Well, if Adara dies, the complaining concerning Adara will, hopefully, end. Hooray, a public hearing resulted in the loss to two Republic officials (Adara possibly dying and Djibril seceding, again).

She'll be out of action until after the time-skip though. I'm curious how the other characters are going to react to a shooter who shot her because she was blamed by the jedi.

Youu can try and make Jedi look bad all you want but we're standing behind the fact that Adara's to blame for a lot of things. And in the media thread, a lot of the blame was on administration overall, not Adara alone. So regardless of what anyone thinks, we're stickin' by what we said and have every reason to. : P

If we don't catch the assailant in a timely manner, blame could be leveled at a lot of different actors. While the assailant may have supposedly been told about it by the Jedi, there are others who could want her dead for some reason or another. A Hutt or Bogan assassin wouldn't be completely inconceivable. Or maybe professional rivals who disliked her. Or maybe even the Chancellor? You could definitely think of a lot of people who would either want her dead or would want others to think poorly of the Jedi.

Well, I left that open for you guys, and you guys posted that she got away. Plenty of people must have seen her, she'll be easily caught.

I'm not blaming anyone. I'm just reacting to something that happened. You can blame me, you can blame her, you can blame the moon.

I don't care. Adara is in no condition to care. I'm just curious how you'll react to that. Having a military official nearly killed on your front steps both looks bad, and is a fairly shocking event.

I'm not trying to insult or blame anyone. I'm just letting the story progress in a way I found interesting and unexpected. React to it how you will, I'm just continuing to try and stay IC and story focused.

Tbh, having Djibril and his planet leave the Republic would really suck hard for the Republic. If I was in Adena's place I would make sure to have Obro-skai (or whatever) stay in the Republic then I would later use it as an attacking point to strike Myrkr and have control over the Ysalmari and vornkrs which are two animals that are pretty useful when it comes to fighting Jedi.
