I disagree with such a huge number of leftists nowadays that I'm unsure about the accuracy of the test, though modern ones tend to spit in the face of tradition liberalism.

Seems about right. A few of the questions forced answers I wouldn't normally give though. I suppose that's the drawback of such a simple format.

This is about where I usually am, as well. Slightly less libertarian and a bit more to the right, though. Maybe a square or two up and the right.

Surprising actually. Not sure I like some of the questions as they assume a lot behind a few of them. I feel it should be more central than it is on left to right, but hey.

For reference: I'm a young university student and have spent most of my adolescence in a country with strong socialist influence and progressive social values. From wiki: Uruguay is ranked first in Latin America in democracy, peace, lack of corruption, quality of living, e-government, and equally first in South America when it comes to press freedom, size of the middle class and prosperity.

The use of cannabis is completely legalized, it was the first country in the region to legalize same-sex marriage, abortion is legal in the first trimester, and Uruguay is the least religious country in South America [caveat: from my experience at least Brazil and Argentina are extremely religious, and I've heard the rest of SA is much the same, so Uruguay just might be comparatively secular]. While there are private universities, the public system is generally more well thought-of academically and is completely tuition free, and healthcare is free (and private healthcare is vastly cheaper than the USA). Since 2004, the "Broad Front" has been the governing party, a coalition of left-wing groups, among the most vocal the Socialist and Communist Parties, and the party leader is a socialist.

So my compass is very much expected tbh. All of my friends (to avoid saying "Everyone around me in general") would define themselves as socialists.
