{{Duels are dependent on all their participants. I've never involved myself in an RP lightsaber duel outside of training threads, so I can only offer some advice based on what I've read. If a post is well-written, detailed, and believable (based on the character's strength), then there's a greater chance of something ''happening'', so to speak. You can certainly 'control' another person's character, but you must use discretion and should try to do so in a way where you'll always give your opponent a chance to react.
Also, keep in mind that, while our characters are vastly different in IU skill (Padawan-Master) and you should take that into consideration, it is not impossible for a well-rounded and versed RP'er to defeat a Master with, say, a Padawan/Acolyte. It would be hard, but not impossible.
I hope that answers your question, somewhat :p}}
{{Do note that a lightsaber would never get stuck in a wall. It would just keep cutting through the material and eventually fall onto the floor/through the floor.}}
Chester flew back slightly, not expecting his Padawan to attack him with a Force push. While he was slightly stunned by the attack, he found his lightsaber missing from his grasp. Had Taizen taken it? There was a good possibility.
Once his vision had cleared, the Jedi Master discovered that this was indeed the case. He had been careless. However, instead of calling off the duel, Chester would fight unarmed. He allowed Taizen to move first; Chester wanted to see what his student would do with this advantage.
