Yeah, okay; whatever.
Nice rebuttal.
Yeah, okay; whatever.
WoW is an awesome game.
you are retarded if you deny that WoW is the face of MMORPGs.
you are retarded if you deny that WoW is the face of MMORPGs.
You keep changing your arguement, first it was that Wow is the greatest MMO on the planet, then your arguement is that WE'RE idiots and now your arguement is that it's the face of MMORPG's.
The only thing WoW is is an MMO that was successful which beat Everquest in popularity back when that was the most profitable MMO. WoW is all about making money, the quests are the same repetitive bullshit over and over again, the community is entirely made up of thirteen year olds who don't know how to swear properly and then people to take the game way too seriously and shout 'AGGRO!!'' everywhere they go.
It's a shit experience and only a half decent game. It's a succesful game which is why EVERY journalistic organization and game developer company WANTS their to be a WoW killer everytime someone announces a new MMO is being made.
TOR will definitely be a better game, it may even be more succesful overtime. Your arguement has been rendered inhert, unless you change it for the fourth time.
How are you so sure SW:tOR will be better game? Even the developers do not have that right as it is not released, **** there is not even a demo out.
One word:
Bioware.
No developer is immune from making a shitty game.
Name a shitty game they've made.
I will first say that I love the KotOR series, and that I am in LOVE in the Mass Effect series (I mean seriously, if I could **** the game I would).
Just because they have no shitty games, does not mean that SW:tOR will not be shitty. Now, let me say that I hope this game succeeds, because as of now I intend on getting it, but I think you are not giving WoW the credit it deserves.
ITT people who never got past level 30 in WoW.
Everything related to gameplay you complain about related to WoW is nonexistent once you get over the low-level hump.:CAbove:
MMO's are completely different than one another! Well, if you take the good ones anyway. And even as you get to the higher levels in WoW, it still is the same stuff, with the exception of mounts, and different enemies. With good games, they try to make it different than another one. With WoW it's repetitive, with a game like SWG, you can do whatever you want (as I said in my previous post.)
Another example is CoV/CoH. While it is less of a sandbox than SWG, it presents a completely unique system. In my opinion, it seems that fantasy MMo's are only going to get worse, except for WoW. WoW is going to continue to prosper as long as their are 14 year old kids with their parent's credit card. Oh, that's another good thing about SWG that I forgot about. With SWG, you hardly ever have to deal with some ignorant kid, because the complexity of the game confuses them, and bores them. You deal with mature people, unlike WoW with people asking: "Can I has gold plz? Lol"
similar for eve online. (It attracts a large mature player base)
