Matsu looked at Saia and spoke with a grin. "Well I could not wear them but the masters frown on that." With a laugh Matsu remained seated as she spoke more. "They are just what I wear, I wore them when I was little and trained in the snow." Slowly Matsu grinned. and just laid down in the grass under the tree and motioned for Saia to come over. they could both lay down next to each other and dry off as she spoke more. "Come here Saia, I promise I'll protect your modesty and not look." Playfully Matsu put a hand over her eyes as she patted the ground in the sunlight.

"I'm fine!" Saia grumbled at Matsu, who was the one who was guilty for getting her wet in the first place. She grabbed her hair and twisted it, trying to get the water out and struggling to deny the fact that it was probably going to take a few days to get back to it's typically beautiful form. That is probably what irritated her the most, so, instead of laying by Matsu, she chose to sit on the other side of Matsu, tucking the dry robe under her butt and cradling her legs against her chest. "I like snow, but I don't think I'm the type to enjoy it without any clothes on," she said, trying to carry the conversation Matsu had begun.

Matsu looked up and at Saia as she nodded. "Maybe being nearly naked isn't for everyone I'll admit. But you do get some advantages Saia. You learn how to focus on something else like lessons and movements."Matsu propped up a little as she blew some of her hair out of her face, if hers was like this then Saia's would be just as bad as she spoke. "Sorry about your hair, I know it will be very hard to get back to normal but if you'll feel better so will mine." With another grin Matsu rolled over and laid down on her stomach as she let the sun dance and warm up her back.

Saia, never one to be unprepared - save for the moments when she lost her lightsaber - pulled out the one thing any proper girl would carry: a brush. She grabbed her hair and with a frustrated look began to run it through her hair, struggling with the knots and annoyed at the split ends. She did not bother to notice Matsu's pale body, the wet body wraps that were more than likely revealing too much. Instead, she was on a crusade against bad hair, and she knew she had limited time

It took her several minutes, maybe more, until her hair was smooth and organized. Satisfied, she could see the jealous Matsu laying belly down and watching her from the corner of her eye. "Sit up, I'll brush your hair, too," she relented, never to be one to turn down someone in need, even over a matter as inconsequential as tamed hair.

Matsu st up and back close to Saia putting her back against her knees and she moved so her hair was in a nice place. "Thank you, I never carry a brush on my person." Slowly Matsu continued to sit as she looked forward and watched her clothing dry in the sun. With a grin Matsu felt her hair getting brushed and struggled with because it was more unruly being a little longer. "This is nice Saia, and please don't be mad. You looked like you needed to cool off after such a depressing topic." Slowly Matsu kept still as she listened to the sounds around them and smiled tilting her head so the hair was on one side as she rested her head on Saia's knee. "Saia what do you think of the others? The other padawans we train with. They seem so aggressive."

"I have creative ways of cooling off," she smiled, but this time it was a strange, almost sadistic grin as she grabbed a wad of Matsu's hair and combed through it roughly, making sure to pull through all the knots - and there were many - as hard as she could. Of course, she only wanted to intentionally inflict a little pain on Matsu to get her attention. "They do, I don't think they have enough patience," she said, yanking the brush through another knot, "they're going to need patience, otherwise they're just going to di--" she stopped herself, not finishing the word. She smiled, trying to change the topic before the idea of others being to reckless bothered her again. "You wouldn't happen to have another lightsaber, would you?"

Matsu didn't scream in pain she just made the face as Saia combed through her hair and she listened. Then she heard Saia change the subject and Matsu looked at her stuff. She had her lightsaber and a training saber only because the majority of padawans didn't have one yet. "I do, why do you ask?" With a look at Saia, Matsu smiled and looked into her eyes. They were the most striking thing and she had some intention in her eyes as Matsu pulled her lightsaber over and set it as low as a training saber. Then she pulled the training saber from her coat. Slowly it came across the ground as Matsu as she picked it up and spoke standing over Saia in the wrappings and she offered her hand for Saia. "I have a theory why you have that look Saia and the answer is yes but only if we have some stakes. A friendly wager what do you say?"

"Sure," she smiled, "what's your price?" Her question might have seemed wrong once she thought about it, she didn't mean to imply Matsu was a prostitute, but she was fairly sure Matsu would get it.

She tossed the lightsaber from one hand to the other and waited for Matsu's answer.

Matsu looked at Saia and grinned as she came close to her and stood on her tip toes to be perfectly eye level and whispered. "A kiss." Was all she said as Matsu grinned and backed away with her eyebrows up and slowly spun her saber in her hand. She didn't know how Saia would react but well she had to believe she would have fun cause winning wasn't important now. While the reward at the end might be worth it she could be patient she could wait until Saia came around. With another grin Matsu held her saber as she ran a thumb over the button and brushed her hair out of the way.

Kelly started getting irritated at the two girls there antics before were easy enough to ignore and drown out, but now she had to speak up. "Would you two like to get a room first or did you forget there was someone else still here. I know you guys could tell I was up here." She said a bit coldly. Mostly since the novel she was reading was getting to a good part and now she was drawn out of it.

