Haven't stopped by in a while, so I thought it prudent to ask: What's up?

Obviously, of course, the cockpit wouldn't extend the full width of the ship (...or length. Not sure what that would be), moreso fitting into a little niche for it there on the front. We might also set the cockpit in the center, and have both wings be set up to have living space, three rooms on one side, turret, and engines, two rooms, small galley/dining room, small cargo space, turret, and engines on the other. And, of course, a refresher on either side, as well, at the end of the rooms and just before the turret/galley, depending on where you are.

Anyways, the idea I had for the appearance would be similar to a parked B-wing or G9 Rigger. I was thinking we might have a cockpit similar to that of a TIE fighters on one end, elongated and enlargened a bit so as to be made to comfortably fit more than one person, with the main body of the ship going off to one side, and a shorter "wing" on the other side ending in a space for a blaster turret. Sort of like a knife flying through space, with the cockpit fitting flush against the two wings. Obviously, the wings wouldn't have the ability to rotate around the cockpit, though there'd the one devoted entirely to a turret on the end, and then the other - where the main living and cargo space would be, mostly - would have another on its end, with the cockpit having a pair of concussion missile launchers and maybe a blaster cannon situated beneath as well.

Man, that looks like such a jumbled pile of random thoughts...Oh well, just trying to see what'll stick here, anyways.

When I was talking for the heavy fighter part, that was purely in weapons capabilities and possible speed, so your idea could work rather well, though...I'd prefer something maybe half that large or smaller. xP As for the being similar to the Fury-class Interceptor, that was mainly in terms of its role as a mobile base, rather than actually seeming very similar to it.

Though that's certainly an interesting idea as well, especially as a gunship or such made just for Imperials...

I have no pics at the moment, though Blue Nightmare mentioned he had a similar idea before, and that he had a picture. Hopefully he lets me see it. =P

But yeah. Kinda wanna go for a Star Yacht meets TIE fighter sorta deal. A smaller ship, holding no more than maybe four or five passengers at a time (for quarters, anyways, unless somebody wanted to share - then we might double), with some small cargo capacity (which would likely go towards carrying extra consumables for those who don't plan to be transporting particularly much cargo =P), a good speed and such, with the ability to choose between the "Home Away From Home" capabilities or the "Highly-Functional Large Space Fighter" capabilities.

I want you - who has a good amount of experience with the tech board - to help me create a ship similar to the Fury-class Imperial interceptor from TOR for Imperial (specifically Sith) use. I have yet to see anything similar in the Imperial tech listings, the closest thing being a shuttle; though who knows, I might've missed something.

I plan to talk to Rom soon to see if he doesn't mind - though at the same time, I'd like the help creating it if only so I can use it as a personal ship for one of my characters in the future, even if the big bad guy doesn't approve it for general Imperial listing.
