OK, so, we've already got about 20 people who have posted in the sign-up thread. I'm not exactly sure, but aren't we ready to go?

Right, sign-up is now closed. I am making the draw currently and will post it up as soon as I'm done. It will be slightly different to usual, given that there's 20 of you.

Based upon positions in previous tournaments here and (and a couple of other things), 8 of you will be seeded and will go straight into the draw for the Grand Tournament. Of the remaining 12, 4 will be drawn at random to take up the next spots in the tournament. The final 8 will enter a preliminary qualification round, and the 4 victors will take the remaining 4 slots in the competition. The round of 16 will be drawn with seeds versus non-seeds (best way to make an entrance for the non-seeds!)

Seeding itself is done as fairly as possible and isn't personal. But bear in mind if you're not seeded, the better you do this time will increase your chance of being seeded next time.

NB you will automatically have to qualify if you have been warned or disqualified in a previous tournament hosted by myself.

EDIT: The draw for the Qualifying Round is up in the thread entitled The Draw. Feel free to begin, and remember to tag your matches as shown in the rules.

I believe it's nothing really important, Sensid. It's just the group that ends up battling the Seeded.

No worries. I'm just mad that my plans for the weekend have been cancelled because of rain. Really sucks. But I can still post in the tournament thread.

It means that you either haven't been here that long, or you haven't been in a tournament that I've run before. Nothing major, tbh.