"Uh," Saia stuttered. Kelly's own comment, curt by its own right, had shaken Saia out of a sort of fascination with Matsu, one she didn't know how to respond to. She looked down, noticing that she had dropped her... or Matsu's, lightsaber. She stared at it dumbfoundedly for a moment, before glancing up at Kelly, who had busied herself for most of the time with her head buried in a book. "You're pretty sure you're going to win," she said, looking back straight at Matsu, challenging her. "My only condition is that you owe me whatever I want!"

She planted her left foot in front of her, twisting her hips as she moved the right side of her body forward, planting her foot and adding momentum to the saber that suddenly ignited during the well executed shiak stab aimed straight for Matsu's left shoulder.

Matsu was dumbfounded as she heard Kelly and then she heard Saia's proposal and she smiled. Well at least the girl knew how to entice and Matsu agreed as Saia launched an attack. When she stabbed at Matsu her blade ignited in a midnight blue with a snap hiss and Matsu jumped up as in her head she chanted her little mantra and levitated up as Matsu looked down and then dropped in a falling leaf strike that made her spin and she struck for a Sai cha. She knew to stop just before and thankfully the blade was set like a regular training saber as Matsu thought about all of her training and looked at Saia with her face passive and her eyes intently staring at her.

She watched as Matsu performed a strange aerial maneuver, more of a distraction to Saia's determination to beat Matsu than anything else. Saia angled her saber and prepared to receive the hit, which would cause Matsu to need to recover from the inertia of the strike and give Saia the perfect opportunity to land a kick on her gut that would send Matsu backwards.

She wanted Matsu to know that Saia was serious about winning, her face had changed from its ordinary cheerful self to a strangely serene, focused and determined look.

Matsu looked at Saia and then she felt he jolt in her arm as she was kicked back and into the tree with a thump. Matsu fell to the ground and tilted her head to with a look at Saia Matsu crouched as she jumped and kicked off the tree and used her speed to augment her strike and add more power as she rushed forward and struck and moved her feet forward to come down into the soil for a chest bump to knock Saia off her feet.

Matsu once again built up her speed and launched towards Saia, slashing at her from above. She instinctively moved to block, and Matsu's feet dug into the ground and propelled her into Saia. The two lost balance, Saia deactivating her saber to better guide her fall and roll onto her back, knowing that Matsu was too close to effectively strike. She pushed Matsu off so that she could tumble to the side and rise again to assume a defensive posture, reactivating her saber and holding it before her, ready to parry.

The two girls were getting very physical, and a grin crossed Saia's face. "I'm going to beat you," she playfully taunted Matsu.

Matsu looked at Saia as the fell and when she landed rolled onto the side as she held her saber and heard Saia who was ready for her. With a grin Matsu spoke as she held the blade and spun it speaking a thought through the force. "Then it looks like I'll get to still have fun." With a look at Saia Matsu dug her feet in and rushed and jumped three feet away bring the saber around and into another falling leaf as she spun around and came down in a large overhead slash from the sky.

Saia had learned from before, and was expecting another aerial assault from Matsu. She crouched low, ducking from any attack, and tumbled out of Matsu's trajectory, aiming to launch herself just behind Matsu's form as she landed, with an intent to spring from her tumble and quickly lash out in a mou kei cut at Matsu's legs, hoping to bring Matsu down from her lofty acrobatics.

Matsu looked at Saia as she came down and then the blade. Saia was behind her but she could do one thing maybe as she came down. Quickly Matsu preformed a jung as she concentrated to stop in mid air. She spun but was still coming down with her saber out and close. She would hit Saia when Saia hit her.

Matsu's aerial agility was more than Saia had expected, as she quickly corrected her direction to compensate for Saia's assault. Regardless, Saia's strike had already been unleashed, and though there was still time to block, she wanted to win.

Matsu's feet landed, toes facing her, just as the blue training saber slashed over the blades of grass and slammed into her calf, the inertia causing the blade to stay for longer than Saia had intended. Matsu's blade came crashing down within a moment, propelled further by her own legs giving out under Saia's strike. The saber slammed into the bicep of her sword arm, burning through her robe and searing her skin with the power of it.

She let out a cry, dropping her saber and rolling over onto her right side, pressing the wound into the blades of grass and dirt, her fingers digging into the grass as she focused on herself, trying to push the pain from her arm out of her mind.

Matsu fel the buring on her thigh and dropped deactivating her saber as she looked up. She moved with a wince, she really hadn't been burned by a lightsaber before at least not on exposed skin. Slowly Matsu crawled as she came in the grass by Saia and spoke putting a hand to her leg. "Your good." Slowly Matsu sat up as she moved Saia and brought her up. She looked at the wound and held up Saia's arm as she spoke more looking at her eyes. Matsu's face had returned to normal. "You'll be okay.." With a look at Saia Matsu smiled kissing her arm on the burn. "I think this was a tie, we both win... How about that?"
