saber as she ran, tearing off a piece of her cloak to tap at the burned skin around her eyes. She'd lead the Mandalorian into her own trap and she knew just where to go. [/abox6]

The echani girl ran.. that was enough, to run was to admit weakness.. to feifis eyes, she was yielding like a hut'uun.

feifi was no fool, impulsive and rash yes, but not a fool, to give chase would be to court death, as she would technically be abandoning the training field and purview of the champions, so she allowed the echani to flee the training yard tail in between her legs, she would likely face punishment for her apparent cowardness later, no need to rub salt in the wound..

she gently bowed to the champions, seeking approval, she was her father's daughter, and believed there were only two types of people in the galaxy, those who entertain, and those who observe, and feifi loved putting on a show, her usual happy demeanor and smile returned, even if she was now missing a tooth. she hoped she managed to impress them, even if her tactics were.. sloppy, simplistic. She kept her head bowed while she awaited their verdict on the matter.

Ayomi watched through disappointed eyes as the Echani girl turned and ran out of the courtyards and towards the gardens. Disengaging after being put in a disadvantageous position by the Mandalorian's smart use of sparks made sense, but turning one's back on an opponent was effectively admitting defeat regardless. Even through the Potionmaster's brutal punishment for her arrogance, the Mandalorian girl's raw rage and sheer force of will had prevailed. If the Tiefling's interest hadn't been piqued before, it most certainly was now.

"It would seem your opponent has fled. That makes you the winner, acolyte."

Ayomi declared, their tone matching their unamused expression. The gathered crowd began to disperse, leaving just Feifi with the gathered Champions. There was no need to encourage a continued fight; points had been made, and the stronger acolyte had risen above for now. After waiting for the other Champions to either say anything they wanted to or leave the area, the Tiefling would approach the girl with their red eyes locked onto the Mandalorian's green ones.

"Despite your earlier insolence, I find myself impressed with your... shall we say raw potential. Tell me, acolyte, has anyone formally taken you on as an apprentice yet?"

Feifi gently shakes her head.

"No champion, no one has.."

She dared not break eye contact with the champion as she answered.

Ayomi studied the girl for a moment, mulling over the thought in their head. Was this a good idea? It's not like they really had any experience with teaching or even really forming social bonds for that matter. But the girl's fire, her drive, it was too good to pass up.

"I offer you a choice then. If you so wish, I will train you as my apprentice and turn you into a fully realized Sith."

Ayomi offered, before gesturing towards the girl's gauntlets. "Perhaps you can even teach me a few things."

Feifi gently bows her head, accepting the offer, finnaly, her chance to power! Just you wait potion master.. soon it will be your teeth rolling on these grounds.. soon..

She of course didn't allow such desire to show right now, maintaining her Comley facade.

"If you will accept me, then it would be an honor."

Ayomi maintained their stoic facade as the girl accepted the offer, though a torrent of other thoughts assailed their mind. This was it; they were a teacher now, for better or for worse, just like the ruthless instructors at the old academy. It was an entirely new relationship to the Tiefling, yet one they hoped would propel both master and apprentice to greater heights. As much as they refrained from relying on others, having an ever-sharper tool to point at their problems was certainly a nice upgrade. Turning to leave the courtyard, Ayomi glanced over their shoulder and beckoned for Feifi to follow.

"Come then, apprentice. It would seem we have much to discuss. You may call me Master Jakarta."

Carrying the helmet in the palm of her hand, the make-shift pottery would soon be home to a plant native to Umbara. It would hopefully produce the beans she was interested in cultivating. Said beans could be used as a poison for Serene to test out. Furthermore it would be her first opportunity at exercising her green thumb.

The woman's gaze occasionally glanced towards the duel but it was being overseen by Ayomi until it ended. It was brief but effective. Each of the acolytes would be wise to take away something from this series of events.

Serene would go about tending to the beginnings of her own garden. The inverted mandalorian helmet was just a temporary place to hold the plant for now. There were a few species in the garden already fully grown which the Champion regarded closely and carefully. She was well aware the flora of Umbara and other planets were not as harmless and inactive as others.

Unless someone approached her, Serene would become consumed with her own interests. The hullaballoo made by the other Sith was tuned out easily by her focus. When she was done researching what she had come to examine she left and carried on to elsewhere in the academy.

Trodai observed for as long as the duel carried on, even if he still had a slight festering anger for how his mouth had been clamped without so much as a provocation. Having seen enough and the duel end, he decided it was time to head out and see what might happen next.

At the very least lessons had been learnt here. He stood off, making for the exit.
