(I have 2 canon rules. 1) the films. 2) Timothy Zahn. All else is secondary, and since force healing in those is a slower, supplementary process, to do a fast heal like this would have consequences for healer and healee. I like to try and be realistic in these sorts of things. I'm not always realistic in others, I'll confess)
